Taker finally won. This should bring him back into the whole title picture for a while
Believe it, and as for taker winning the Rumble; well it brings a bit of BitterSweet happiness to my face. I say Bittersweet because for one, like the other 1.3 Million San Antonians who Might've watch the Royual rumble either live or on PPV< I wanted HBK to win, and Oh how close he came, But having another fan Favorite in The Undertaker win I guess is the closest thing I, personally, can get to a consolation prize. I have a feeling that it'll be Title Vs Streak as Well, just watch and find out. I don't wanna Jynx myself
Undertakers streak at wrestemania must not end...its like his thing, i think it would be the start of the end for him if they let him loose at wrestlemania.
If they dont't actualy want him to have the title (I do), then let him win but let his victory be short lived...as long as he wins at wrestlemania I am happy.
Oh and if Booker T stopped being King booker, and also became a FACE that would make me happy also.

Who should beat Taker for it? Batista gain it back, or someone else? And I disagree, Shawn Micheals will run circles around Cena, assuming Shawn is the one going to Mania. Wonder how Raw will pick Cena's opponent.
And to xtactics, why were you surprised Batista retained? I thought from the avatar and the sig you might be a big Batista fan?!

Hm. Well that makes no sense whatsoever.
Anyways, it will be interesting to see how the fatal four way will happen, but I'm guessing Stone Cold will have something to do with it. Cena will retain though, probably by pinning Edge or making Orton tap out.

Totally agree. And get rid of Sharmell she's annoying.

Yep
Actually I think a whole lot of wrestlers can own Cena. It's just that Cena is screwing around the right people backstage (I always think of this since Cena's quick immortal rise to the top) *cough* McMahons *cough*.

I'm a Cena fan, and his actual gimmick sucks... but now, unlike 10 months ago, he's the best champion, and Batista is the "not-deserved champ". Cena & Umaga's performance in Royal Rumble was incredible, a early WWE MotY candidate, and was the best fight of the night, because apart of the last amazing e final minutes of the RR, the "body" of the RR wasn't memorable, only good. Sadly, the next RAW/Interpromotional PPV is WM, and we can't have a Cena vs Umaga 3, a Hell in the Cell will be memorable...
For WM23, I only want that Taker wins, Kennedy wins (in his match), Edge not lose, and CM Punk & Carlito won't be buried...

thats why i always watched wcw over wwf/wwe and ecw. wcw had a better look and feel to it. wwe and ecw always did, and still look fake as hell. at least the original ecw was as bad...but the new ecw is being ran by wwe, so that explains that. i was watching am raw this morning...watching hbk and edge..seeing hbk's hand land like 6 inches away from edges head but edge still flopped like a mother. hbk is one of the worst wrestlers when it comes to selling....and i don't mean tshirts, lol. he'll call out a spot right on camera and wont give a shit.
flipped on raw a min ago only to see money droppin down and seeing trump run his mouth...i guess they are actually goin thru with the billionaire storyline for mania, how lame.

Batista the undeserving champ? He's far better than Cena, as he's always been.
There's NO WAY Cena's dropping the belt at Mania. There's nobody to drop the belt TO. Who's going to take the title? Orton? Yeah right. Edge? Wouldn't make sense. Micheals? He isn't as lucky as Taker.
Also I watched the Royal Rumble last night with the other wrestlers here, and man that pay per view stunk so much. What a terrible, terrible show. Hardyz vs MNM was bad, Test vs Lashley was ridiculous, Kennedy vs Batista was botched (match of the night though) and Cena vs Umaga was the most boring piece of shit I have seen in a very long time. The ending is brutal, yes, but aside from that, I nearly fell asleep.
The rumble itself sucked. There were no fun spots, so cool double teams between RAW and Smackdown guys or anything. ECW was pure canon fodder, I dont think Sandman was in for more than two minutes. Khali came in, and it was SO fucking ridiculous. He gave out like...what? Twenty retarded headbutts in a row? And eliminated half of the people that were in the ring. All the ECW guys that were left got decimated by Khali, Benoit was eliminated too and you ddint even see him go over the top rope when Khali did it. And who eliminates KhalI? Taker, with a few punches and a fucking clothesline. So retarded.
Kane put Sabu through a table via chokeslam, there was a fun spot where everybody teamed up to take out Viscera, and every time there was Sweet Chin Music it was a cool moment, but aside from that, a VERY bad rumble. I hate it when the one of the last guys in wins the match. It just makes him seem so inferior.
The pay per view gets 3 / 10 Zennies.

