I'm having my first official match on Oct. 2 in a stadium and were looking at 500 plus people in attendance really nervous and exited at the same time.
Can't wait for it and can't belive that it's actually happining. It's just crazy dreaming about this moment since I was a little kid and going through the stuglles to get to this point and now it's actually happening to me I just feel really blessed and can't wait to go out there and perform infront of people and show them what I got.

hey was anyone able to catch TNA Hardcore Justice Was it any good? From what I read at PWI I heard the show was pretty bad which is a shame

btw, what's up with the name? Hardcore Justice? I know you're supposed to make your PPVs sound like crappy Action Flicks, but not crappy pornos

I actually liked most of it. Sure, the dancing shit in the first fight was dumb, but the fighting itself was good. I wouldn't watch this all the time, but I think for a change of pace, it's good. Also, they pushed the right people with their wins. You make the guys that are going to stay with you for a while win, which for once they did. Let's not forget that there was a lot of fan service and that was the whole idea to which the crowd responded like crazy. 9/10

As for the matches themselfs:
RDV vs Sabu was really good in my opinion, there was only 1 semi-botch and it was actually making things less painful(Sabu fell on a chair, but only his elbow touched it) and that is an accomplishment in a Sabu match. 8.5/10

Dreamer vs Raven played out well and at one point I did feel for Dreamer when he was handcuffed and bleeding. I usually dislike him a lot and still do, but it was a good story and they brought it well, all the while reminiscing of Raven winning all the time in ECW. Oh! And can you say barbwire on Mr. Sucko? 9/10

There was one match for me that stood above the rest and it was Rhyno vs Brother Runt vs Al Snow. For me, it had everything; there were good wrestling moves, high spots, they pushed the right person for the company like I stated before and they even injected actually funny stuff! For those who did not and won't watch the PPV, at one point runt takes a page out of Eddie Guerrero's playbook, takes a chair then hits it on the ground while the ref is not looking to send it to all Snow... BUT instead of just waiting for the ref to turn around and disqualify him, Snow does the same. And I was with the crowd every second they chanted that they wanted Head! 10/10

"Justin Incredible" and Richards, I liked, but I mark for Richards in advance. The BWO thingy could've been better, crappy that the real Blue Meanie couldn't be there. 7/10

2 Cold Scorpio vs CW Anderson was not bad. 6,5/10
Balls vs Team 3D a 7/10
FBI vs Kid Kash with Simon DIamond and Johnny Swinger 7,5/10 or 6/10. I give it two marks, the first one is on the wrestling and the second one is the whole thing with the stupid dancing part, but I can dig that they wanted fan service... but it was bad.

Since there is a lack of discussion....

Top five moments in Wrestling History (imo)

5. Shawn Michaels throat slash before getting Tombstoned by Taker at Wrestlemania 26:

Come on, do I have to say why? If someone who had never heard of HBK asked me about him, this is the first thing I'd show him. The throat slash

4. Shawn Michaels wins the first Elimination Chamber:

I love the Elimination Chamber match. I don't care what anyone says, elimination matches are awesome. The first elimination chamber match was basically everything I wanted in a wrestling match. The first one however was by far the best. Shawn Michaels fighting off both Jericho and HHH at the end, then taking the title was perfectly played. Loved it.

3. Kurt Angle defects the Alliance to save the WWF at Survivor Series:

Okay, for wrestling fans like us it was kinda obvious that the WWF was going to win this match but back then it was a big deal to me. I had no idea what was going to happen. I never watched WCW or ECW and loved the WWF. Back then I bought the angle and I knew that an invasion was taking place. When Stone Cold was about to finish off The Rock at the end and Kurt Angle showed up to stop him I crapped a brick. Looking back at it, the match was still fun but at the time I watched it it was jaw dropping. Sometimes I miss that childhood ignorance =\

2. Stone Cold vs. The Rock Wrestlemania XV:

Two of my favorite wrestlers of all time putting on an amazing show in the grandest stage of all time. This was the original and best Austin/Rock match.

1. Christ Benoit's Road to Wrestlemania XX and post Wrestlemania Celebration with Eddie Guerrero:

How could this not be up here. The first Wrestlemania I watched. It was me and two friends who threw our money together to watch Wrestlemania XX. The final match on the card was the Triple Threat match between HBK, HHH and Benoit. Everything about this match and the hype leading up to it is so nostalgic now. I was ten when I watched the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania.

The match itself was incredible and definitely my personal favorite. But after the match when Eddie Guerrero came out with his title and all the confetti came down a tear came down my eye. To see these two guys closing out Wrestlemania XX with the world titles in their hand was amazing. Then, ya know, the deaths and stuff. Benoit's suicide will never smudge this amazing moment in wrestling history

So, another young guy dies of heart issues due to painkiller and steroid abuse. How about that safe WWE style, huh. No neck bumps. Just 300 days a year on the road. Perfectly safe.

It's unfair to jump the gun here. Obviously yeah, Cade had a history of substance abuse and that's largely why he wasn't with the company (much like Umaga before him). Still, blaming WWE is unfair and small minded. Several great wrestlers have gone their entire careers without abusing medications; if you want to be in the wrestling profession, I think there are just some aspects of it you have to deal with.

I don't think it's an unfair criticism, but I don't even really view it as a criticism so much as an observation.

