If Cena wins at Mania, damn that will suck. If HHH makes it to Mania im all for him winning. Actually, I miss him even being champ.

And Matt is more popular now than he ever was because Edge took Lita.

That is kinda funny coming from Matt. Who's the one having more success than the other? Edge, cause even though I don't like him, he's allot more entertaining than Hardy. He lost his momentum in his feud with Edge, with Edge always kicking his ass all the time, now Edge is getting the spotlight on Raw, and Hardy is on Smackdown as a jobber. With comments like that from Hardy, it's obvious that he's jealous of Edge.

Who thinks Matt should leave WWE and try his hand wrestling with TNA?

Despite being a "jobber" (though he's not) Matt Hardy is one of Smackdown's biggest faces. He may not be getting the push Edge did, but he's certainly extremely popular with the fans.

And no, I don't think he should leave. He resigned with WWE, I'm assuming for an extended length of time, anyway... just last year.

Yeah, when he's actually used. He's not been used on the air much lately. And yeah, I think he is kind of a jobber, he's been losing more than winning lately, sure he "beat" Finley, but only after the ref reversed the decision, and disqualified Finley. Don't know, I've always liked him more than Jeff!

Oh well! I'm going to try to tone it down a bit with my criticisms! I'll try to keep my opinions to myself more or less! I'm just so passionate about wrestling that I get a little carried away sometimes and forget that it's just a show! Sorry if I've been coming off as an ass lately! grin tongue wink smile glasses

ECW PPV News: Date Announced, Location, Talent Involved:

**Plans are still in place for WWE to run a second ECW PPV on June 10 according to PWInsider, indicating that last year's show was not a "One Night Stand" after all.

Presently, WWE is trying to settle on a location for the event. As it stands, it will either be held again in New York's Hammerstein Ballroom or in Philadelphia, although not at the ECW Arena.

WWE is already in contact with Terry Funk about working the show. While Funk has yet to commit to the date, there have already been reports that WWE wants to base the promotion for the second event around Funk's appearance.

Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit have already pitched the idea of working against each other in an Eddie Guerrero Tribute bout at the show. Malenko was unavailable for last year's event but will certainly be there this year.

Tajiri is also expected to work the show.

Sources say that WWE will force outside talent to sign a stricter contract about working this year's show. WWE does not want another "Hardcore Homecoming" event trading on its hype for an ECW reunion.

I know this is old news but I only saw the video today of that Kurt Angle VS Daniel Puder thing from Tough Enough last year... Man, was Angle pwned or what?! And he was sooooo pissed off after the whole thing went wrong. Maybe Puder was a little disrespectful as probably he wasn't supposed to pwn Kurt like that but damn... that was sweet grin

Here's the video if anyone wants to watch it.

Fuck you WWE.

So, it has just been announced that the PPV provider that gives us TNA, WWE, Pride, UFC, etc, will not be airing the TNA Against All Odds PPV on Sunday, or any TNA PPV's until April. WWE is coming here in March. You do the math.

And from the mouth of our top wrestling journalist "Let's just leave it at that - it's not really a discussion we should be drawing much attention to if you get my drift." Lousy shady WWE dealings. Damn this pisses me off.

I don't even look at the clock for WWE anymore. BTW, Puder is fighting on March 10 in an MMA bout. He's on the same card as Ryan Gracie vs. Frank Shamrock. It will be his second pro MMA fight. And the thing with angle; Puder pretty much got a shit deal. I guess Jerry Lynn said that Puder got hosed. He was doing really well and developing both mic and in ring skills effectively, then they just dropped him.

Funny thing about Puder, he's like a premadona of MMA, lol. Check his website, it's pretty good. I can see him making waves in the MMA community if he steps up and is a legit contender.

I guess I watched a different video than you, but it looked to me like Puder was the one pwned! Any way, I think that TE isn't that great, but the WWE made a mistake to let Puder go, but I heard/read that it was because he developed an attitude problem backstage, and it continued on when he was sent to OVW.

Anyone see the Smackdown spoilers? Christ, how low are they gonna go with this Eddie stuff? What does his family think? They don't need to put Orton through this to prove he's over, they know he's over.

