Well that awesome characters like Tanya and Havik are hated, and boring (but powerful) characters like Shinnok can win from classics. Bah.

Havik and Tanya didn't exactly lose by a landslide. If they were truly hated they wouldn't exactly make it to the second round.

Anyway, moving on to this round: It was a close one but I voted Baraka.

I'd prefer that over what I heard when MK9 came out. Every time Baraka's name was spoken, someone just had to follow it with Obama.

Baraka.
I've always liked Raiden, he was the first character I played as in MK1. But Baraka is just alot more fun and interesting.

Oof, Baraka just ran in to a buzz saw. Honestly, after MK9, I don't even feel bad for being a bit of a Baraka apologist in this situation. Raiden hasn't been the most likable character for me lately. I actually wouldn't mind it if he say the next one out.

I voted Baraka but I feel with all the speculation that Raiden is gonna be the one revealed tomorrow he could get a bump in votes, close match either way though.

This was a tough one. I went with Raiden because he's a God and is a big part of the story. I love Baraka ever since MK2, but he's kinda just a henchman.

I chose Raiden for pretty much the exact same reason.

Raiden may have screwed up in the story mode but Baraka just got his butt waxed mercilessly.

Peoples opinion of them are divided. As opposed to characters like Hsu Hao who almost everyone hates or whoever everyone loves. It becomes apparent in these polls. Scorpion is another.

I get that, but I don't think Kitana and Cyrax are characters people would vote against because they hate them, that's more of Scorpion's department. Plus Havik and Tanya are pretty polarizing as well, so I still believe it's a close match-up.
I have a gut feeling, though, Havik will become a fan-favorite if he's brought back in MKX, he has so much potential.
