Beth Phoenix is scheduled to make her return to WWE at this week's set of TV shows. However, there is no word yet on what brand she'll be a member of, or what her role will be. Phoenix did a photoshoot with other WWE Divas in Los Angeles two weeks ago, so they've had her return in mind for at least a few weeks.
Phoenix hasn't been seen in a WWE ring since the June 5, 2006 edition of Raw when she suffered a fractured mandible during a match with Victoria. The injury required surgery to place a titanium plate into her jaw, which forced her out of action for about two months. WWE then lost interest in using her and she's been in OVW ever since.

There was some sort of incident backstage at Tuesday's SmackDown/ECW taping involving a number of indy wrestlers. John Laurinaitis yelled at them for coming into the catering area and helping themselves to food. That seems to be one of the many taboos within the WWE world. Furthermore, seeing how they were in Orlando on that night, there was a worker backstage who also helps out TNA with behind-the-scenes errands. Laurinaitis singled this person out by saying that WWE would never send their employees backstage to eat at TNA's catering. Although, that makes you wonder why they let someone affiliated with TNA backstage in the first place.
Former WCW star Ray "Glacier" Lloyd was backstage at the TV tapings this week.
The entire roster, everyone from all three brands, is scheduled to appear on this Monday's edition of Raw for the draft. It looks like they'll do what they did in 2004 when they assembled everyone on the WWE roster into one big room.

Try whatever site you use to download music, usually there's lots of wrestling themes available on the one I use, Limewire, though, never came across Glacier's. I, personally thought Glacier was one of the worst characters in WCW, imo.

You TNA drones are annoying.
That was probably the best RAW in a very long time. "No real good action"? Please. A show with Benoit, Edge, MVP, Battle Royal and what has to be the coolest ending ever sucks? There's a point where you just have to admit to yourself you're never going to be pleased with anything WWE puts out because you don't want to be happy with the product.
Anyway, I personally found it pretty neat. Second coming of the Attitude era, maybe. Pretty good title match for RAW set up too... so long as Cena loses.

Don't get me wrong there were a few good mathes here and there, but the ending of the whole show just sucked. Vince dead? please!
Battle royal, not bad.
Benoit vs Lashley was terrible. No back and forth, just ground work, then a suplex then lashley dominated.
Cm Punk vs. Varlito was the best of the night. Lots of back and forth.
Then, we had the divas match, which was predictable
MVP vs. Santino was SOOO boring. if Santino would have won, i would have shot my TV.
Balls vs. Umaga was a pure peice of shit
Miz and snitsky, more shit
Jeff and Elija and Batista was an alright match, but the ending was unoriginal and boring
Then, the battle royal was, as i stated earlyer, ok.
So, yeah, on a scale of one to ten, 4 fror me. Just not enough to keep me satisfied. When the promo's are more action packed then most of the matches, you have a BIG problem
The draft picks were as followed:
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)

RVD probably wont go to TNA but I wouldnt really be surprised if he did.
Vince dying? Man this is one fuck of an angle, not even sure if I like it or not! They should work it right though and keep Vince off TV for like, three or five years and then have a huge evil boss comeback.

Well he would of died a very rich, and respected man, and they would of never filmed it. Bret Hart rules, he has his reasons to hate Vince.
The ending to me was predictable from the way Vince was behaving. All the signs of a suicidal man were there. Ironically, when Vince was walking to his limo/"coffin", I was joking with my cousin that shots would be heard & a splatter of blood would appear on the inside of the window. Then I joked that the limo would blow up with Vince inside. Right after I said that, boom!
well... i know it was staged and that you can tell in the back ground a difference... .ne ways... just wanted to share this tidbit of info from a site called timesleader.com

