Big Show is now pursuing boxing.

I feel sorry for tyson, man thats alot of ear lol.
Finally a giant makes sense! I've always thought that these huge guys like Big Show and Khali should really be getting into MMA and shootfighting sports. They're freaking giants, who's going to stop beat them!? Great for the Big Show, I'm sure he'll kick alot of ass.

No, he would likely be crushed in mma. If you watch mma much you know that the very oversized guys (over 350 pounds) don't usualy stand to long. They usualy end up on the ground and then they are doomed. They have had a few other huuuge guys in the UFC and Pride ( a couple over 500 pounders) and they have never lasted more than a couple minutes in the ring/octagon. The problem is not that they are slow, but that they can't handle the submission holds and ground grappling positions nescesary to win. If you wonder who would beat him, the answer would be this guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fedor_Emelianenko
He's a monster in the ring. Bug show might be ok in boxing but not in mma

No hard feelings man. I like to rant and rave myself, hell, look at the last 400+ pages and you'll see there were times I myself needed the meds!! LOL!
Any way gnrlies1992, TNA Impact was on Fox SportsNet or something like that, a Fox affiliate, not "FOX". So they're now trying to get on Fox itself, which, I also think would be a bad move, even though alot on Fox is uncensored, I think they should stay on Spike. Can't wait to see what happens later this year with them, I actually want TNA to succeed even thought they're light years behind WWE.

i hope TNA does become the next WCW. Bring in the Luchadors, The next nWo, and some great tag team action, and then TNA will be a great competitor for WWE. Sure, it will take a while, but it might (and i hope it will) happen

Funny you should mention NWO, the WWE owns the copyright of the NWO, so that's out, but I read an issue of PWI (google it), and it stated that if Big Show, Heyman, RVD, and Sabu moved to TNA, maybe Heyman would lead a sorta verision of NWO, called NWX (New World Extreme), to rub it in the face of McMahon.

I knew that WWe owns nWo, but that is a good idea. I could see that happening too. I was thinking more like Havng Faces turn heel, beat on the former bad guys/good guys.
Maybe Even Bring in Hogan to start it! that would REALLY piss vince off. Have him grab a bad guys tag team, and then go from there.
Siang, OVW is crap. That's my advice.
Anyways, regarding TNA, as I have already stated many times, I'm crossing my fingers for them to succeed and become WWE's competition. It was recently reported that TNA might have actually turned a profit recently, which I guess is a huge step for a company that has never turned a profit.
They're starting to get some of it - Allowing Angle to win the IWGP strap, making him a double champion, basically means they've got the strongest world champ right now. Giving the title to Christian and not making him lose it the next month was good, it means they're starting to understand that the world title is supposed to be valuable and title reigns should therefore be long. Pushing their homegrown talent is also something that is starting to show more, unfortunately they don't get what talent to push. Chris Harris!? What the fuck. Here's to hoping they'll turn AJ phenomenally babyface once again soon, and Chris Daniels a heel in the X Division.
Now I'm reading that there are plans to put the title on Jarret soon. I hope it's just very false rumors.
Anyway, now regarding ROH, did anyone catch the pay per view? Was it any good? I thought the card was pretty mediocre.

AJ used too be a good wrestler, now that hes heel he sucks. Daniels is just weird. It would be great if TNA could compete with WWE much WWE has been around longer, and has a much bigger fanbase.

I think aj as a shitty lackey heel actually kinda funny, haha. I've enjoyed his character - granted, i haven't seen it every thursday for the past few months.
Regarding giants in mma? Heh, Giant Silva isn't what you'd call a world class MMA'er, lol. Though, his wrastln' match with Kahli in japan isn't what youd call top class, either. I still think he's a great draw, though.

