Kennedy vs. Batista was the better match, and Khali was absolutely terrible in the Rumble. When is WWE going to wake up to the fact the man has no clue what to do when he's in the ring? I missed the Big Show during the Rumble, cause when Khali came in, Show woud've thrown his a$$ out, faster than the Miz.


News:
** The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Vince McMahon was furious at the 1/16 ECW tapings and went nuts backstage after it was all over. He hated the show and was screaming that there wasn’t one guy in ECW who knew how to work.

McMahon was particularly upset with the main event and how bad it made Lashley look.

Vince is said to be mad all the time since that taping. Stephanie, Vince and Dave Lagana had a meeting about the future of ECW with Vince strongly hinting that ECW was on it’s last legs.

** Before they’ve even aired their debut episode, WWE is already going after MTV’s Wrestling Society X. Most of the wrestlers with WSX have short term contracts (as opposed to TNA and WWE’s long-term deals) and WWE is seemingly going out of their way to offer those people more money to join them.

The current WSX roster includes Sean Waltman, Vampiro, New Jack, Justin Credible, Teddy Hart, and several big names from the local indy scene in Southern California.

WSX's debut episode airs tonight at 10:30 PM on MTV. (There's no way WSX can survive a WWE talent raid, or TNA even, imo)


Its not like Lashley sucked before hand right? So he would always look bad :)!

WSX was the extremely crappy spotfest I knew it was going to be.

Hahaha, i'll have to keep an eye on that blog.

D/Ling wsX now, though i can only guess what that shit will look like with evans, hart and pac.

Man, joe is done with roh, it seams. Last match and farewell tour coming. Be focusing on tNa work, so that's pretty cool. Can't wait till he gets the strap. he'll be missed though. sad

Oh, and looks as though tna is going through with that shoot match at destination-X. I'm actually looking forward to seeing how that turns out.

** While CM Punk's initial months with WWE were plagued by heat from a few key members of the WWE power bloc, he now has heat with much of the lockerroom, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports.

Management received multiple complaints from wrestlers who claimed that Punk carries a "main-event" attitude backstage despite being relatively new to World Wrestling Entertainment.

Sources say that Punk doesn't say or do anything inherently disrespectful, but his sarcastic attitude is not well-received by a lockerroom that does not believe he's earned the right to possess such an attitude.

The Observer adds that his relationship with Maria does not help his standing in the lockerroom.

** A few media outlets have mentioned Donald Trump's appearance on RAW last night including TMZ.com. WWE, Trump, and NBC are all hoping for more media coverage of the angle, especially NBC which wants to draw viewers to The Apprentice which isn't doing as well in the ratings this season as past seasons.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Donald Trump may be appearing in Hulk Hogan's corner at WrestleMania in the Hulkster's match against either Shane McMahon, Umaga or Khali. WWE hasn't decided on Hogan's opponent for the show, but the idea is to have Trump in his corner and Vince McMahon in his opponent's corner, whoever that may end up being.

Only Steinersque. Well there will be the occasional Steiner facts (most of them will be original ones instead of re-used Chuck Norris facts), but all sorts of Big Poppa Pumpy items will be found in the blog. From promos, clips, matches, Steiner news, etc.

Ok, now, i enjoy my highspots, i'll admit that. But wtf? WSX was nothing but some convulsed orgy of nonsensical, random bullshit. Editing was kinda shoddy, too. I would have expected maybe a BIT more production value from MTV. Gah, and that damn ring announcer. I'll watch a few more episodes to give it a chance, but damn. Seams like a great fit for evans, though, lol.

Oh, and when did x pac make his transition from the 123 kid? I remember him getting his start as 123, but don't recall the "change" the x pac.

TNA was ok, last night, kinda lame. Liked when Cornette told Christie to marry Kip James, "that'll show him" lol! But the whole thing between Abyss and Sting is just getting dumber by the minute, imo. Hope the Dudleys will finally destroy LAX.

** 4 Big WSX Stars Want To Jump To WWE But Can't **

People close to WSX wrestlers Matt Sydal, Ruckus and now Joey Ryan say that WWE contacted them as they were interested in them once their WSX contracts expire. However, WWE sources are saying that all three individuals contacted WWE first.

However, they are under iron-clad contracts with WSX, which are said to be around 1-year deals. Another big WSX name who has been outspoken about jumping to WWE - Teddy Hart, has a 2 year deal with MTV.

Due to these contract restrictions, WWE isn't going to pursue them and has no major interest in any of them.

I enjoyed impact last night. Jims comment on christy marrying kip was funny as hell. They were both like wtf, lol. I am enjoying aj more and more, too. He has much more character as a heel. They're doing a decent job of intertwining the different characters, too. I just wish they'd wrestle a bit more....shit has really slacked off. sad Still decent wrestling, just not enough time.

I dont think so, brother. We did get filmed alot but I think it was all for some project called hi-life tv or something, I dont think they'll be for sale anywhere.
