Straight not a gaymer but id like to put my input down

Johnny Cage- Has always been the man and is the best to me. Every MK game I have always choose him if he was in it no matter what cause his moves,speed, and power have always been great and awesome!

To me I noticed that the gaymers like the females, of course I think the females were stronger in the early games than they were later games, during MKDA-MKA is when the strength of the female characters went down which I hated cause I didnt like playing them anymore, cause like in MK2 I loved every character cause I could master them easy in the later games it was harder to master the females cause they werent as quick as they were in the early part of MK (MK1-MKT) hopefully with MK9 (which by the videos weve seen, they look like they kick-ass) they got their speed and power back and are not weak like they are in MKDA-MKA

J-R, I would say Reiko *is* one of the gayest looking characters.
Not because of any colors or behavior or anything, but because THIS:

looks like it belongs in a leatherdaddy bar or a Pride Day parade float.
Don't get me wrong, it's a cool outfit,
but it's arguably the most fetish-inspired costume any of the males have ever had (Kahn and Stryker being other frontrunners).

Well, you got a point, but believe me, I know some straight guys who are into all that leather-stuff who look ALOT gayer than Reiko in his MKA outfit. :P

But why Stryker? Is it his leathersuit main from MKA you mean? Because that's basically a tactical suit on par with modern superheroes, like those they wear in the X-Men movies.

Stryker gets the nod mainly for being a cop, which is a common fetish. His black leather suit in MKA and his skin-tight shirt in MK9, coupled with all the handcuffs, nightsticks, guns, gloves, boots, etc. are all pretty fetish-y, IMO.
It's not necessarily intentional- they just created a character who falls into a pre-existing category of fetishism.

I've said before I'm part gay, but even if I weren't, I'd still be into skin-tight leather, rubber, combat boots, etc.

Favorite kharacter overall would definitely have to be the green lizard (ok, male, not that interesting).
Favorite female kharacter - oh well - Kitana. Blue's my favorite color, she has (ocassional) ponytail and straight hair, long legs, killer heels, etc. Oh and the fans as well. :D

Just because it is fetishy doesn't mean it is gay related. There are people who are into kinky things like that, that are straight and do that stuff with women. So don't sterotype fetishy things as being mainly homosexual.

Wether you're gay or straight. It's now what MK character, in any mk game, looks gay or could be gay and random comments about these characters wether they're in MK 9 or not.

So explain to me how this thread still has to do with MK 9 or what the creator started it for? The thread shouldn't be locked. It should be moved to the general forum as there is not a trace of MK 9 discussion at this point.

Female Character: Kitana, always liked since mk2 and I always do better with females characters then males in most fighting games Cough: Soul calibur 4 Cough, even if I like the male character better :p. However in this case I like Kitana better strangely I was always drawn to her :p

Straight here, but I always tend to be better with the female characters. I guess it's because I prefer speed over strength, and the females tend to be quicker than most of the males. As for "Soul Calibur 4", I like to use Ivy or Setsuka the most out of everyone. People talk shit when I pick them, but they STFU after I kick their asses with them, LOL.

I try to explain to them that it does not make you less of a man to use a female character in any game. To me, that is one of the most idiotic reasons to give regarding that subject. You gotta come harder than that!
