Sacrifice was great. I really enjoyed the Abyss/Hoyt match. I was on my toes the whole time. But, I really liked all the matches. I liked the Raven & Sabu vs. JJ and Rhyno match. I had guessed it would end that way like a week ago and it did.

The 3LK vs. Brown and James I was dissapointed by. The match was way too short for my taste. That was my "lowlight" of the whole show.

But all in all it was a great PPV.

I agree, Lesnar and/or HHH is going to come back hardcore at Summerslam. Sure HHH isn't supposed to come back till October, but that's not that far away to have a one time build up appearance.

Cena. Jericho isn't resigning so I highly doubt he's winning. God I hate Cena.

Eddie vs. Rey
Rey. Even though Eddie hasn't beaten him yet, it's still going to be Rey.

Orton vs Taker
Orton, just to establish his return.

Matt vs. Edge
I'd say Hardy, but I see this fued going one for a long time, so I may be wrong on this one.

Hogan vs. Michaels
Micheals. Its so fuckin obvious Micheals is winning this one.

Eugene vs. Angle
I want to say Angle for this one, and I think he's got it.

Batista vs. JBL
Batista. No way are they putting the belt around JBL again just yet. Wait till maybe later on this year or early next year for him to get it again. Unless of course they put Orton in the main event, which I don't feel he's earned.

No, it's not. I'm just thinking, WWE.com made a big deal about him talking to WWE, it was like a 4 day thing. Then they said he refused to sign and swept it under the rug. I think that was there way of making it all a surprise, but that's just me. IMO he signed a contract before wwe.com started all that shit, but we shall see..

How can you not care about TNA? It's the next big thing. I'm really looking forward to the TV deal, that's for damn sure. Ratings don't mean shit to me, but wrestling does. Raw sucked, though, the heat HBK got was off the charts. I loved the tease(s) he gave and the way he presented himself in the ring. The sharp shooter topped it off. Yeah, Vince isn't the type of guy to give somebody publicity, then not do anything with him and let him go off and get employment somewhere else. Especially somebody as over as Lesnar. I guess he has that no compete clause in his last WWE contract that prevents him from competing in other feds for a while, but still, there's always other things.



ROH does own, i've seen a few of Samoa Joe's ROH matches and stuff, but it's just so damn hard to view any ROH stuff for free, and I think i'd rather just download TNA's weekly shows than fork over the cash for ROH DVD's.
Still though, if anybody hasn't checked out ROH, I highly recommend you do.

If you want to talk ego, Hogan has quite possibly the biggest ego in wrestling history, with Ric Flair coming in a close second. We're talking about the guy who refused to show up at Wrestlemaina VII unless he walked away with the world title, even though the main event was Bret vs Yokozuna. So they gave him a 30 squash over Yoko after Yoko had just won the belt.

And I'm not understanding why HBK is "over-rated" but Hogan isn't. Micheals worked for years and busted his ass to climg the ladder in the WWE. Hogan has always been in the main event. All of Hogan's title reigns were world titles or tag titles. And then there's of course wrestling prowess. HBK is one of the few "iron men" in the WWE in that he can go all out for over an hour and keep the crowd captivated. Hogan does his same formula over and over: over head punches, body slam, closeline, big boot, Hulk up, leg drop; if that doesn't end the match he repeats it all over again.

I don't think HBK is a lame name. Granted I feel that he hasn't been the Heart Break Kid in years, since he found god, butits still a good moniker for him.

Hogan may be seen as one who has done much for the industry, in terms of promotion, but the indy guy busting his ass and innovating is what keeps the game alive. He was the right body, at the right time with the right pull. On a technical level, he's garbage. He could never move, he could never innovate, he could never do anything more than four moves. He had universal appeal in terms of promos - which, in the day, he had some good ones.

I guess I have a hard time dealing with the fact that so many people flock over him. It just hit me hard tonight. I'm like wtf, is this a joke? I've never been a fan, though. Even back when I was a seven and shit. I always prefered watching Beetlejuice fly around the ring than a leg drop from the Hulkster. Flair is much more "legendary" than Hogan will ever be, so no worries.

My opinions on Raw 08/15/05:

Start of the show: Shawn Michaels

Canadians really do hate HBK. His speech was kind of long and boring but honestly, once the music of Bret Hart hit the arena, I instantly got up and turned up my television. I really thought Bret was there...foolish me. Shawn got me going a couple of times but I overall really wanted the speech to be done and over with.

The Heart Throbs vs. The Big Show

Kind of pointless match. I love when the Big Show is in the ring. He really gets the crowd going. The Heart Throbs were really trying to wear the Big Show down but it didn't quite work. The match was overall quite interesting, ending with the Show slapping the choke on both men, pinning them at the same time.

Eugene Invitational:
Eugene feat Christy Hemme vs. Rene Dupree

The sooner Summerslam comes, the better. Just give Kurt Angle the medal already, jesus. I love how Christy ran away once Kurt got in the ring, thanx for the back up...lol. Is it just me or does Kurt spit everywhere whenever he gets too into his words. As for Rene Dupree, the poor guy never gets any television time. I think it's time to let him go.

Handicap Match:
Carlito & Chris Jericho (feat. Eric Bischoff) vs. John Cena

I find it very very very hard to believe that John could defeat a intercontinental champion & Chris Jericho at the same time, with Eric on the side. The match was overall OK, nothing really to yap about. Though, the shot to the face with the chair looked extremely painful.

Diva Search 2005:

And the winner is...Ashley. What did I say? I knew that she had the highest chance of winning. I'm not really upset that she lost cause she defintily has great potential in becoming a good RAW Diva. Leyla on the other hand I did not see as a RAW Diva, instead I saw Leyla as a Smackdown! Diva. I really hope I see Leyla in the WWE in the next couple of months. More than likely she will. WWE really needs to stop with these Diva Searches. They are really boring.

Val Venis vs. Edge

Boring match. Get rid of Val already...his is very pointless. I mean, atleast put him in a storyline with Rob Conway or something. Edge gets on ym nerves as well...the briefcase has got to go!! & his make-out sessions with Lita need to go as well. Pointless match...flop of the night!

The Hurricane feat. Super Stacy vs. Rob Conway

Very good match. Rob Conway impressed me in this match even though I still think he is a joke. The Hurricane on the other hand bores me. His gimmick does not impress me & his overall wrestling skills aren't the greatest. I'm glad Rob won the match.

Kurt Angle vs. Hulk Hogan

I am very glad to see Hogan back in the ring even though you can tell hhis age is getting to his wrestling. The match did overall impress me. I knew HBK would make an appearance during the match, ruining everything. HBK puts Hogan in a sharpshooter which defintily gets the crowd going.

Raw tonight was overall good. There is a lot going on which is great. I can't wait till next Monday after summerslam.

I've always said that there are only a few people who know how to really work a crowd: Micheals, Hogan, Austin, The Rock and maybe Flair. Must admit htat I too was fooled by HBK when Bret's music hit, but not when Hogan's hit!

Yeah, the Hogan lovers (myself included!) outweigh the Hogan haters out there, and always will. Hogan is starting to show his age, but he has said that he'll know when the time is right to step aside, and let the new generation shine, but I feel that wrestling, WWE in fact, need all these older vets of the ring like Taker, Flair (for the love of all that is holy, not wrestling), and Hogan to show the new guys how it's done and for the ones who actually can still go (not Flair), if they feel they still can, why not let them wrestle?!

Raw last night was good, not great, but better than SD has been!

Also, one last thing, no access to ROH in Canada, would love to see it some day perhaps, still don't care about TNA!!