Puder had a keylock on Angle that Angle wasn't ever going to be able to break and Puder's right shoulder wasn't touching the floor. The pinfall was the way of making Angle avoid the embarrassment.

More Eddie bullshit...should have known the wwe wouldn't drop it after only two shows. It's funny how nothing is sacred in the wwe... they will basically throw anything out there.

Yeah dude. nzpwi.co.nz.
They've actually just been given permission by WWE to use WWE's intellectual property, which is a pretty big deal for a news site. I dunno how many other news sites WWE trusts that much. And a Bobby Lashley interview should be up there in a week or two where Lashley apparently talks about OVW, Angle, wrestling in the USMC, etc. Good stuff.

[/cheap plug]

But yeah, I can understand why WWE would work out a deal like that, but it's still a bit of a low blow, especially to people like me who are pretty loyal to WWE anyway.

In other news, w0rt! Matt Hardy in that recent interview with the Sun said he's trying to bring his "scar" submission finisher into WWE. That's cool. It's like a double underhook, then he jumps up and wraps his legs around the opponent and takes them to the ground in like a butterfly lock with bodyscissors. I love it.

In other, other news, at the next ROH event Bryan Danielson defends his ROH world title against Alex Shelley. Looks like it's my boy vs yours, Zentile. tongue

Shelley = King. Because Shelley will walk out of the show with the ROH World Championship, and Austin Aries will walk out with the Pure Championship! So he can become the only Triple Crown winner in ROH History!

Saw this posted on another forum...

I just spoke with a contact of mine who attended the OVW tapings this evening.

Cappotelli has surrendered the OVW title on the basis that the tumor that was found was indeed cancerous, and was listed on a severity level of "2" on a scale of 1-4. Not knowing much about cancer and its treatments (other that it's hell) It looks like Capps is going to have to hang it up.

Those wrestlers in attendance at the taping this evening all came out to wish him the best. Tank Toland(one of the Dicks) was especially broken up about this. I'm sure that many of the fans there were in tears.

I just got the news so I don't have any recap information about the rest of the show, but this is the most important part.

Jesus, that really sucks for Matt. I (and I'm sure a lot of others) were hoping it was benign but that's obviously not the case now. Terrible news, especially since he apparently had a nice career ahead of him. Hope he IS able to beat it and come back eventually, especially since the same thing happened to Lyger a decade ago (Lyger managed to recover and is still working to this day).

Oh my god.... I'm truly saddened by this piece of news. Quite frankly, when I heard about it first I thought he was going to get over it. That it was a sure thing. No problem. Now he might die... if that kid went to WWE, they'd probably give him a ''bad luck'' gimmick where he just gets bad luck all the time or something.

Oh, and MKGeek, Angle got t3h m4j0r pwn3dz0red by Puder. If Chioda hadn't had the brains to count the ''pinfall'', Angle would've tapped within seconds for sure. Aha. I love Angle, but that just rocks.

AND, there's no way Shelley is beating MY man, the U.S. Dragon = P.

Seriously though, I love Alex Shelley, he's like the modern day Malenko. I do hope Danielson keeps the title though.

That is terrible news! He wil be in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully he will recover, and make a strong come back, and maybe hit it big with either Raw or Smackdown.

Yeah, AmDrag is probably going to hold that title for a long, long time, but when the time comes I do think it'll be Shelley or Strong to dethrone him. Just not yet.

And the Capotelli thing is pretty heart breaking. It maybe sucks even worse that it had to happen to him of all people because he sounds like such a nice guy, judging by the way he made time for the fans.

I'm hoping Danielson will break Samoa's record. Or maybe even Hulk Hogan's world title record = P I sure wouldn't mind.
To be honest, I don't see Shelley getting the belt though. I really haven't watched ROH in a while, is he getting a push in their events?

Im really far back when it comes to ROH. Im at Death Before Dishonor 3. I pretty much just bought the DVDs that have good CM Punk matches. Im thinking of taking advantage of the 10 dollar DVD sale they just did at ROHwrestling.com. What dvds should I get? I have Death Before Dishonor, Death Before Dishonor 2 Part 2, and Death Before Dishonor 3
