Unfortunately the world has been lusting after blood for many many years now. Think back to the Roman collisium days when people were actually killed for entertainment.

Its something that mankind has had in its heart for years, to see pain and agony and to cheer it on.

Can't say that I like it, in fact, I hate it. This generation is a "brood of vipers"

turn him heel, no, that would be stupid as hell, moving him to Raw, would be the best move, cause i agree, how many more damn times must we watch him wrestle the same guys over again? fuck Taker's been stuck on the shit show for the last 4 years, it's time to move him to Raw for more exciting feuds

Taker's home should have always been RAW. Taker's surprise appearances work much better on a live show than on a taped one...
They can't (and shouldn't) turn him heel now though.
He still has to feud Umaga, probably for a Mania match. And then on RAW he could feud with Snitsky, William Regal, CM Punk, Mike Knox, Chris Jericho, perhaps reignite his feud with Randy Orton, or HBK or Batista.

I'm still waiting for the old Shawn Michaels vs. Taker rivalry coming back.... no one but a few guys on Smackdown are decent to have him fued, but unfortuantely with the way the industry is going, fueds these days aren't as entertaining to me as they were back in 2000 when I started watching wrestling again.

But as you said, Taker has been fighting the same people over and over again, it's pointless to have him fued with Edge again as he was the last person to fight Edge before he took time off to heal some minor injuries and did some other things.

Triple H IMO, makes a horrible opponent in a fued against Taker. I've never enjoyed the fueds Triple H has been in lately because they all suck. Back when Triple H was a badass heel during 2002-2006 (Or whenever DX came back I forgot the year) he was one of the coolest heels to go up against. But now, he's just in so many stupid fueds against wrestlers that can't match up with his hype. Such as Jeff and the Russian dude who I'm not even gonna bother looking up his name on how to spell it.

Jeff Hardy vs Taker is stupid, enough said.

Then you have Big Show which is already happening, Umaga who's still out on injury and his fueds are pathetic to watch. Kahli doesn't make things any better, and the rest are nobodies who will be like Shelton Benjamin, you have the tendency to be a great wrestler, but when its time to get your career started by going after the big titles, it'll never happen.

So that's basically the reason why Taker should go to Raw. I know I'm missing some key elements, but this is all I can think of.

Think about it:

Taker vs. Jericho
Taker vs. JBL
Taker vs. Michaels
Taker vs. (I hate to say it) Cena
Taker vs. Kane (And bring back the non-retarded Kane)
Taker vs. Mysterio

Jesus, does the list need to continue? Because I'm pretty sure that majority of you guys, and I know you all have, gotten the picture already in your minds. Yeah, my fingers hurt fromy typing. I'm done.

If they're not entertained enough by the entertainment you're providing them then that's their problem. You don't go see a stage show and start demanding that people act a different script halfway through it because the story they're telling is boring to you. In case you haven't figured it out yet, in wrestling, you're supposed to suspend disbelief. If some kid in an ROH shirt went to a TNA house show in Bumfuck Iowa and got in Scott Steiner's face as he walked past about he sucks as a wrestler because his ring psychology is poor, Steiner would probably deck him.

Honestly, Taker/Umaga at Mania doesn't sound like much of a money match to me(then again neither did his match with Henry). I'm with the majority on this believe it or not. I want Taker on raw if for nothing else but fresh opponents. He's the only big name that has yet to be traded in a draft and it's just becoming incredibly stale.

How is a stage show the same as a wrestling show?
You're totally wrong, if you're a wrestler and the crowd you're being paid to entertain isn't entertained, that's YOUR problem, because it's YOUR job. How is it the crowd's problem...?
The magic of pro wrestling comes from changing your style and improvising to appease the different crowds that exist throughout the world. It's not about being a rigid, close-minded asshole who says ''fuck everyone else'' if someone disagrees with him.

Obviously we're not going to agree here, so lets just end this conversation and to each his own. I want to be a wrestler who can entertain the crowds who paid to see a show, you want to be a wrestler who does his thing and fuck the world if they don't like it.

I want to be a fan who doesn't start smart mark chants during live shows like a fucking nuisance.