Consider that WWE is the only promotion in the world where people are expected to work that kind of schedule. It's also the only promotion I am aware of (and I am aware of a great many) who will freely depush or outright fire non-mainevent talent if they are out with injury for more than two months at a time. Significantly fewer stars in Japanese and Mexican promotions (and practically none in Europe) are dropping dead like this. There are drugs, alcohol, painkillers, and steroids in every promotion of any significance; far more outside of WWE, because most other promotions usually don't test for drugs at all.

The difference is that their more reasonable schedules allow them to cycle their steroid usage better so that it has less impact on their bodies, because they're using the steroids less frequently due to the fact that they're injured less frequently (and also they don't have to be inhumanely buff while they're off tour). Likewise their intake of pain medication is reduced; take the meds on tour if you need to, then when the tour is over, go home and rest for a few weeks without bumping and take it easy. The body recovers from its external injuries, and the strain is physically taken off the heart once it's not being pumped full of chemicals to boost rapid muscle growth and become enlarged and overworked. Also there's a respite from the stress of the road and obviously stress is a pretty important factor in dealing with blood pressure and dodgy tickers, etc.

This is why it's not uncommon for guys outside the US to have been able to go 20+ years in the business using steroids, while they retain their alcoholism and chainsmoking-two-packs-per-day lifestyles, and still keep on running. I honestly think Rey Misterio Sr might still be getting in the ring after his nephew retires (or kicks the bucket) at this rate.

So I think when you compare the long term (or even short term) wellbeing of the talent from promotion to promotion it's pretty clear that something in the environment fostered by WWE is what's doing the damage to these guys, and the only thing WWE does differently to other big promotions is that they don't tour whatsoever. They just run, all year round, every week, three or four shows per week. And that's the real problem. Not the drugs themselves, but the way they're abused so incessantly for so long because nobody wants to lose their spot, or job. WWE needs to start touring and offering their talent legitimate breaks to recuperate throughout their work year or this will continue to happen.

I think I just came.

P.S. I liked the special TNA episode, it displayed one of the best tag matches I have ever seen.

Now, I can't wait to see Summerslam.

Great moment to be into wrestling right now.

Oh! And did you notice that for he first time since his return, they acknowledged RTruth as having being in the company as K-Kuik before?

I'm back.

Great point Shibata, very trrue indeed. Though Cade hadn't wrestled for the WWE in many months.

In my opinion WWE should go out of its way to not let so many guys compete all the time. They have so many superstars it wouldn't kill them to do use a season system. Some guys wrestle from month X to month Y, other guys wrestle from month Y to month Z, something like that. Obviously needs work but it should help.

I was awesomeshocked when Cena said the 7th member was Daniel Bryan. Awesome performance by the Dragon too, can't wait to finally see his feud with the Miz develop. Hopefully he becomes the American Dragon when he takes Miz's U.S. title at Night of Champions.

By the way here's a close up image of the new WWE Tag Team title belts. I don't really know what to make of them, I love the fact that it's a very classic, old school design, but I'm not crazy on the gladiator helmets.

Striker is there to pretty much appeal to the smarks/internet community. I think WWE understands how large and important it is. He didn't waste any time calling Danielson the American Dragon for example.

Nexus: There's Young! Frolicking in the meadows!
Young: I have come to a decision! I want to face Cena in the final match very much!
Otunga: No Young! You know if you lose you'll be put have massive amnesia!

Pro wrestling can look like a soap opera sometimes, but holy hell that segment on Raw where Young told the Nexus he wanted to face Cena....

Also screw the Wendy chants. Heath Buttfucking Slater is more catchy. Heath Buttfucking Slater is about as interesting as a wet napkin. Hope they kick him out next. Barret, Otunga, the big black dude, the big white dude, and the other guy are decent enough to work in the WWE imo.

btw, the Night of Champions Main Event is kind of odd. Barret, Cena, Sheamus, Orton, Jericho and Edge for the WWE title. Why add Jericho and Edge? No chance they'll win. This match is probably just a way to transition the title to the hands of Cena/Barret so they can add something more to the Nexus feud.

edit: whoops, forgot his name was Darren Young. Whatever, from now on any Nexus member I can't remember will be referred to as Tarver by me

So Husky Harris is gone now. We're down to Alex Riley, Kaval and Jamie Noble, just as I predicted. I'm guessing it'll come down to Kaval and Gibson, and Kaval will win.

Well sorry for the double post guys but I just wanted to say I was voted the number 1 wrestler in Portugal on a portuguese wrestling website. Of course it's just mostly a few internet fans voting, but it's still honorable and I'm proud of it.

Of course none of you can read it but there's the link anyway, placing me #1 on the top 16 Portuguese wrestlers. Hurray for me!

You guys see Goldberg was added to WWE's alumni page? Looks like they reached that deal that was mentioned a while back after all. Goldberg back in 2011 maybe?

Goldberg was talking about coming back and doing maybe one more match a while ago, I wonder if that's going to happen now.
I'm not really sure I think it's a good idea. Booking Goldberg must be expensive as hell, and he's never been one to put people over. He's not even a great worker even though I liked seeing him. I guess it would be cool to have him lose to Taker at Mania, but after that they should really have him put a young guy over. Lose clean to Wade Barret or something.

I completely disagree. I'm happy that right now, even if Sheamus is not great, someone else besides Triple-H and Cena are in the title picture. I'm tired of them being put over over and over again, specially since Triple H is his best being the heel, way better.
