Haha, classic.

Thanks for the links, zent, i'll be checking those out.

Just watched rey reys' shoot video. It's pretty hardcore, what he said about his mask. How when he was fifteen, wrestling under the name Colibri, and his uncle introduced him as rey mysterio jr. They replace his colibri maks with the rey mysterio mask. Passing on the touch, kinda thing. Then, when he lost his mask, he had a match with psycosis in that same arena his uncle gave him the mask. He layed it in the middle of the ring. Deep shit.

Ah I gotta watch that shoot someday. I watched the Charlie Haas shoot last saturday though. Nothing special, his words on Russ were cool and it was nice seeing him talk about his interactions with Benoit and Angle, and he also explained his backstage fight with Eddie Guerrero. He told a small Low Ki story that kicks ass though. One time he was at an indy show and he heard someone go up to Low Ki and ask ''Hey Low Ki, who are you wrestling tonight?'' and Low Ki answered ''I'm not. I'm fighting''. lol, Low Ki must be such a mark for himself.

Yeah but you wont be getting ROH old stuff (I assume). Right there you have two Gibson matches, both pretty good, you have a match in the tournament for the first ever ROH world champion (AJ vs Lynn), you have Davey Richards vs AJ... really, all great matches and you probably wont be getting them on tv.

Actually there is old ROH stuff on the channel. I don't think that, other than the TNA Xplosion, there's any real new stuff. Some of the ROH stuff was Samoa Joe vs. CM Punk, and James Gibson, hell, I even saw Matt Hardy listed on the card. I'll watch some and let you know what it is.

Any way, I hope this is soooo not true:

E! is reporting that Kevin Federline could be brought back to WWE in a regular role. Everyone in WWE was impressed with Federline during his last stint and Federline actually went out of his way to try and get along with the other wrestlers.

NoDQ.com > TNA > The X-Division to start having shoot matches?
Posted by Aaron Rift on 01/23/2007 at 12:02 PM

- TNA have been wanting to do Team 3D vs. The Steiners for a long time, but due to Scott's contract issues the timing's never worked out.

- Kevin Nash is claiming he's the reason Jeremy Borash is back doing the interviews. Nash was fed up with interviews having to be done over and over again as Leticia Cline didn't know what she was doing.

- As things stand, Kurt Angle will likely compete in a tag team match at the 2/18 New Japan Sumo Hall show.

- The booking team is trying to come up with a shoot concept to be different from WWE. The vague idea is to have all X Division matches have time limits but have real judges deciding the outcome based on who gave the best performance in the match.

Well I dont really see that happening, but it would be interesting to say the least!
another change...omg

The Great American Bash on July 22nd, 2007 has been moved from Washington DC to San Jose, California.

Cyber Sunday on October 28th, 2007 has been moved from San Jose, California to Washington DC.

i hope thats all

It means they're legitimately trying to win; to hurt each other, like a real competitive sport. In that news report though, I think they mean they wont have things scheduled but still perform as wrestlers and not real fighters (punches wont really hurt, backbreakers wont really hit the back, etc). It's shoot in the sense that they're trying to outshine each other and in the end the best wrestler will be voted by judges. This would mean that wrestlers would win thanks to their talent and wrestling ability, as opposed to the usual rule, which is wrestlers win thanks to the money they draw.

Haha, funny bullshit, though.

Judged x div matches would be sweet. Cause the wrestlers to push and put on great shows. 👍

Which is why I hope the WWE doesn't enforce it, there's not enought talent who can actually wrestle to justify such a major change like that.

And a comment on Zent's post, it's funny that Nash is given power to change who does the interviews! Kevin Nash plus power equals nothing but bad news for TNA. And AJ in Raven's flock is stupid, hopefully it was a one night thing.

That whole thing with Abyss is stupid, imo. It's exactly the same as what WWE did with the Kane angle, minus Sting dressing up as Abyss and pardon my language, f*cking a corpse! If this is another "Russo" idea, TNA, Dixie Carter, please PLEASE, for your own good, FIRE RUSSO now, and save yourself from the same fate as WCW.

lol no shit :P Welcome to the real world, Neo.

Anyways, another piece of Kurt Angle insanity. Man, Angle's just really fucked up in the head.

Here is a recap from Phil Evans of what Kurt Angle said today on Bubba the Love Sponge:

He put over Dixie Carter. She's paying him more than Vince ever did. She's a better businesswoman than Vince could ever dream of being (maybe because Vince isn't a woman?). He says that her backers could buy and sell Vince and that an NFL owner may be backing TNA soon. They are talking with Hogan and Jericho.

Kurt says TNA's ratings are now beating ECW and Smackdown.

Vince treats the guys who give him respect far worse than the guys who don't. A Dr. told Kurt that the blood vessels on Vince's nose (which he
covers with makeup) indicate that Vince has humungous high blood pressure and is a ticking timebomb for a heart attack.

Shane has done more businesswise for the WWE than Vince. Shane is in charge of the international marketing and has deals with China and Russia set up. Kurt said that he (Kurt) is actually responsible for the deal with China becuase when he was in Japan, China (I assume the country) gave Kurt its phone number and Kurt gave it to Shane who closed the deal. (Intersting that "China" has a phone number, must be some kind of red phone, hotline deal like Batman had). Kurt likes Shane alot and says Shane has a heart, unlike Vince.

HHH is a slimeball.

Adding Hogan, Big Show and Jericho will easily put TNA over WWE.

Can't understand why Test has been buried in WWE. Says that Test is a great worker. he compares Test to a young Kevin Nash (I assume he meant that as a positive thing).

Kurt said he has done more jobs than any top guy in the history of wrestling (Flair?) and is still over.

He concludes by plugging tonight's episode of TNA at 9:00 p.m. on Spike (nice product awareness).

---

Yeah Kurt, I'm sure TNA will get Hogan and Big Show.
