Cena isn't very good, but he is putting asses in seats at the moment. I could do without him to be honest, but WWE is smart to push him.


Has anyone been watching TNA lately? Kurt Angle is sort of ruining it for me.

Here's the thing, though: The WWE is the single biggest wrestling company in the world. If he's so sucessful there, I don't see what he should worry about.

Cena should worry about how a lot of fans are getting tired of him. He does get more boos than most faces should, and sometimes entire crowds turn on him. Especially when he is facing people worth a damn (Edge, HBK, HHH, RVD.) The fans weren't supposed to be happy when Edge cashed in the Money in the Bank case on him, and "stole the damn title." However, fans were cheering it wildly. I just don't think WWE is going in the right direction with his character, and I know a lot of people feel the same way... and his wrestling talent does leave much to be desired.

Yes, the problem with Cena is that he doesn't appeal to some of the fans, but he's still a major babyface and a major merchandise seller.

The Cena argument is pointless, we should all just drop it... forever :P

Anyways.... does anyone think Edge stands a chance of winning at SS?

Yes.

I honestly think that only kids and women are the ones buying into the whole Cena thing in the first place.

Can he sell yes, can he build a story yes.

Is he boring yes, is he limited yes.

Could that be Shawn Michaels and Big Daddy cool Diesel?? ha

BTW, adding to the Cena discussion, way more people than you would think love Cena. He's not a bad wrestler though, and he's a damn good brawler. Sheesh, it's not like he's Giant Gonzales or something.

But he's also no American Dragon.

If you want tremendous chain wrestling, watch Danielson. If you want good brawling and silly promos, watch John Cena. It's that simple.

Dragon can do that to.

OK, Cena isn't Danielson. My point is, he still has many fans, in all walks of life. Trust me, he has way more fans than you think.

I'm sick of defending Cena, I'm not a huge fan of him either.

I know he has a lot of fans which makes me sick.

Cena's good for only 5 moves per match, then his usefulness is at an end.

And Lately, TNA has been no better...
