I learned that I should have been a more active member and that I miss seeing/talking to some of the old school members. :(
I came to this site before MK:DA was released and met quite a few awesome fuckers. Pardon my language.

I'm another 10yr+ personality by now. I've learned alot from MKO actually. This site served as my introduction to graphic design and basic HTML. I learned how to manage different types of relationships over the web from MKO, and how to do national or international small business from dealing with this site. I obviously had to pursue all of these things alot further than just MKO but, I took every experience as a learning opportunity and it proved to be a breeding ground for that.
But probably the most important thing I learned from MKO, is not to take the goofballs and other clowns who peruse the internet so serious. As much serious business that does happen over the web now days, most are in some kind of character when they're on the web. I think that's the most hilariously enjoyable part about MKO, and the web in general.
"You're not you...you're you!"
lol

Honestly this site helped me mature as a person.
I first came here when I was like 10 or 11. Didn't have a fucking clue how you were supposed to act on forums, but I eventually got the hang of it. Met some cool people, requested a shit ton of signatures, and all in all had a good time.

That no one really gives a shit about anyone else.
That you can go 3 years on a forum without making any fucking friends.
That people will criticize you for having an opinion.
That you can step into an argument without even trying to.

Bezo!...I feel as if I should've told you this a long time ago, but, "The Adventures of Spirit Liu" was the stuff of legend.
I learned that...good things don't last forever, but also, that change should not be looked at as a bad thing.
And also, that gifs of Ralph from The Simpsons waving goodbye can be taken as condescending... Sorry Quanchi9.
I only casually speak to users here, and I've always enjoyed stopping by and shooting the shit about one of my favorite video games.
