Considering the fact that Ermac is made up of a plethora of souls, a concept of which i highly doubt a kid would understand , and that Ermac likes to mentally rip peoples arms off... For kids? Not so much. Cartoony Nitara on the oither hand...

Definately Rain. Shao Kahn is cool, though I hated his look in MK9. Rain is on my top 5 of favourite MK characters, however, so he gets my vote. ^^

Shao Kahn is one of the most recognized Mortal Kombat characters, while Rain is the least recognized ninja.. well, if you don't count Tremor.
