TNA sent Brooke Adams to us to get trained and she's has been with us for the last couple of months she's pretty cool but she's really short to.
And we have Bobo Brazil Jr. coming in to do a show with us this weekend which is pretty cool.
Also i'm in the process of getting my ring gear which I can't wait for.

Make sure you get a pic of your gear on here man, I'd like to see it.
Well looks like the Jericho dvd match listing going around online is bullshit (thank God). This may also be bullshit but now there's a rumor that there's at least one match from Japan, namely Jericho vs Ultimo Dragon.

Has anyone checked out Evolve yet? It's a new indie promotion that borrows some ideas and concepts from MMA, namely UFC. They take the win-loss records very seriously, the shows are named after the main events, etc. It's cool and well done, I really enjoyed the first main event which was Kota Ibushi vs Davey Richards, two of my favorite indie guys right now.

Swagger using the Ankle Lock is awesome. So what if he is like Angle? Ain't nothing wrong with that imo

You musta meant Shooto, dawg, 'cause UFC's booking is about as hokey as TNA's. Seriously though, I'm a fan of the concept behind Evolve. But I don't like most of the talent they use. I remember when it was first announced and Gabe was talking quite seriously of it, and the only name was Richards to start with. Everyone speculated it was going to be the first real crack at a US shoot style promotion. Then more and more talent announcements were made and that went out the window, but I kept an open mind even though I was lukewarm on some of the guys they announced considering they were trying to be a "serious" promotion (like Kenny Doane). Then Gabe invited Chikara guys and a bunch of other retards and made a joke of the entire concept so I laughed at it and stopped paying attention.
They've had some super talented guys come through there though; Hidaka, Sawa, Ibushi, etc. And they've had some really good matches here and there. But I'm not interested in watching their stuff if I'm going to have to put up with fucking Ricochet and Jigsaw and Arik Cannon when I could just be watching a show I actually enjoy from top to bottom. I hope it does well though; I'd rather Evolve take ROH's place and ROH just die. If turned out to just be ROH with less non-finishes and character heavy rubbish, that'd be a drastic improvement.
So, yeah; good idea, but not a fan of how they've executed it.
Also you know Davey Richards is retired now right?
Last I heard he was considering retiring to just become a firefighter but I didn't know it was official yet. I'm seriously hoping you're wrong, I'm a huge fan it would be such a waste if a guy with his talent decided to stiff kick forest fires instead.
I agree with you for the most part as far as Evolve goes. I skip nearly all matches which is frustrating.

Another thing I really like about season 2 is that it's far more unpredictable as far as who's going to win it. Season 1 was clear from the start that it either going to be Danielson or Barrett. Skip Sheffield, Darren Young, Heath Slater and David Otunga were clearly not going to win the competition.
Right now, I have NO IDEA who's going to win season 2. Might be Kaval, might be Riley, might be Hennig...

My only problems with Swagger are his lisp and the fact that he's to main event status already...He's a good wrestler, has the WWE build and all, but i just think they threw him into a title run a little too quickly. You gotta build up a bit to it. When Edge cashed in the MITB case the frist time, he had built uo IMMENSE heat before hand. RVD announced when he was cashing his in, and engaged in a HUGE fued leading up to the match...Swagger just kinda...got it...
I would say it they had waited like...a month or so, it would have been a good time...I just think they threw him to the dogs...It'd be like taking someone like Drew McIntyre (who, i'm a huge fan of) and just throwing him into a title match...he's not over enough, and at this point he's rather bland... My point it, give it more time...Swagger's part of the future

Swagger will be great, I'm sure.
Nothing will ever top Edge's first cash in. The man had been with the company for many years and had basically won everything except for the WWE title, and he was a fresh face as a main event heel since he had been a midcard babyface for a long time.
Just realized Danielson will be in EVOLVE. I just hope he's not wrestling the likes of Chris Hero. Danielson vs Kota Ibushi would rock my balls, that's for sure.

Apparently, a few days ago at a CHIKARA event in Detroit, Bryan Danielson came out to "Wild and Young", the NXT theme song, and was met with fans throwing Ties into the ring like streamers...

yeah Swagger's here to stay, but that's not going to change my opinion on him. i agree with everything u said. he was rushed to soon to main-event status, and as such lost the title already. he's good in the ring, i'm not denying his skills, i just don't think he's all that great other wise.
he needs to work on his promos, they go on way too damn long and he's boring

They could always push... what's that other guy? He's sort of like Edge but not quite, I can't seem to remember!

Curt Hawkins?
or Zack Ryder...?
Both Hawkins and Ryder lost their chance after the Edge angle. It was their chance and they blew it. They have now been given awful gimmicks that will get them nowhere and don't have nearly enough charisma to pull any heat right now.

Well guys Wrestling Portugal's latest show is now online. I'm really proud of the match I had on this show, it's the opening match so if you'd like to check it out it's available here for streaming.
On WP 7: Bammer vs Guerra, I wrestle David "Cougar" Batista on the opening match of the show.
WP 7: Bammer vs. Guerra
Thanks to anyone who checks it out

Nice match man.
The chain in the begining was cool.
Nice filp to the outside that Couger did that's a thing I don't like is catching people to the outside. I almost got knocked out once catching someone.
Really nice belly to belly.
The finish was cool. Over all really good match.
Some nice stuff in there
A thing I noticed is you guys hit the ropes diffrent then us.
How we do it is as soon as we hit the rope we put are left leg up.
Just curious what where you guys saying in your promos?

You're a cheater. You disgust me!
Btw, the 14th minute lock was really good, even though it took you a while to get it well hooked.
Thanks guys for checking out.
We do really like chain wrestling especially because it's so easy to call in the ring, and we don't often get the chance since usually we aren't given a lot of time for our taped matches. We were given 15 minutes for that match though, so we decided to enjoy ourselves with a few holds and reversals.
You have to get a good technique for catching people on the outside. I almost broke a finger one of the first times I did it, but I figured out a safe way to do it, so now it's really no big deal and the bump is worth the pop.
As far as hitting the ropes, you're right that's the way it's supposed to be done and it's the way we do it in drills. I only hit the ropes a couple of times in the match and you can see I put my leg up. The one time I didn't put my leg up was so Cougar could do that leg sweep spot. I'd never noticed that Cougar never really gets his legs up though, good call.
As far as the UFC style promos, we were basically talking about our feud so far. Cougar beat me in the finals of a major tournament last year. The show after that, I sneak attacked him and hit him with my finisher twice. The match on this show is the rematch from the tournament final, we basically just say it's personal now.
Shyriu, that is a great hold! The only good thing about Super Dragon, so I had to steal it from him.
As far as cheating goes... If you're not cheating, you're not trying
Thanks again for the feedback guys I really appreciate it.
