i was a warrior mark growing up...hell who wasn't? however, now that i look back, i wonder what the hell i must've been smoking. j.r. described it best on the warrior dvd. the entrance was great, a lot of excitement. then once it came down to the actual match, it was just garbage. all sizzle, no steak was how i believe he put it. those matches do however make me respect (even more than i had) guys like rick rude, who were able to make the man look better then he actually was.
the whole nwo thing was.....a mediocre time in wrestling imo. turning hogan heal was indeed a novel stretch that did pack a punch at first, later on it just fell flat. the fake sting, the rediculous amount of members, the wolf pac, the souled out ppv, blah blah, i could go on and on but i grow sick the more i go on.
scott steiner is in intensive care after emergency surgery. he is listed as stable and is being kept in i.c.u. for observational purposes.
and before i go, i was just at wwe.com reading the where are they now stories. i happened to come to tugboat's story in which they talk momentarily about the SHOCK MASTER disaster. god i had forgotten all about that....one of the funniest things i've ever seen.

That was the match of the night, and that's not saying much considering the rest of the show sucked, imo.

Tell me, who won that. I'm hoping James won.
Well just got back from RAW. It was total and absolute garbage. Smackdown! was far better.
Show opened with Kenny Dykstra doing the job to Chuck Palumbo in a shitty, very short match. It's such a damn shame what they're doing to Dykstra. Palumbo never reacted to us, not even to billy and chuck chants.
We then got Chris Masters versus Eugene. Masters was the coolest guy of the night, reacting to everything we did. We chanted very loud STEROIDS chants at him, and he played it off for a while, showing off his body. This happened several times during the match. We also did chants of ''Chris is Gay'' which got a good heel reaction aswell. And last but not least, we showed him a ''THANK YOU CHRIS'' sign that we had made for Benoit. He looked really confused at it.
World tag team title match: Cade and Murdoch vs Cryme Tyme. CRAP. Cade and Murdoch reacted pretty well to our ''Brokeback Mountain'' chants, but other than that... dog shit.
From this point on... total shit. No one ever reacted to our chants, Mickie James disapointed us by not reacting to ''ROH'' chants, there were no promos, no angles, no cheap pops like coming out with the portuguese flag, no post show celebration or promo, nothing. The only positive things were Orton beating Jeff Hardy, and Santino Marella had some chemistry with Johnny Dont Call me Monday Nitro. Also, my ''FUCK U CENA'' sign got censored in the middle of the show. They told me I'd have to stop flashing it or they'd take it away.
Crap show.

This past Saturday’s edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event did a 2.2 broadcast rating with a 5.0 share. This number is way down from Saturday Night Live which normally airs in this timeslot.
This is why NBC moved the show to late night because they predicted a low rating. It also didn’t help that the show was taped almost a week before the air date.
Also,
*more breking news*
It looks like "Hurricane Steph" has claimed two more victims. It's just coming out that WWE (with Stephanie McMahon more than likely behind the moves), quietly released two talents within the past week. Their names haven't been reported yet, but they should be coming out within the next few days. Considering that WWE hasn't announced anything regarding a release within the last few days, it probably wasn't anyone from the main three rosters. The individuals in question were likely from developmental, or perhaps it was someone sitting on the sidelines (i.e. Henry O. Godwinn, Rob Conway, Too Cold Scorpio, Nick Mitchell) and not on the main roster. Or perhaps it was someone from behind-the-scenes. We'll keep you posted on the names and stories behind them when they finally come out. There is said to be a "hilarious" story behind one of the firings.

The best part was the 3 man tag team with Jimmy Wang Yang teamed with Paul London and Brian Kendrick against the cruiser weight champ, and 2 other guys who i can't remember. Jimmy flew over the ropes and took out Chavo's partners, while Chavo was about to throw Kendrick off the top rope when London came, and the two of them did a double slam on Chavo, and then pinned him, winning the match...
and Mark Henry basically killed little Boogyman after his match with Boogyman. I hate Henry he's a fag. And Chris Benoit was beating the shit out of Edge, but Edge came back to win, but I think the Rabid Wolverine did the better performance.

Sounds like a worthless night

Thanks.
It's probably gonna be Rob Conway, I havn't seen him wrestle in a long time.