I felt so bad for giant silva after that fight, seriously.
I was watching the PPV with my cousins and we were all like wtf, why is he STILL fighting? Before the match he was all like "I don't want to break my foot, my foot is special to me.." I was like wtf?
Grabbing his cheeck all degected...just sad. He's like the gentle giant that just goes out there, gets his ass handed to him and takes home a little green just so the japanese fans can get a good laugh.
And against Minowa? They love him but he's a C level fighter at best...just not good for GS's ego...he seems so fragile as it is.
Though, I guess if i got paid a six digit purse, it'd be pretty tempting to just go in there and get ktfo'd, lol. Then get some little japanese hussy who feels bad for you to love you long time, so no worries i guess.

Yup, so true, I wouldn't even waste time on OVW, or Deep South, which actually airs on The Fight Network in Canada. Any way, I missed the ROH ppv, obviously wasn't available in Canada, which is bullshit, imo. When did Angle win the IWGP Championship? See, this is what happens by not having access to Japanese wrestling!

Two main events have been scheduled for this month’s Great American Bash pay-per-view. As of right now WWE Champion John Cena will face Bobby Lashley and WWE World Champion Edge will take on Rey Mysterio. This will of course be Rey Mysterio’s Return match.
The Great American Bash will be on July 22nd at the HP Pavilion Arena in San Jose, California.
Retarded News:
** Source - Wrestling Observer Newsletter **
As most know by now WWE has scrapped the Vince McMahon “death” angle stemming from the tragedy of the Benoit family last week.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter the plan was to have Vince return this summer claiming that he faked his own death. He was then going to reveal an accomplice with several names being mentioned for the role. Mr. Kennedy was a top candidate for the role as WWE wanted to build a monster heel character off the storyline.
The June 25th edition of RAW (which ended up being a Chris Benoit tribute show) was scheduled to be a memorial service for Vince. WWE brought in a casket, flowers, candles, and pictures of the Chairman. All of the talent was told to wear a black suit for the evening. The show was suppose to end with a cliff hanger with the lead detective (“Mr. Beck”) making an arrest of the fake culprit, which would later turn out to be Linda McMahon.

I missed some of it but...
Booker T faced Val Venis in a match and Booker T (or King Bookah) beat Val in like, around 4 minutes I think and set the time. Then Kennedy went against Super Crazy...and Super Crazy actually won. Then Lashely and Cena started talking in the ring. Bookah and Ken interupted it, they started fighting, both got throw out the ring. But when Cena turned his back after they were both out the ring (Ken and Bookah) Lashely speared Cena! YEAH! I'm hoping Lashely beats Cena when they have their match.

Everyone is totally sick of cena at this point. The only reason he has a job is because of his figure. If he wasn't as big as he is right now, he would have no career. I think it's retarded that he, a dude who at the time had been in the biz for a year or two, got a heveyweight title push before REY MYSTERIO DID!
Hell, MIZ could out-wrestle Cena. He has to be the worst technicion since....since This guy:

He has A (as in 1) hold, and thats it. He has 5 wrestling moves. The rest is all brawling. I don't see why people love him so much.
0
I agree completetly, I just wanted to let you say it. I don't want to steal your thunder
I mean I can kinda see why some people would like him, and (IMO) it is the same reason that some people like boy bands. There is no acounting for taste, but there sure is for talent, and in that depratement.......he fails terribly.
Agree, Cena is terrible. Don't get why people cheer for him. In OVW he was given a cyborg or 'prototype' gimmick because of how he wrestled and didn't really sell.
As for OVW, if you've seen it for more than 3minutes you will know at times it is superior to the wwe. To see a world where gimmicks as bad as the spirit squad don't exist. Jeter was the next Y2J, the HeartBreakers had a gimmick which actually put them over, Paul 'The Ripper' Burchill dominates, while Aaron 'The Idol' Stevens is very reminiscent of a young Triple H, and is that good on the microphone.
WWE would be nothing without OVW.
As for TNA, the X-Division is good but the company is just a WCW rip off as far as I am concerned.
