WWE noted that Al Snow was relieved of his wrestler contract but still remains with the company as a trainer for the developmental talent.

I thought most of those were gonne long ago ?

So did I, and there's still more to come. I wonder, if any, how many will go to TNA, as soon as the 90 day no-compete clause is expired

Actually, it wasn't said why the sudden large amount of releases. The news sites always call it "Spring Cleaning", whatever that means.

And a note on the Bashoms, they were realeased awhile back, but were brought back as Heyman's personal body-guards

**Breaking News: 'Bam Bam' Bigelow Passes Away**

WWE.com has learned that former WWE Superstar Scott "Bam Bam" Bigelow has passed away in Florida.

Kevin Doll, the Public Information Director for the Pasco County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Bigelow was found dead early this morning in his home in Hudson, Fla.

"We can confirm that Scott Bigelow was found in his home this morning. At this time the cause of death is unknown," Doll told WWE.com.

Doll also confirmed that the Pasco-Pinellas Counties medical examiner has taken the body and an autopsy will be performed.

Bigelow, 45, worked for WWE, ECW and WCW extensively throughout his 20-year sports-entertainment career. A former ECW Champion, ECW Television Champion and WCW Tag Team Champion, he is perhaps best known for his rivalry with Lawrence Taylor that culminated in the main event of WrestleMania XI in 1995.

i was just thinking of bam bam the other day. He was one of my dads favorite wrestlers. What is with all these wrestlers dying young? I mean seriously.

We love you Bam, you'll be remembered.

Shame about Bam Bam, but I saw it coming a mile away. I remember a couple of years ago buying a Smackdown! Magazine which had an article on his restaurant business and how he loved it. A few months ago, there were reports on the internet on how his business had gone to shits and he closed down his restaurant, and he had been in an accident with his girlfriend or something. RIP.

**More On The Passing Of 'Bam Bam' Bigelow**

Kocosports.com broke the story of the passing of former WWE Superstar Scott "Bam Bam" Bigelow earlier today. They have a few more details on his passing that WWE.com didn't report. Sources close to Bigelow told Kocosports.com the he had been missing for several days. And as noted before, he was found dead this morning in his home in Florida by his girlfriend around 10A.M hen she woke up. Furthermore, police are currently treating this as a crime scene.

Many of Bam Bam Bigelow's friends and colleagues contacted WWE.com to share their feelings on "The Beast from the East." They have comments from RVD, Tazz, Paul Heyman, Jerry Saggs, Tommy Dreamer, Ted DiBiase, Mean Gene Okerlund, Howard Finkel, Jimmy Hart, Jake Roberts, Joey Styles and Gregory Helms. Also, it looks like WWE will be adding comments from more wrestlers throughout the day as they get them.

I will say that because there's a serious lack of talent on Smackdown, that is why Vito and MVP keep their jobs, but releasing so many developmental guys ain't going to help the lack of talent on either show. BTW, what did anyone think of the new tag team that debuted last night on SD? I think they've got the talent and ability, they just need to lose the lame gimmik and the bimbo, imo.

Whats wrong with Vito and MVP ?

Vito can still wrestle.....this wearing a dress gimmick seems like the start of his retirement by the looks of it because this is usualy what WWE does, Humiliate the star before releasing him.....but i like the guy as a wrestler....when he is actualy wrestling.

Zentile noted a few weeks ago that MVP was one of the biggest tallents in WWE, now i did not agree at the time, his more recent matches were good, because though he has a burnt back, they actualy let him wrestle, instead of Kane and Undertaker taking him to school every week.
And now i agree, he pulled off some good moves, well i dont completely agree he has not shown enough yet, but he is not as bad as i first thought.

I have no problem with either of them. Vito, i like and enjoy and find entertaining, MVP, like Zentile noted, is a good heel, i don't like him, and that's why he's a good heel. Personally, i prefer Kennedy over MVP. And I hope you don't seriously believe he's got a burnt back.

Two Hour TNA Event:

** It hasn't been officially announced, but it looks as if TNA will indeed get a two hour special on Monday, February 12 when RAW would otherwise be airing on USA.

RAW is preempted for the dog show on that night and it won't air on Sci-Fi either because of a marathon scheduled for that network on that evening.

So if the deal goes down, TNA will go unopposed on that night in what could be its only chance for years to air on what's become the main "wrestling night" in America and capture some new viewers looking for their weekly wrestling fix.

Furthermore, the show is slated to replay on Thursday night during the usual start time.

there are better options than mvp and vito is all i believe, i'd have no trouble if both were jobbers, but they're not, they get a push at times. RobbieDawber is a better choice than both. Khali i'm not a fan of, but we all know what vince likes.

vito's gimmick is lamer than the spirit squad (which grew on me, but mainly because of their skills and having seen them in ovw)

seth skyfire was lightning in a bottle who would have added A LOT to the cruiserweight division... as it is, jimmy wang yang is in trouble if shantelle taylor is going to feud with helms.

in ovw (which, especially when heyman was in control, although it's still had a few moments more recently, was as good as wwe/ tna if not better - anyone who saw the jeter-cappotelli feud will tell you that). jack bull played an evil kavenvil style daredevil/ fun drunk. A solid wrestler, hilarious, and a real character.

Man you guys I just got done watching Bryan Danielson vs KENTA in a NOAH show. It's not as good as their ROH title match in the U.S. but damn it's one fine contest. It's on youtube, too!

James Gibson's debut match in ROH, agaisnt Spanky. i'm watching it right now for the first time and it's rockin! Enjoy people. EDIT: Infact guys, just check out all the videos from that person. He has Gibson vs Joe (pretty good), AJ vs Davey Richards (kickass), and alot of other good stuff like Styles vs Lynn and The Briscoes vs Amazing Red and Styles, though I havent seen that one yet.

I don't need youtube, I can watch those matches on The Fight Network, which has allot of ROH and NOAH wrestling on it.

Yeah but you wont be getting ROH old stuff (I assume). Right there you have two Gibson matches, both pretty good, you have a match in the tournament for the first ever ROH world champion (AJ vs Lynn), you have Davey Richards vs AJ... really, all great matches and you probably wont be getting them on tv.
