Kurt's promo on the troops wasn't entirely a heel thing. It was a matter of opinion; Cena just sided with what most americans defend. Cause it's just so patriotic to go to war.

Wait...you think that's what Kurt Angle feels for real (as in, not when he's in character)?

Kurt's promo was only yet another effort to give Cena more supporters. Since Cena actually admitted half the people didn't like him, it's fairly clear the WWE is trying to use the war (once again) to shift crowd support onto their main face and off of their main heel.

Probably not since Angle is American and therefore he's probably been brainwashed since he was a kid.

Several Injuries At TNA Turning Point

Both Sabu and Abyss were treated by TNA medical staff for severe lacerations after their bloody "Barbed Wire Massacre" on Sunday night. Sabu suffered cuts to his face, arms and legs, while Abyss had his left arm completely torn open by the razor wire among other rips to his skin. Both stars received dozens of stitches after the show.

Also receiving stitches was "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, who had his upper lip completely ripped open during his match against Samoa Joe. The cut was deep enough to require several stitches from medical staff.

Raven also suffered a busted lip during his match, but did not require stiches

Jeff Jarrett received a nasty cut on his forehead during his NWA World Heavyweight Title match against Rhino

James Storm of America's Most Wanted received what was described as a mild neck stinger in AMW's loss to Team 3D. After being cleared by TNA medical staff, Storm was up and walking but he will be sore for the next few days.

Not so surprising all those injuries. Even though this ppv kinda blew compared to their last two shows. Just glad James Storm is ok, though, kinda rough the way he hit, but I didn't think it was anything too serious, other than whiplash, or like they said, stinger.

Well, that was certainly surprising. When Show lost, I knew that Triple H wouldn't beat Kane as well. Sort of strange Triple H chose this route for himself... I must say, he's showing a lot of restraint regarding the title.

GOOD! I hate the fact that he was in the fucking title hunt as much as he was, maybe he's starting to realize that not everyone wants to see him win the fucking belt 20 times!

~Crow~ Wrote:

Anyhow, I still think this may have been a mistake. This leaves Shelton with no match at the PPV, and no one he can get into a rivalry with really. I suppose we'll have to wait until next week to see what he'll do for himself.

He ain't done too much to impress me since he lost the IC title. Maybe after, or before NYR, he'll be involved in a rivalry with Micheals, cause the WWE is teasing something building between the two.

Also, I have to say... I loved Matt Striker's promo. This guy should be a great heel... I was thinking all along of how much he reminded me of Chris Nowinski's gimmick, and then Nowinski actually makes an appearance! Great to see him. I really hope WWE keeps him under contract until he can fully recover from his injury.

LOL! Yeah, it was kinda good! His character should be interesting. Funny how you said he reminds you of Nowinski, I say he reminds me of the old Shane Douglas WWF character of "Dean Douglas".

Bit of TNA news... Jeff Hardy may be done with the company. He no-showed at the PPV and now will not answer his cell phone for management. Perhaps his recent appearances at WWE events have something to do with this? Probably just wishful thinking on my part... I've always liked Jeff and felt he had some real potential if he only applied himself.

Don't really like Jeff much, kinda a weirdo!

I didn't like the promo... it was all about getting "American" fans pissed at him and to kick Cena up another notch. Also I find when they talk about things like that it just gets a little distasteful. Reminds me of Hassan...the crap the WWE made that poor guy spew out every night was pure garbage...and it sucks because he was awsome on the mic.

I also like Matt Striker's promo.

I was also dissapointed that Shelton Benjamin didn't win. This guy is a great wrestler, If he's not going for the WWE title aleast give this guy another I.C. title shot. WWE should also bring Charile Haas back, and let him and Benjamin win the Tag Titles since there are harldy no tag teams left.

I believe Haas has signed with TNA. Some great matches from Shelton when he first broke out into singles compe. I wondered how long it would take WWE to water him down. "sigh"

For the record, I think Angle makes a much better face. There's just something funny as fuck about his squeeky clean, milk drinking, american hero persona. I loved it and hope he goes back to it sometime.

RVD will return at The Royal Rumble. Hey today it got in my mind that Trish won the Womens Championship from Lita at New Years Rev. so that means that she will retain the belt 12 months or maybe longer and this means that she has the longest reign from all womens...........

Thus bringing the tag divisions in WWE further down the drain. Either way, the purpose of MNM VS The Mexicools at Armageddon is reduced to none now.

The WWE's tag team division is a joke now. It's pretty sad when you allow the World Heavyweight champion and his partner (only due to the Kane/Show match) win the titles. Pathetic, really. MNM and the Mexicools certainly deserve better.

thank u nikodemus and Sub ?ero

btw nikodemus, just to emphasize on the 2 champs again and why there equal

just the sheer fact they were able to switch both champions to each show goes to show that both are capable of doing each others part, thats all im saying, until the boogey man takes over, man that guy is jacked....

they need to make it one roster again, the last few weeks seeing raw on smackdown and vice versa, just feels BETTER

i gotta go with Shane as new GM of Raw, or Vince

Nah Jericho just likes to mess around with fans and do a few practical jokes. He usually puts up TNA banners and that sort of stuff just to get people talking.

I just finally got finished watching Joe/Kobashi. Anybody else seen that match?

Joe is nuts. Who in their right mind would agree to fight Kobashi? Well, I guess somebody tough enough to tolerate about 100 chops in 30 seconds, clearly. And not just any chops, Kobashi chops. And the rest. Those half nelson suplex's are just insane. And the lariat. All of it.
