You're right on all counts except Eugene. He's the best new character they've come up with since The Hurricane.
On an unrelated note, I finally got a chance to see the first Elimination Chamber match. Pure greatness. HBK owns.

Anyone think Shamrock will get the belt sometime in the future?

It would be cool if Kane and Taker were going at it again like they were when Kane first came to the WWE.I'll never forget when Kane made his 1st apperance.Throwing Taker in the casket and lighting it on fire.Good Times...

Writer 1: OK, so we have a rivalry between Hurricane and Goldust. But what can we do to further the storyline.
Writer 2: I know! Let's have Evolution come down and help Goldust win!
Writer 1: OF COURSE! It makes perfect sense.
Writer 3 who just got back from watching MAD TV: How?
[Silence]
Writer 2: Who cares?
Writer 1: Good point, we just got Evolution involved in another storyline!
All: Hooray!
Secondly, the WWF/WWE will always be the premier wrestling organization, so if any of you wanna jump ship, do so now, but don't say you ever wanna come back.
The WWE is just going thru some tough times right now, calm down tho, I promise you all it will be good again..

Actually, if you want to get technical, that was a few weeks/months after Kane debuted. In his first appearance in the WWF, it was during the first ever Hell in a cell, and Kane cost Undertaker the victory.
sub-zeromasta, thanks for the heads up on Trip's name in Blade. I never thought of looking on the IMDB.
NoObSaIbOt777, Shawn has already left, to spend time with his family, and he will be back to build a story with Kane.

Paul Bearer Reminds Fans That He Is Alive; But Not Likely To Return:
On Paul Bearer's official website, the front page has been updated with a picture of Bearer holding one black rose next to a gravesite and an arm popping up out of the ground to indicate that Bearer is not dead. Below that written in huge letters is the following:
"Is Kayfabe Alive? OOOOHHH YEESSS!!!! (So Is Paul Bearer)"
Bearer also left the following message for his fans:
On Sunday, June 27, 2004, during THE WWE GREAT AMERICN BASH - PPV, at The Scope Coliseum, in Norfolk, Virginia. The Undertaker himself, attempted to destroy The WWE Paul Bearer character. Bearer's body was encased in a glass crypt, filled with concrete. It was said that Paul Bearer, was the conscience of The Undertaker, his only weakness. In the fact that his feelings for him demonstrated what remained of "The Phenom's" mortality. WWE explains that the Paul Bearer character suffered severe internal injuries from the weight of the concrete, including damage to his lungs and trachea due to inhalation of the toxic material. The bottom line is that the Paul Bearer character is alive. However, no prognosis has been given by World Wrestling Entertainment, except that it is unlikely that he will ever appear again.
First Couple Of WCW Announces Separation:
Former WCW World champion Diamond Dallas Page announced in an online statement that he and wife Kimberly Page have separated. Page's full statement from his latest website commentary reads:
"I just wanted to put out a quick statement to put to rest any bull$hit rumors that could be floating around out there. My wife is a very private person and out of respect to her, Ill keep this brief and simple. Yes, we have separated and it has been on good terms. There is no bad blood at all. We love each other very much and talk on a daily basis. We both just need a little time to ourselves right now and I hope that everyone will respect our privacy."
"Is, uh,...Is your wife a goer, eh? Know whatahmean, know whatahmean, nudge nudge, know whatahmean, say no more?"
Evoloution is nothing but a wannabe Four Horseman. With Rick Flab...I mean Rick Flair.
I hope evolution dies soon.
Amen to that. Evolution has been around for way too long. Batista and Orton need to pursue singles careers, Flair needs to retire (the sky will fall when that happens though), and Triple H needs to start only pursuing the championship, no Eugene, no Michaels, no Kane, just 1 single storyline for him.
Triple H may retire soon he's getting old.Same goes for Rick Flair.
Thanks MKGEEK for the correction.Kane and Taker's best match was the inferno.Anyone remember when Taker lost earlier that same night and later dressed up as Kane to be a #1 contender for the belt?

If TNA turned into a WCW, and doesnt get bought out, then WWE will the raise the quality of the show cuz of the competiton, and not give SD PPV's just 3 hyped up matches out of an 8 match card!
DrFatality said it the best!