Thats cause he "QUIT" remember. obsessedwithwrestling lists him, sylvan, and Dupree under "Inactive" under smackdown
Went to the second house show. and it was much better (but still crap). It featured the main event I really wanted to see: Orton vs Cena. It was a good match, went on for a pretty long time. It also featured everything: Fighting in the crowd, STFU, RKO, FU, Orton's backbreaker... Also, it was good to see alot of Pro-Randy stuff. There were alot of people in the arena that wanted to see Orton beat Cena that night.
Anyway, the show opened up with Kenny Dykstra doing the job for Eugene. I'm so sad for Kenny, he should be getting a push but instead is jobbing to EUGENE. Ok match but nothing good...
Then, much to my surprise, Chuck Palumbo beat Chris Masters, clean! Masters was pretty over, he got a pop, and so did the masterlock. People seem to like him here in Portugal. I guess it didn't help that nobody gave a shit about Chuck Palumbo.
Johnny Nitro beat Val Venis in one of the only decent matches of the tour.
Melina defended the title agaisnt mickie james in an ok women's match.
Santino Marella beat Carlito with a bridge pin. Carlito (just like Masters) was over as a babyface. There were carlito chants. Santino was also surprisingly over too, though.
Candice gave out t-shirts and Victoria interrupted her, cut a ''shoot'' on her, talking about how Candice is just a playboy model and already has had title shots. Candice flipped and attacked Victoria, but not before the former Women's champion turned to the crowd and cried out ''BEIJEM-ME O CU'' and ''CALA-TE'', which mean KISS MY ASS and SHUT UP in Portuguese. Just like Kennedy last year.
Cryme Tyme came out to a decent face reaction although there were some boos. Then, the great Khali came out for the handicap match and got one fuck of a pop. There were also ''KHALI'' chants during the match! Khali won, of course.
Afterwards, Ric Flair teamed up with Jeff Hardy to face Cade and Murdoch, and win! Of course, the titles werent on the line which made us feel kinda ripped off on that match.
And then came the Orton vs Cena main event which I already discussed.
--
Biggest pops of the night:
1 - Jeff Hardy
2 - Cena
3- Ric Flair
4- Khali
5 - a Eugene wristlock reversal to Dykstra
Most heat of the night:
1 - Johnny Nitro
2 - Melina
3- Cade and Murdoch
4- Kenny
5 - Cryme Tyme

CZW is far more pitiful. CZW is an insult to pro wrestling, and it's pretty much garbage.
Oh, and Rob Conway was released earlier this year, so he's already done with.
lol dont try to put away fire with gas, brother... I fucking hate backyward wrestling.
But, on a different subject, something that I do very much like, is our new RING :D which has finally arrived! Damn it was hard putting it together though, it's gonna be a bitch taking it apart and putting it back together again everytime we want to run a show, but it's gonna be worth it. It's absolutely beautiful and it took us so much work and such a long time to finally get it...
If you guys want to see the video of Portugal's second ever pro wrestling ring (and one of Europe's three rings that are this big) being put together and proudly shown off by the crew that's going to change pro wrestling in this country, feel free to check it out here:
http://www.wrestlingportugal.com/site/news.php
Thanks to whoever takes the time to watch it. I'm very, very proud and I already have a match scheduled for the 30th of this month. Cant wait!

Former WWF superstar Sid Vicious is said to be in excellent shape and at the age of 46, is wanting to make another run in WWE.

There was some sort of incident backstage at Tuesday's SmackDown/ECW taping involving a number of indy wrestlers. John Laurinaitis yelled at them for coming into the catering area and helping themselves to food. That seems to be one of the many taboos within the WWE world. Furthermore, seeing how they were in Orlando on that night, there was a worker backstage who also helps out TNA with behind-the-scenes errands. Laurinaitis singled this person out by saying that WWE would never send their employees backstage to eat at TNA's catering. Although, that makes you wonder why they let someone affiliated with TNA backstage in the first place.
Former WCW star Ray "Glacier" Lloyd was backstage at the TV tapings this week.
The entire roster, everyone from all three brands, is scheduled to appear on this Monday's edition of Raw for the draft. It looks like they'll do what they did in 2004 when they assembled everyone on the WWE roster into one big room.
