This is to Ekimaru:I almost had the same problem. I decided to draw mine too and I barely dinished my alternate yesterday. I think we have until midnight tonight or at 11:59 tomorrow. I forgot. Good luck dude. Just try to finish as fast as possible so your character can at least be in the tournament. Mine took about a week to draw and I'm barely entering her today. Lol

That's the last update from Crow. Deadline is tomorrow Tuesday 6/7/2011 by midnight. So, you still have the rest of today and all day tomorrow to get it in.

I think you should get a copy of Mortal Kombat Deception and read those bios inside the booklet.

Those aren't even a paragraph long, and they're detailed.

The thing about that is in the game you have more of a chance to flesh your character out. The characters may have short bios, but you have a story mode to see more details about your character. In Deception, you had Konquest interactions for example.

Given these are original creations, it's much more important to thoroughly get your character across in the bio itself, because it's your only chance to do so. There won't be any penalties for writing too much, unless it's excessive in such a way in that it's pointless information. Likewise, short bios won't be criticized, but only so long as they leave the judges with no lingering questions about your character.

I think some characters want to have a sense of mystery to attract people to want to know more and if they were to be in game it would be easier for devs to leave doors open for story development with lingering questions. I understand I am sorta pitching the whole character as if you are a dev but letting the character evolve or fade away in story by actual flow of the story in motion is much better than giving a complete background story and all that stuff. A slight idea of who the character is should be all you need to get a strike of interest...otherwise the character will as I said just fade away and become forgetable if it is not liked.

I'm finishing the update for my charachter. There were some things that neded to be revised. Saddly i couldn't get my friend to draw it :(

I hope I'm able to get my stuff in on time. Less than 24 hours to go. Is it okay to have a friend draw my character? I can draw stick people but thats about it.

I just sended my final update to you crow. I wish i could've sended a pic too but i hope that all the effort i put in the story and gameplay will compensate that.