I bet if I went to one of your matches and sat in the front row yelling at you for not selling your leg better, having poor armdrag execution, not having a high enough workrate, displaying inadequate ring psychology, etc, while everyone else around me was just trying to enjoy the show, you'd be pissed.

Also coincidently I was just reading this old Danielson interview right now on socaluncensored.com where he was asked the question "when you wrestle, what do you hope fans will take away when they see the American Dragon wrestle?"

Danielson: You know what? I really don't think about that. Right now, I honestly don't care what fans think about. I know that sounds awful, but a lot of them just come to ridicule wrestlers, and so what I try to do when I wrestle is to just improve what I can do. I have had great matches where the fans don't care and I have had awful matches that the fans just pop huge for. So the difference between the two is that these fans come in and pay to have a good time. They don't pay to heckle ya. I just go out there and work on the stuff I feel I need to work on. If the fans like it, that's great. But if they don't, well... I'm sorry but I'm not going to do a bunch of head drops just to get a "Dragon" chant.

I don't know if that has any relevance to my point (that smark chants are disrespectful, annoying, and pointless because nobody wants to hear them and nobody listens to them,) but what Danielson said actually seems like a stark contrast to your view that you should always listen to what the fans want you to do.

Technically, I don't think Zent would get pissed, he'd just ignore you like wreslters normally do when they're out of the ring and right in front of the crowds who hate them.

It's one thing to have a bunch of internet smartasses trying to sound intelligent by yelling smark stuff.

It's another to have a WWE crowd chant boring... They're chanting boring because they're not entertained and they're the customers... Of course it's not their problem that they're not being given what they expected. They paid to see the show. And it's the wrestler's job to entertain the crowd.

I absolutely agree with Danielson, but you shouldn't disregard an entire crowd because of a few assholes. Ignoring the assholes, yeah of course that makes sense. But you're supposed to work the crowd, not do whatever the hell you want. Because then you're not entertaining the crowd, you're not doing your job, you're not getting people to come back and see more shows and pay more money, you're not doing good business.

What exactly do you percieve as being the job of a wrestler?

I just feel the wwe audiance doesn't really know real wrestling.
They are perfectly fine with Jeff Hardy doin his flips and stuff and would rather him do thoes then someone like Regal or Jamie Noble dish out some great wrestling that's how I feel.

It's not ''great wrestling'' for the WWE target. That's why the WWE style is so different from say, an ROH style or Puroresu.

That's one of the reasons I stoped watchin wwe tho cause the fact they have changed.

A lot of the wrestling is unwatchable tho look at these women matches they are terrible and the wwe audiance thinks it's ok or good which is far from it.

I understand that the wwe has a diffrent style but most of the time it's not good wrestling period.

That's the problem, they think they're paying customers rather than fans because they have no respect for kayfabe. They're not there to watch what happens, they're there with the expectation they're going to be served adaquate entertainment to their liking. Like it's a restaurant or something.

A pro wrestler's job in North America is to entertain the crowd by wrestling; the wrestling itself tells the story of a match. If people don't want to go see a wrestling match and watch the wrestlers tell the story they're trying to tell, why did they buy a ticket? What, for example, did people expect a crippled Triple H and a completely green Vladimir Kozlov to do in a non gimmick match? Moonsaults and ladder spots? They wrestled. They were trying to get their story over. That's pro wrestling. But these dipshits wern't giving Triple H and Kozlov a chance to tell their story because they didn't want to see a story. Should Triple H and Kozlov have just abandoned that story halfway through their match and hit a bunch of retarded highspots?

Well apparently yes. Because that would have been less "boring" so the fans would have been happier, therefore the wrestlers would have been doing "their job" of "entertaining" better, which would make them better wrestlers. Sabu then is obviously a considerably better wrestler than Chris Jericho, right? lol.

The bottom line is that "boring" chants are an acknowledgement that wrestling is a work, and that the workers aren't living up to your entertainment expectations. That's as much of a smark chant as you can get. And anyone who does that is a fucking idiot.

Right. Well I had already suggested we considered this debate finished, and you taking what I say out of context and put words in my mouth isn't really a big incentive for me to keep this up so lets leave it at where it is.