Can i say something? well, even if you said no, i still am. It's time for wwe to stop milking the John Cena thing. Hes totaly Bogus. Let someone who hasen't EVER been champ win. At this point, i would settle for Khali as champ. This is getting rediculous. look at the talent on raw that wwe is wasteing. Edge, Orton, Umaga, Hardy, Masters, Carlito, Michaels, and even Super Crazy, and what are they doing with them, absolutley NOTHING! WWE, let Cena get off the horse, and let someone else on. As for the rumble, yeah it sucked. Test should have beat lashley. eather that or wait awhile and drop the title to Montey Brown or an ECW original. Smackdown might be the most well balenced of the three brands. PS, did spike show TNA last week, because they were showing some UFC thing at nine last thursday when i turned it there.

Yeah, tna was on wednesday, though. Can't wait for the three hour, yes three hour, time slot durring a pre-empted raw, and a two hour special of the best 06 PPV matches going head to head with raw - or is it the other way around? Anywho, good for tna. Not liking the backstage shit that seams to be going on, though. And what's up with TNA booking all the wrestlers indy shows? That's gay.
Edity: Oh, and +1 for gail in a match at the AAO PPV.

C'mon, actually Cena is much better than Batista (this actual Batista is a joke for the Batista one that 2 years ago winning the WWE Title at WM21 against Triple H). His match against Umaga (Samoa Who? ) was better than Batista vs Mr.Kennedy... Kennedy (because he fighted for two, but only managed that his match was better than ECW Title). Cena obviously isn't Lou Thezs, Ric Flair or Brian Danielson, and it's WWE, but anyways his fight is a early WWE (remember, WWE) MotY, for them enfort in the spots and the selling. (Note: WSX, 100% Spots, 0% Selling xD)
And yeah, the "body" of the RR wasn't memorable, but with the last 4 wrestlers, we have a more memorable RR minutes than the last Royal Rumble PPV... maybe is because the level of WWE is under-underlimits, but his 2 PPV of 2007 are better than the last year versions...
I hate hardcore bullshit. It doesn't take any skill to get tossed into steel steps, or picking up Umaga for an FU like he weights 600 pounds, even though you've already FUed the Big Show easily like four times before. Kennedy vs Batista had the psychology with the leg work of Kennedy on the Tista, and I like Batista more since he came back. He's trying to do more moves, like the belly to belly, jackhammer, steamroller, etc. Unlike the Batista of old who was a sweating clothesline machine.

Kennedy vs. Batista was the better match, and Khali was absolutely terrible in the Rumble. When is WWE going to wake up to the fact the man has no clue what to do when he's in the ring? I missed the Big Show during the Rumble, cause when Khali came in, Show woud've thrown his a$$ out, faster than the Miz.
News:
** The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Vince McMahon was furious at the 1/16 ECW tapings and went nuts backstage after it was all over. He hated the show and was screaming that there wasn’t one guy in ECW who knew how to work.
McMahon was particularly upset with the main event and how bad it made Lashley look.
Vince is said to be mad all the time since that taping. Stephanie, Vince and Dave Lagana had a meeting about the future of ECW with Vince strongly hinting that ECW was on it’s last legs.
** Before they’ve even aired their debut episode, WWE is already going after MTV’s Wrestling Society X. Most of the wrestlers with WSX have short term contracts (as opposed to TNA and WWE’s long-term deals) and WWE is seemingly going out of their way to offer those people more money to join them.
The current WSX roster includes Sean Waltman, Vampiro, New Jack, Justin Credible, Teddy Hart, and several big names from the local indy scene in Southern California.
WSX's debut episode airs tonight at 10:30 PM on MTV. (There's no way WSX can survive a WWE talent raid, or TNA even, imo)
