One thing I dont like about the Spirit Squad is that CM Punk deserves to be on TV way ahead of them. I dont see why they don't put Punk on TV for IC or US then World and WWE. But other that I dont really know whats going to happen at the rumble and Im happy because I dont want to know.

CM Punk was actually offered a spot on the Spirit Squad, but apparently he turned down the offer to go up to WWE for that gimmick. They should just let him use his regular gimmick of "I'm straight-edge for life, and I'm better than you".

Yeah I think CM Punk would do some good for the IC division on RAW. I'm sure he could have some nice matches agaisnt Shelton Benjamin, Rob Conway, Val Venis etc.

After Smackdown, only one position in the Royal Rumble is open (for Smackdown!, so four overall).

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Booker T
Psicosis
Super Crazy

As for Angle... him being a face is not exactly a spoiler. Angle has received so many cheers during his fued with Cena they decided to turn him into a face and ship him to Smackdown. Getting rid of Daivari and being a "I'll fight you anywhere" champion is part of his face turn. It's not really a turn though... being that it has already occured.

two words...." you suck"

what possible right did kurt angle have comin to smackdown and takin the vacant world heavywieght title? tht shit pissed me off, well, at least mark henry didnt get it, personally id have liked to hav seen rey take the title, or at least defeat henry for the title shot at royal rumble, but how the hell was mysterio ever gunna put henry over the ropes, or pin him in the match last week, total wash out. also EDGE, sum1 should put him out, i aswell as most wrestlin fans was gettin bored of cenas riegn as champ but i was impressed with the ellimination chamber match and was gutted when edge took the title.

BOOGEYMAN FOR WORLD HEAVYWIEGHT CHAMP?????

haha that as carlito would say would definatley be cool, hope he actually gets to have a decent fight this time against JBL at the royal rumble.

That's totally witty.

Anyways, so it seems we have 4 spots left...? I predict 3 Minute Warning coming back, and Charlie Haas being the last RAW representative in the match. He's been talking about showing up on RAW for ages now, pay per view ''surprise'' seems to be the right thing to do with him.
As for Smackdown!.... Probably JBL will be pissed off at his match with the Boogeyman and enter the rumble anyway.

Quick survey: What do you guys make of fans "attacking" wrestlers - is it fair for wrestlers to relatiate, or should they be more "professional" and brush it off?

Recently at a local event a kid (about 12 years old or something) spat on a heel wrestler, and they guy turned around and slapped the kid back into his chair. People have made a wee bit of a thing out of it. The kid had done it before too, and him and a lot of other kids are always throwing bottles and trash at the guys in and especially around they ring. They've been causing trouble for a while now. Was the wrestler justified in nailing this kid in the face or no?

I'd say he was, because that's the way it's always been and people should know that you don't throw things at or hit wrestlers. Throwing balls of paper or trash at heel wrestlers when they're standing outside the ring, okay, who cares, but throwing things at them (even paper) when they're in the ring is dangerous and shouldn't be tolerated in my opinion. Spitting is just as bad as hitting I think, if not worse, because you never know what diseases people might have, it's pretty disgusting. Throwing things like bottles, regardless of the situation, is an invatation to be punched in the head too if you ask me. You wouldn't spit at or throw things at anybody on the street, in a sports match, at the theatre, or any other public event, so I don't see why it should be tolerated at a wrestling event.

Granted, there should be ringside security to deal with the troublemakers, but in this case there is none (though I believe they're looking into it now), so it was a choice between either doing nothing about it and continuing to let this kid and his friends cause trouble for the rest of the show and in future shows, or putting him in his place.

So anyway, justified, or not?

Most of "the fans" that get involved with WWE are just local jobbers filling seats and Vince maybe told the guys to go over to where they are sitting, and have one of the wrestlers "nail the fan" by accident.

As for the situation you mentioned, I think the wrestler wasn't justified. Hitting little kids is not very good, for any reason, it's abuse. Sure the kid spat on him, big deal! Look what happened when Hogan "turned heel" and joined with Nash and Hall to form the NWO. The night he did that, fans threw damn near everything into the ring, excluding the kitchen sink, and noone made a big deal out of it, hell even the announcers just said "the fans are letting Hogan know their feelings", and nothing more was done. When you buy a ticket to a live event, or tv taping you have the right to cheer or jeer whoever you want. Spitting is nothing compared to how it was years ago. You hear stories from guys like Flair and Superstar Billy Graham, and even Freddie Blassie, who all as heels, had to be escorted to the ring by security, cause they had broken beer bottles thrown at them, or Blassie acutally had someone jump him, and stab him! So spitting ain't any big deal.

They wanted CM Punk to be in the Spirit Squad! FOR SHAME!! Just let him do his straight edge thing where he says Im drug free, alcohol free and better than you. It will work. I dont know what this whole your going to keep getting Punk'd thing in OVW is but whatever.

On the 12 year old getting slapped. GOOD! He's twelve he should know that your not supposed to do that. Im 13 and I would never do that.

I am not sure where I stand on this. At 2 seperate ECW events, I saw a child about 12 with a cast on his wrist get karate kicked off his seat by 'security'. I've seen Bubba Dudley straight up spit a huge loogie on the guy a few seats down from me, and the guy flipped out and tried to jump the rail, but got shot down.

I myself got a punch to the chest by ECW security. Al Snow was celebrating a win and I was next to him lookin in the camera going 'ECW, ECW' and this guy crushed me in the chest.

So to answer your question, I don't know, but from my personal experience, you don't fuck with those guys.

Hmm... *thinks* *hits head* OK, I've made a decision. The kid shouldn't have done it.

Anyway, can someone tell me who David Flair is? I read at NODQ.COM that he was beaten by Regal in a dark match.

He is Ric Flairs son of course! Couldn't you guess that by the last name? Any way, how old is that info? Dave ain't been in WWE for a looonngg time, unless they signed him back. He was with TNA for awhile, then left there. No idea what he's doing now.

on the subject of wrestler retaliation, i remember a match a few years back, might have been a ladder match where a wrestler was knocked off the ladder by a fan who ran in2 the ring, i think he was clobbered by eddie gurerro and rightly so, these guys have to train and perfect moves so tht they avoid serious injury and for some clown to come and fuck all this up and put the wrestler at risk is bang out of order, as for 12 year old kids, id just grab the parents and tell them to get there house in order.

Alright I got some more info about the feud of Carlito and the NBA:

At last night's NBA game between the Miami Heat and the Pheonix Suns, WWE shot an angle that featured included superstar NBA player Shaquille O'Neal. O'Neal has been shown in the audience on WWE television before but has not been ringside for any big events in recent years.

After the basketball game, Carlito started taunting Heat player Jason Williams for losing to the Pheonix Suns. Carlito's behavior to Williams' teammate O'Neal coming up from behind and attacking the former intercontinental champion with a steel chair.

The rumors are that O'Neal will make a apperance at WM 22..........
