Kitana being pretty is one of the reasons I started liking her. When I started playing MK2, I picked Kitana over Mileena for shallow reasons: I liked blue more than purple, Kitana was the pretty one, Steel fans are WAY cooler than sais *I was in 2nd grade lol*. I continued to like Kitana more because I felt she had a stronger story than Mileena. Though if I were to just base it on looks, I would've went with Sonya in UMK3, but Kitana's my girl!

I don't mean to bash you on your opinion but, I think Jade looks better than Kitana look wise, but Mileena has always startled me in every aspect of her ^^

Thats exactly what happened to me. I still LOVE kitana but i love mileena as well, because as i grew i liked the dramatic story lines, but definately kitana all the way and how you decribed it is EXACTLY how i fell for her. (in a totally non sexual way) lol

Back in MK2, Jade never showed her face, and she wasn't playable, that was when I was very impressionable. Kitana has a better story, in my opinion. Though Jade is fuggin' beautiful in this game, I'm a loyal fan..

Jade!

She is all those things. She has some cool moves, she is fast, her weapon style is awesome and she looks absolutely gorgous. Another character that can compare to Jade is Orchid from Killer Instinct. They seem to have many things in common.

When it comes to male characters in fighting games, it varies alot more, but usually the ninja/assassin-like characters are what attracts me mostly, but it's not always the case.
Jago in Killer Instinct, Hayate in Dead or Alive, Bang in Blazblue - they are all ninja characters who I mainly play as in their respective fighting games.
However, Reiko in Mortal Kombat, Lars in Tekken, Zasalamel in Soul Calibure - they are not assassins and aren't really that fast-paced, but I simply love their fighting styles, their moves and of course, their looks.

My top 10 of MK characters would be:
Jade
Kitana
Mileena
Reiko
Rain
Noob
Sektor
Sareena
Nitara
Sindel

As you might notice, 2/3 of the characters on my list are female characters, for some reason. Take it how you want it.

Other characters I like to use in MK are Ermac, Baraka, Reptile, Shang Tsung, Stryker, Tanya and Kung Lao. I usually never play as any of the other characters other than once or twice to get their storylines and endings.

So there you go. ^^

My favourite Males are Sub Zero and Nightowlf.

I do find myself liking female video game characters more than males generally too. In fact pretty much my full list of top video game characters is female. Kitana is my #1, and Sareena is my #3 of all time. But I dont like all female characters just because they're female (I have noticed a lot of people across the gaming community do).

I like magic based characters, especailly when it comes to RPGs where I like white/black mages/healers etc and the majority of the games ive played of that genre have females cast in these roles.

Damn, This tranny talk got me thinking about a theory about Rain being included in the main roster. So It's pretty safe to assume he may be a little gay. What if he went full trans this time and is now the chick in red? Just saying. Don't kill me Rain fans.

Favourite male is alot harder as I find the girls alot more fun to play as, but Reptile and Baraka are probably most used.

And on a purely superficial level Mavado and Johnny Cage (if they stopped making him such a douche) are my picks for best looking. The Johnny Cage actor from Trilogy was a complete babe!!
