"You see, I face a whole new Monster!! I face a man, who represents, the Nintendo Entertainment System..."
Eugene and Flair become Tag champs, flair starts to turn face.
Jericho over Batista.
Edge over Orton.
Kane over Hardy.
Perperation H over Beniot .
With Trips getting the belt, Orton loosing his - and is kinda like WTF with Trips, Flair turning face and getting a soft spot for Eugene and Batista getting punked, Evo starts to crumble. Word.
Black_Dragon Wrote: Youre Right Vince does, but do you actually think he listens to the fans? If you do then your crazy, I mean come one, JBL, Everyone hated him, not because he was good heel, but becuase he couldnt wrestle, and the fans pleaded to not give JBL the title, but wait, Vince just gives it to him! And HHH is still working on the movie, they have a Pic of him in the Blade: Trinity movie up there somewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!! Secondly Flair is still A Great wrestler fool!!!!!!! I cant believe your saying that !!!! Give me one good reason why he cant wrestle? And well, yeah Kidman/ London, I agree , I wouldve liked it more if they were in SD! more as a team, but looks like Tag Teams are now just being put togheter by a raffle, but still Paul London is a GREAAT wrestler! |
I meant the movie that the WWE was going to have Triple H make, that got cancelled. Oh never mind!
Any way, I hate Triple H, and I hope he loses at Vengeance, but I think he'll win, based on the fact that he gets everything he wants. You're right, lately it seems Vince doesn't give a fuck what the fans think.
I never said Flair can't wrestle, I said he shouldn't be aloud to. Most guys know when they can't do it and hang with the boys, and I believe it's time for Flair to wake up to the fact that he's past it, and should just stick to managing Evolution, and put his gear away.
Satyagraha, you need to lay off the sauce, WORD!
LOL! You think Flair will turn soft and turn face with Eugene? NOT! Trips will likely turn face, when Eugene starts to grow on him, remember, he's the one who got to Eugene, not Flair.
*thinks of that seinfeld episode*
"Come on George come and fight your father!"LOL

Dude, I like my sauce, it's special .
Face Trips > heel Trips, IMO. But that's not saying much, heh. Even though I still go to take a shit break everytime I hear " Time to Play the Game, Muahahaha!!" I have been enjoying those little pychological things he's been trying to put effort into. I just think that it would be highly entertaining to see a few tag matches with Eugene/Flair. I wouldn't put it past WWE to give the fans such a treat, but I wouldnt' be surprised if they didn't, either.
Anywno, time to watch Jeopardy. Ken Jennings ownjoo for free!!
Drfatality Wrote: Rick Flair should retire. If he loves wrestling so much why not just contribute to the buisness side of it? *thinks of that seinfeld episode* "Come on George come and fight your father!"LOL |
YES, OH God Yes. Dude you are the one who gets it! Flair should become a road agent, that way we only see him on tv when he, Arn, Hayes, Slaughter, and the others occasionally break up the backstage "brawls". Or like I said, become Evolutions sole manager, then the group can find another member to wrestle.
Satyagraha, sauce is good, but too much is bad, so lay off it a little. I'm going to lay off posting news, and just discuss and post show previews. Check out my source sites if you guys want the latest news: steveswrestling.com, twnpnews.com, and SESCOOPS.com
besides, even for his age, Flair still puts on alot of very good matches out there. Remember his match with Triple H last year? or his match with Benjamin at Backlash, or his match with Benoit a couple of month ago? the list goes on, These were all very good matches. I don't give a shit about age, if Flair could still wrestle out there regardless of age, than he should stay in the ring until HE feel he should call it quits. No reason for him to retire if he could still go.
theres me 2 cent.
He should just retire from the ring, but then again he has always made his name due too his unselfishness and kindness. He is one of the only good wrestlers that achieved greatness yet unselfishly put over some younger wrestlers such as Sting.

And damn! I woke up this morning and turned to Fox News and saw Ric Flair promoting his book. But I missed 98% of it though. DAMN! Did the WWE site post any t.v. appearances he might be on today?

