In all honesty, I don't care much for people yelling FAG or anything else like that at me. I'm not the one with the problem. I am quite content with who I am, so the one with the problem is the one yelling at me. I just feel sorry that they feel the need to shout out something like that.

One thing is to have an opinion and dislike something. Another thing is to shout it out whenever the possibility arise. It's the same on these forums, really. If someone is unhappy about something, they will call it out at every thread that has the possibilty to be moved onto that topic.

I admit, I have done the same thing. I've been raged about Quan Chi making an appearance in the game while Rain was left out. I've been annoyed about people calling all the palette swaps for ninjas when only Scorpion is a ninja - though that is still debatable if he really is a ninja. I've called out on the ridiculous animation Kitana's hair has in the game. And now all this trouble with the weed/drug abusers.

I try not to get personal and try to be open-minded about others opinions, but sometimes the evil in me (yeah, let's call it that, it sounds cool) is triggered and turns up to show its ugly face.

I know, it's not quite the same as being bullied by idiots who shout bad words at you just for being who you are, but my point was to show that we all have that bad side which shows up at times. All in all, it's about personal insecurity - wanting to boost your own ego by calling out others. And everyone does it. It's sad, but true, really.

There are of course some exceptions, and I have a deepfound respect for those people. They are the ones who are really at peace with themselves and the world around them.

Anyways, to wrap this all up: I deal with it by accepting that that's just how the world is. No one is perfect. All I can do is just be me and hope people can accept me for who I am. If they can't, then there's not really much I can do about it. Nor is it really my problem.

Hmm, to the guy with the mk stoner thread.

1.) Shouldnt have been closed.

2.) Weed is damn near legal in Cali, Colorado, and New mexico. sure im missing more but yeah its starting to "Bud" out.

3.) People shouldnt flame a guy for being so pumped about smoking weed. W.e who cares if you had to jump on his thread and down him in anyway your a trashy bitch end of story.

Why? This is easily one of the most highly debated topics ever. Which judging by the mods decision to close the stoners thread(debate and animosity) this thread easily beats that. Also lets say the mod had a personal vendetta against pot heads? How many people here do you think are comfortable with talk of all things gay? Sure plenty are but still there is a majority here.

Lastly, what if tomorrow everyone was a stoner? The world would reek of weed, Violence would surely drop because there would be a lot less people out doing things because they were too high to move. who knows maybe even world leaders could come to set their differences aside over a bong or something?

To show you that pretty much any name that someone finds offensive, they will throw out. They don't even have to know your personal life, as long as the word they throw out there means to be offensive, they will use it. Whether or not it makes them feel tough... Still, they'll use the word, even the "N" word.

I don't let it bother me, I hear so much racist, sexist, and homophobic stuff online, that if I let it bother me, I wouldn't enjoy online play, I use their ignorance as a motivating factor to kick their butt They don't know we're gay, but the fact that they use such terms as an insult or "trash talking" is very indicative of them thinking it's a bad thing.
