I voted for Shinnok on this one. It was a close call for me, I like both and I think there is a lot of room for development on each of them. But in the end, I look forward to seeing a menacing Shinnok, even if he's not the final boss of MKX.

I'm gonna scream if Shinnok will beat Reptile, while tanya and havik (much better post MK3 characters) didn't win from their MK 3 and back counterparts...

Never cared for Shinnok, the skeleton hands stuff could be on Quan Chi, and those are the only things I liked about him.

Never liked powerhouse evil guys that are rulers. Don't mind Shao Kahn, but Shinnok was never really appealing to me.

While in a theoretical match-up I think it'd be nigh impossible for any character to defeat Shinnok on their own (given that he's a fallen Elder God and all), I still gotta vote for my fave.

Reptile may have devolved into an impotent lackey over the years, but here's to him actually being a menacing threat again in MKX.

My second favorite character in the series. Was originally my favorite when I first played MK 2 all the way up until Deadly Alliance. Until they turned him into an actual damn LIZARD! I'm going to go with Reptile on this one. Not because he's one of my favorites but because I don't think Shinnok has ever been properly presented gameplay wise. I feel like they missed the mark with MK 4. So this new game will have to really bring his gameplay to life.

I've gotta vote reptile, qnd I hope he gets the spoken lines he deserves... if he's in.

If this was a real fight, then Reptile would have to REPlenish his health fast, otherwise, his body parts will need REPackaging, but his body parts could be REPlacable. Gee, this joke is getting REPetative fast, it needs some REPaneling. I wonder if Reptile can REPel Shinnok's projectiles, because if he can't, his entire body will need to be REPaired. I wonder how people will REPly to this terrible joke.