Official WWE RAW Preview:
From WWE.com:
Throughout its incredible 10-plus-year history, Monday Night RAW has featured some of the most unpredictable moments in sports-entertainment history. But this Monday night's show -- live from Winnipeg, Manitoba -- may just be the most unpredictable, the most outlandish, that we've ever seen.
General Manager Eric Bischoff is taking a vacation this Monday night, and he announced that he's handing over control on a one-week interim basis to his nephew, Eugene! That means Eugene will be calling the shots on RAW!
With just six days to go before Vengeance, absolutely anything -- and we really mean that -- could happen this Monday night on RAW.
And don't forget that Winnipeg is the place where Chris Jericho grew up. What will Y2J -- who will face Batista at Vengeance -- have in store for his hometown fans (and for Batista) this Monday night?
Christian's Return, Johnny Nitro:
Johnny Nitro was recently sent down to Ohio Valley Wrestling for a bit of seasoning. WWE management felt Nitro needed a bit more in-ring work before he gets exposed on national TV.
Christian is reportedly near ready for a return to RAW. He still has a few weeks to sit out before he is completely healthy again, though his back spasms have subsided greatly.
Garrison Cade Injury Update, A-Train's WWE Status, Big Show:
- Garrison Cade suffered a knee injury at the RAW house show on Friday. He worked on Saturday despite being in pain. We have been told he is not expected to miss much, if any in-ring time.
- A-Train remains out with a torn rotator cuff which is expected to keep him out until October.
- WWE.com has removed Big Show's bio, most likely to go along with the angle that he quit the company.

NoObSaIbOt777 Wrote: I think that TNA is much better than WWE. TNA has the X division, which is like uber-cruiserweight league. They have a ton of great pure athletes like AJ Styles, Jarret, Monty Brown, etc. And only a few have a gimmick, like Shark Boy, D-Ray, and Abyss. Meanwhile, WWE's wrestlers all have gimicks. I'd rather watch a cirus than WWE, because that's what it basically is now. TNA only has a few gimmicky wrestlers to add some color to their show. WWE just went overboard. |
Your own personal unbiased opinion, but you forgot to mention the many WWE rejects in that promotion. Nearly their entire roster is made up of former WWE superstars who couldn't make it in the WWE because the can't wrestle a lick, are now in TNA where they still can't wrestle worth a shit.

Chris Jericho Update; & More Notes:
Kronik has opened a new website at totally-kronik.com. The team is no longer wrestling and have retired.
The Winnipeg Sun interviewed Chris Jericho this weekend. In the interview, Jericho mentioned that he has never missed a wrestling match because of injury. He attributes some of that drive to growing up in Winnipeg where the cold weather "adds to a person's constitution". He also comments on receiving a key to the city by Winnipeg mayor Sam Katz. You can read the interview at: http://www.canoe.ca
Katie Vick Returns, Dawn Marie, Ric Flair; & More WWE News:
Ric Flair's tour to support his new book "To Be The Man" will begin this week in New York City.
Dawn Marie will be a part of the tenth anniversary edition DVD of Kevin Smith's film Clerks. She plays a small part in a fantasy segment during the movie. There is also a great photo of Dawn over at WWE.com under their 'photo of the day'.
The Katie Vick outfit from one of the Triple H segments is now up for bidding at WWE's auction site. Wow. (LMMFAO!!!)
The WWE show scheduled for Saturday October 9th in Nottingham UK has been rescheduled for the Monday following (11th).
Backstage WWE News: John Cena, The Undertaker, Kenzo Suzuki:
- John Cena's "poop" promo against Kenzo Suzuki was written by Brian Gerwirtz. Gerwirtz is one of McMahon's favorite writers and McMahon is a big fan of "poop" jokes, so that explains that.
- The Undertaker pushed to cut out any sort of waiting period on TV as to whether he would be a heel or face. That is why the angle played out how it did yesterday.
- While everyone realizes that Kenzo Suzuki is coming off very green in the ring, he has fit in well backstage and is liked by everyone. His wife is also fitting in well backstage.
Trish Stratus Out One Month?; WWE/Efeds:
- Trish Stratus will not be able to wrestle for at least another month due to a broken hand.
- WWE has started to go after online "efeds" for copyright infringement. Word is that WWE is now planning to launch their own "fantasy federation" which is why they are closing down as many independent ones as possible.
