I learned basic HTML coding, I've learned how to make signatures, and I learned to better my grammar, too. I've made friends over the years; some have come and gone, but I still got 1 or 2 still on here.

I learned that every background character, rumor, minor character, cameo, and NPC should become playable at some point.

Ha, yeah that seems to be a recurring theme over the years.

But seriously, I've learned countless things from the users themselves, here.

Drawing/Painting techniques, fake-making techniques, how to animate sigs, how to communicate maturity and rationalization, humbleness - no opinion is better than the other (trolls excluded), huge variety of other PS tricks, grammar (love how we hold a silent standard, "No1 talks lyke dis"), the list goes on...oh and that Reptile/Scorpion/Sub-Zero aren't the only characters that matter.

In short, MKO is awesome. In every sense of the word, and now (8-9 years later I think?), even nostalgic.

I learned a lot here, but I suppose you can do that in 10+ years. I think the most important thing I've learned from MKO is to never take anything on the internet too seriously. I've always been a sarcastic, fun-poking guy and I've had plenty of opportunities to do that here while also making lots of friends and feeling like I'm a part of something.

Haven't learned much, but I have made some damn good friends here.

In a few years, we'll get the 4K 3D version.

I've learned that there are others out there in the world just as crazy obsessive as i am about ripping off animated heads.

Also that there are some really cool and intelligent Americans, keep fighting the stereotype, guys!

I learned that Ed Boon blocks you from social media if you correct his mistakes.

That users on this site with an extremely high post count are always pessimistic and seem super depressed.

That a lot of gay guys love MK.

That most members don't actually learn to play the game. After a month or so they stop playing, never play competitively, overall suck at the game, and have zero knowledge or interest in fighting game mechanics. For a game that does such an amazing job at creating play styles that reflect their character's personality/story line I find that very odd.

Says more about this site than the users. XD

This was my first forum, so I learned a lot since I've been here.

- How to actually function on a forum.

- To be a bit more open minded.

- Story is the most valued thing here which is odd for a fighting game.

- Some good people here

- Rather than trying to get the last word in, its best to just let the argument go.

- Internet slang and memes.

- I don't always need to argue with someone I disagree with.

- This place doesn't actually play online.

Nothing, that I didn't know already from my experince on other forums.

- There are some people who make accounts to fansites just to see if there are women on here to "failingly" hit on them and do nothing else here.

- People go crazy whenever Boon tweets something. (I swear, he's bigger than some huge celebrities out there at times)

- People love Sub-Zero's ice clone throw as much as I do.

- I've made some new friends over the years here, and wouldn't mind making some more.

- That i should always comb out my responses and must face up to mistakes no matter how painful or tiring it is.

- That doing your responsibilities does not amek you excempt from your hypocrisy.

- Crow, DArque, ehereever you guys are, you are my friends.

- Debating for the sake of debating is ultimately a pointless exercise.

- Taking MK too seriously is also pointless.

- That someone who is being a jackass still may have relevant points. Or ivce versa, just because it sounds educated it still might amount to nothing.

- General forum etiquette for later websites.

-That the MKO IRC chat is unconnectable.

- Jax007's drawings taste like muffins.

- That the website should be about fun and not serious shit flinging.

I've been saying this about the franchise since MK:A. The new game isn't silly enough to be MK.

- That some people on here genuinely do not like MK.

- I like many others learned how to do cool stuff on here.

- I learned to grow a backbone, and hold onto my opinion instead of catering to what is popular.

- People do remember you on MKO regardless of rank or "popularity'

Not really on topic, but I do wish that the MKO community was more involved with online gaming.

I've learned that I need to pick my own battles when it's actually necessary.

Also, I've made a lot of frie- actually, I haven't made any, so never mind.

I'd be down for online stuff but my connection truly sucks. However, more online games coming out soon so I guess expect me on around after Christmas

Just how ridiculous the site looks on my monitor.

I use 1024x768 resolution on my CRT, so MKO looks allright.
But forum in desperate need of new engine. Or at least upgrades that would've made it more user friendly.