Vince McMahon’s hoax goes up in smoke
- 06/12/2007 02:40 PM
RORY SWEENEY
WILKES-BARRE TWP. – Did Vince McMahon, who’s bluffed and blustered his way into the ringmaster’s role of the testosterone-fueled soap opera that is professional wrestling, really fall for the old bomb-in-the-limo trick?
Though World Wrestling Entertainment would have you believe otherwise, the answer is no.
“No one was in any danger,” said Steve Poremba of Monday night’s WWE RAW spectacle at the Wachovia Arena, though he would not elaborate until WWE had sent out a news release.
Despite articles on the wrestling federation’s Web site that firefighters and federal agents are investigating, workers at the Luzerne County 911 Center confirmed that it was “a stunt” and that no emergency vehicles were called to the arena on Monday night.
FBI officials have not yet returned a call.
But fans from across the country have been contacting local media to confirm reports that McMahon, the chairman of the board of WWE, was blown up in a fiery limo-bombing on his very own “Mr. McMahon Appreciation Night,” which was televised on USA Network. McMahon had walked out of the building to the waiting vehicle, so fans inside the arena saw the same televised live scene.
Only it was wasn’t live. Supervised by Zenith Pyrotechnology, based in Deer Park, N.Y., the explosion was actually filmed at the arena late Saturday night, the footage of the burning hulk taped Sunday night and the whole mess spliced together, said Andy Kratz, the township’s zoning officer.
“They did it, I believe, at 11 o’clock at night until 3 a.m. so no one would be around,” he said, adding that it was done in a section generally blocked from public view by the building and surrounding land features.
The pyrotechnics company had to get permits, which Kratz said they did about a week ago. “We have pyrotechnics shows in the arena all the time” for wrestling and ice skating, among other things, he said. “They say they do this quite a bit,” but usually not outside.
Representatives of the pyrotechnics company have not returned calls for comment.
The stunt seems to be part of an ongoing story of McMahon’s spiral into insanity, which wwe.com has been supporting with repeated updates of the faux-bombing story.
“Over the last few weeks on WWE programming, the swaggering, well-off billionaire seemed to unravel right before the eyes of millions. ... Mr. McMahon even cited the looming of a “black cloud” last week – a cloud very similar to the post-combustive smoke that billowed above his limousine tonight,” the Web site reported. “The ominous reality is that what was brushed off as incoherent ramblings of a broken man and former ECW World Champion actually may have proven to be an exercising of a recently discovered sixth sense.”
WWE representatives have not yet returned a call for comment.

Vince McMahon’s hoax goes up in smoke

WTF, why did you post a spoiler? Any way, here's a little tidbit that I found concerning how the whole "angle" was done. BTW, yes, Bret Hart is an asshole, and should "get over it", but as someone said, he does have his reasons why he is the way he is.

Last night’s stunt with Vince McMahon being blown up in the limousine was actually filmed Sunday evening. WWE brought in an outside stunt company to come in and set the entire thing up. The stunt was planned over the last two weeks, with WWE having to obtain a few permits. When McMahon walked outside and got in the limo last night, it was live but they spliced the cable to show the taped footage. For fans coming out of the arena last night they had the burnt limo husk from the one used in the stunt on display. WWE.com is going along with the storyline that forensic experts are examining the limo for the remains of Mr. McMahon’s body. In other Vince news, the car bomb angle from Raw is being reported all over the place by minor news websites as if it were real. For those who are still unaware, it is just another fake wrestling storyline.
- The limo was blown up last night according to two separate e-mails. There had been some conflicting information that maybe this segment was taped the night before. However, two people claim that you could see the smoke coming from the limo last night. Several people have written in to say they saw Vince McMahon leaving in another limo after the show was over.

Yeah, I saw Scorpion in the car....
Anyways...
That was the worst draft ever! The only pick that actually effects the show is Bobby Lashley going to Raw. All the others were boring and stupid. I was hoping they'd send some of the good talent to Smackdown, but NO! They justh ave to take Kennedy away from Smackdown and put him on Raw. That is bullshit. And the Mr.Mcmahon "dying" in a car bombing is retarded! Atleast we wont be seeing his face around Raw anymore. They never had Mr.McMahon go to Smackdown and whenever he goes to a show, something cool, or exciting happens. They're treating Smackdown like shit and pretty soon it's gonna be shit. Drafting a few good superstars over to Smackdown would make WWE a better show.
I say get rid of ECW and take the talent from that and put em on Smackdown, and leave the crap wrestlers to go find something else to do with they're life. I haven't watched Smackdown at all this year cuz of how boring it is!

Yes, i have to agree with you. Unfortunately, they got there talent taken away and gained shitty wrestlers like masters and Khali. Smackdown's ratings have been fairly low since there move to friday and i think thats why it's getting treated like a C show. If they had there old time slot on thursdays back, not only would they get higher ratings, but they would also be shown on the smae night as there biggest competitor at this point (which would be TNA, despite how small of a threat it is right now). Kane should have been sent to raw, Randy should have gone back to smackdown, Kenndy should have stayed, Benoit should have stayed, CM should have been swiched, and ECW should have been buried.
all in all, the draft disappointed a lot of people. So, lets move on and let WWE shove more crap down our throats and make us like it.
