this goes to show how stupid Dixie Carter is getting:
--TNA President Dixie Carter recently talked about TNA trying to compete with WWE and Vince McMahon. "There’s been a lot of issues. They don’t miss an opportunity to try to shut us down, but that just makes us more tenacious and stronger willed. Have at it. Go for it. We’re ready and we’ll face whatever we need to."
when has WWE ever gone on record as trying to shut TNA down? hell they don't even view TNA as a threat. Vince even says so:
-- The Acorn Online (http://www.acorn-online.com/) interviewed Vince McMahon to discuss WresteMania. The piece also included McMahon discussing TNA, here is what he had to say...
"We're in different businesses. We're in the entertainment business and they're in the ‘pro wrasslin' business. It's different markets. When they moved to Monday nights they threw the kitchen sink at us and only did a fraction of our audience. It doesn't speak well for the type of product they're trying to present with the tawdry, blood-soaked action. I don't think that's what the culture wants these days."

wtf u talking about, WCW was a threat to WWE. u don't remember the Monday Night Wars?
and yeah, i've no doubt that if Vince had the chance he'd take TNA, but why they hell would he? what's TNA got the Vince would want, aside from a few washed up hasbeens and a few never was' and never will bes
WCW wasn't a threat at the time, no, but they were at one time is the point. WCW also had market value, Vince was able to turn his purchase of his rival into a storyline, bring over a lot of wrestlers people wanted to see in WWE. WCW also had a vast history, Vince bought a lot more than just the current state of the company. He bought all the rights to old WCW. You can't seriously tell me you're going to compare TNA with the history of WCW.
TNA just doesn't have that value. It doesn't have the fanbase, and it doesn't have the pop culture behind it. It's never been a threat to WWE, it's never competed, and there's no "Oh man I want to see Styles vs. Cena" allure or anything. TNA would not be worth buying honestly, I see no sense in it.

wrestlemania was awesome. Taker vs. HBK, Mysterio vs. CM Punk, Jericho vs. Edge, the MitB match, loved it all. Didn't need that weird Diva's match though.

Well Wrestlemania was really fun yesterday.
I really enjoyed Raw today and it sad to see Shawn Michaels go he is easily one of the best wrestlers of all time and he will be missed.

Vince McMahon's evil "Mr. McMahon" character is said to be finished, according to a backstage source.
The character was spawned back in 1997 following the infamous Montreal Screwjob. McMahon's on-air character turned heel for the first time and it became the antagonist to the company's top star "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in arguably the best run in the history of the company.
With Bret Hart's return to WWE after 13 years, McMahon felt WrestleMania would be the perfect chance for Bret Hart to get his ultimate revenge and wipe out Mr. McMahon once and for all. The over-the-top beatdown he sustained at the hands (and feet) of the Hart family signified the end of the character.
McMahon is a firm believer in pushing younger acts and is not blind to the fact that he's in his 60's and the character more than ran its course.

Here are some more details on Chris 'Kanyon' Klucsaritis' death:
-- It appears as though he passed away from an overdose of pills.
-- Klucsaritis' death is believed to be a suicide.
-- He was at his apartment in the Sunnyside section of Queens, NY.
-- A pill bottle and several notes were found close to the body.
-- He had been open about suffering from a bipolar disorder and had talked and threatened suicide many times in the past.
-- According to a friend, he had once again been suffering from a bout of depression. On Monday of this past week, he had again talked about taking his own life. As sad as this sounds, it was not out of the ordinary to hear him talk about suicide.
-- He was just 40 years old.
-- Although he retired from wresting at one point, he had returned to the ring again recently and worked a couple of matches this year.