Zentile Wrote: Dunno if it's been posted yet, but there's a new DVD out there called ''Hard Knocks'' and it's a two disk Benoit history special. Benoit kicks ass. |
Nope, so thanks for letting us know. My friend plans on buying it, so I'm going to borrow it from him. Should be pretty good.
olympic_Hero, you bring up many valid points, but I for one wish the man would retire. Sure he gives the odd good match (mostly on ppv!), but I still think retirement would do him good. He really has nothing more to prove to the fans, he's done it all, one 16 big ones, he should step aside, and not continue to be a glory, spotlight hog like Trips.
ghostdragon, who's Terry Tate beating up in that pic?

Despite having less television clearance, TNA Impact! on Fox Sports Net has been neck-and-neck with WWE Velocity, with both shows scoring in the 0.2-0.3 range. Although that rating isn't considered outstanding, TNA's number is much more impressive since they run their show on a weaker network and don't receive nearly as much publicity.
The current plan for Summer Slam is to have Kurt Angle vs. Eddie Guerrero.
They are both superb wrestlers, and have been teaming since Spanky left, which was in January. Thats 7 months as a team, I don't call that thrown together. Hell, they are the only logical chanllengers. After all they did beat the Dudeleys on Velocity last week.

Some poor office worker who didn't coallate his files properly I suppose. I think Reebok took the site offline too.
I think it's only a matter of time before TNA takes off and really scares WWE.

And speaking of WWE, there isn't really anything that interesting going on there anyways. Since about '96 WWE has had great things to make me watch it. There programming hasn't been this bad since about '94.
Let's see how long it takes WWE to get out of this slump they have been in for about 2 years. I keep waiting for something good and haven't seen it yet.

Agreed. But there has been some interesting things in the WWE, but not much lately. The biggest news stories this year were the departures of Goldberg, Lesner and Austin, as well as the incident with Bradshaw. Things will likely pick up a little over the next few months.

TNA is alot better than the WWE wrestling wise.I enjoy watching TNA's wrestlers. After watching TNA,the WWE wrestlers seem slugish.TNA is more fast paced.Plus they don't have gimmicks. It's straight wrestling and thats what it's supposed to be.Not some dumb Soap Opera.
But because I am a wrestling fan, I will continue to shell out my 35 bucks a month and watch week to week at the crap they throw at us and hope that it gets better sooner rather than later.

I thoroughly enjoyed the ONE time that Cole has ever talked some smack to Taz . Actually, I enjoyed the commentating tonight as a whole. Kenzo's look was priceless at the end of his promo, too.
The talent...I mean the cruisers got a good showcasing tonight, as well. And the book/cena match was decent enough and told a story. Can't wait for Angle/Cena .
Billy and London? Sure, why not, mix shit up. It's not like the Dudleys were doing anythning notable. Both Billy and London are work horses and it gives london some cred.
Not the greatest of show's, but, eh. I enjoyed it, especially the 6 man tag. I just hope Eddie doesn't blow his elbow out with that Frog splash from the cage next week. 0_0
Dudleys Vs London/Kidman was a very good match. these two are fantastic wrestlers, they definlly deserve the WWE Tag Team Titles. Imagine, Dudleys Vs LOndon/Kidman(c) for the Tag Titles in a Ladder Match at Summerslam!!!
The 6-man Cruiserweight match was such a fantastic match! definlly match of the night right there.
Jindrak vs RVD was pretty good I guess. but sence when did Teddy Long and Jindrak seperate? first time I heard about that.
The Luchadore/JBL/Eddie segment was pretty good. I don't care what anyone saids. JBL is still a entertaining charater.
Damn, No Undertaker tonight! well at least it'll be interesting to see what he saids or does to Heyman
Booker/Cena was a very good match. it went slow at times but it got better. I wonder what the plans are for the US title now. I'am guessing a Tournment to crown a new Champion.
Anyways, very good show tonight and next week's SmackDown! should be a damn good one to. we got the Cage Match, the US Title situation and the Undertaker/Heyman thing.

Well that's about all you can do. Anyone got that WWE 24/7 channel? I don't have access to it yet in Canada, but I want to know if it's something I should fight hard for my cable company to get. I'd practically watch the damn thing every day.
I didn't watch SD this week, but I'm for sure going to watch next week. I just hope Eddie will kick JBL's ass all over that cage.
