WWE Video Game news from TWNP News:

** According to IGN.com, THQ announced it would release WWE titles for Nintendo DS, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360 this year.

** Contest run by Best Buy: on bestbuy.com there's an online tournament for Smackdown vs. Raw 2007 for the XBOX 360. One grand prize winner and one first prize winner will get a trip/tickets to WrestleMania 23...among other things.

Impact was on tonight. Abyss/Sting in a "prison yard" match, should be craptacular, kinda like Taker/Big Show in the "Punjabi Prison" match last year. I hope Angle destroys Christian, cause I kinda want to see Angle/Joe for the title. Might be the first time in a long while that a TNA World Title match is interesting. Steiner's back...BARF!! And I'll leave it at that!

Looks like since WSX came out, WWE got even more competition now. Iseen WSX and I have one word to say, VAMPIROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

RIIIGHT! It won't take long, imo, for TNA and/or WWE to lure their superstars away and WSX will go the way of the XWF, into the history books. They ain't in WWE's league

what? WSX, competition for WWE? lol! How the hell does a 30 minute wrestling show on MTV that basically just showcases some controversial indy cruiserweights compete with a company that has two weekly tv shows on primetime, both 2 hours long, plus a one hour show on Sci Fi, also weekly, and features monthly pay per views? Not even TNA is competition for WWE yet, much less WSX.

Interesting bit of news, take it as you will:

* Yesterday it was reported that Hulk Hogan made claims that he no longer works for WWE on Bubba The Love Sponge radio show.

Sources within WWE have confirmed that Hogan is indeed gone and is not scheduled to work at WrestleMania 23. This leaves the Great Khali in a hole now as he was expected to work against Hogan at the pay-per-view.

Raw > TNA > ECW > Smackdown

TNA > Smackdown! > RAW > ECW

I personally despise Smackdown. I hate the gimmicks (King Booker is stale), most of the wrestlers (Batista as champ still doesn't sit well with me, he's just a brute) and the commentators just don't have the same punch as Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.

I'll take ECW over Smackdown because of the cast of characters. Tommy Dreamer is one of my all-time favorites, because he's just so ridiculous in the ring. The Dudleys are also up there for me.

The reason why I like Smackdown! better than RAW is because Smackdown actually puts on good matches with it's worker-filled roster. Benoit, Noble, Finlay, London and Kendrick, Matt Hardy, Greg Helms, Chavo Guerrero, Jimmy Yang, Mysterio and Kennedy. Also, I like Batista ten times better than John Cena, so.

Raw > ECW > Smackdown > TNA

Batista is boring. I never liked him ever since I first heard of this dude. Didn't he use to be wit HHH? He's a sidekick man, not a champion. I like that other guy Kennedy more then Batista.

Batista is bull shit imo. A swating clothsline machine as someone stated before lol. Also, his matches are boring as shit in a toilet.

Guys, I just came back from the SUPESHOW in Vancouver today (which also happened to be my first EVER live wrestling show), and let me tell you, it was THE SHIT.

Christy's opponent for Against All Odds is... Christy Hemme is scheduled to wrestle the Big Fat Oily Guy (the TNA parody of WWE's Big Dick Johnson) in her TNA debut match on Sunday's Against All Odds PPV in Orlando. That's Vince Russo for ya! Thanks to Phil Adams & WrestlingObserver.com for the following: Kurt went over his previous addictions, claiming up to 65 Vicodins per day, including 18 just to get out of bed which impressed Ferrall to no end. Kurt went through the story of Vince forcing him to rehab on the road. Kurt told the heartwarming story of his fight with Eddie Guererro. Eddie shot on him, trying a leg dive on Kurt. Kurt avoided it and put him in a rear naked choke. Another (nameless) wrestler asked Eddie why he would try a single leg on an Olympic champion. Eddie replied "because I'm f**king stupid". Kurt actually promoted TNA. He predicted his match this Sunday with Christian will be match of the year. He said that Samoa Joe is a tremendous athlete, can do a 4.5 40 yd dash and has a 44" verticle leap. He said his deal with TNA is financially better than at WWE and at WWE he had a one million dollar guarantee and usually made 2.5 to 3 million. Talking about his WWE days, he has seen Trish Stratus naked, but wouldn't give the details. In response to question from Eric the Midget, he reiterated his claim that HHH is a slimeball, saying he is a slimeball because HHH would never put Kurt over knowing Kurt could surpass him. He is negotiating for a big deal with EXC. He claimed that although UFC, through Dana, didn't want him after he told them he would continue to wrestle, they now want him again after hearing he is negotiating with EXC. He is now negotiating with both. Spike wants him to go UFC. Of course, he can beat anybody in MMA since he has "superior quickness". He wants to fight three times before he is 40. Some things I noticed when I was at the show....
1) I didn't know that people swore so much during these events. Security had to tell the people in front of me to tone down the language. That, and the beer.
2) After the ECW Tag match, I always saw Elijah Burke standing beside these WWE staff guys at a table. He seems like a pretty nice guy, although I was too scared to approach him
3) Also, after Taker made his entance into the ring, I saw Gregory Helms peeking from behind the entrance curtain.
4) Jillian Hall cannot sing.

Well whenever me and my friends attend shows, we always curse alot. SHUT THE FUCK UP chants, FUCK YOU chants, and just overall cursing while cheering. We usually tone ourselves down due to the kids around us, though.

LOL btw, at CM Punk doing the job for Kevin Thorn. So much for getting pushed, huh, Punk.

Punk is really tall..... and so is Thorn. Those guys looked like beasts, and when Batista came out.... I jaw-dropped.

Anyone watch AOO? Read the results and it sounded kinda meh. Half the card was sub 10 minute matches.

Haha, just found that quote funny. Damnit, TNA, what the hell. Every match was a gimmick and it sounds like WWE trash in terms of content outside the ring. Get Russo the hell out. He's absolute garbage.
