Good question...here is what I got from prowrestlingscoops.com
-While Trish Stratus is technically cleared to return to the ring, insiders are of the impression that the diva wants to take a few more weeks off to rest her body. The creative team has therefore been in no hurry to book an angle for her on-air return; rumors and speculation, meanwhile, suggest that Stratus' first angle back will involve the Diva Search winner.
So, I guess she will be returning in a few weeks or so. Also, is it not quite obvious that even if Leyla does not win the Diva Search she will still get a contract. I mean, C'MON, she is smokin!!

Hmmm...I'm not sure to whether I should like Raw tonight or not
Chris Jericho's Speech: Honestly, I found it kind of pointless. I mean, we've all heard Chris moan and boast at the fact that he is "going to take" John Cena's championship title. Ok then...moving on!
Big Show & Shelton/Snitksy & Masters: I really cannot stand Snitsky and Masters. I really do think they are pointless wrestlers, especially Snitsky. This match, to my suprise, was quite interesting. Shelton is going down pretty bad, he is becoming more and more of a bad wrestler. As for Big Show, he really does get the crowd going and he is what made the match a good one.
Vince's Big Announcment: This was really no big announcment to me. I knew that one way or another Matt would return to Raw. Actually, Vince got me going and making me believe that the possible announcment would be that Lesnar or Bret Hart would be returning.
Eugene's Invitational: Tatanka!! Wow, this was a suprise. Christy is hott as always and Eugene just makes me laugh.
Val Venis/Conway: I hadn't seen Val in quite a while so I was a bit shocked to see him. Conway is a joke to me yet I see a story between him and Val growing and tensions getting higher.
Diva Search: Unlike others, I find the Search interesting. I mean, the Women's Division needs a lot of help. It's been a while since the last time we saw two women battling it out on Raw. Summer is gone, didn't really like her much. My vote goes to Leyla, that sexy beast!! Rob was funny as hell!!
Cena/Carlito: I'm actually currently watching it...I can't say much about it.

YAY! I'm glad Summer is gone for good. But I am really pissed off with what they did to the Undertaker. He gets a fair title shot and then loses it to fucking JBL. What is that shit? I'm sick of JBL alltogether and Summerslam is now sorta ruined with another batista/JBL match. I also read that Vince is a little angry at batista's matches so don't tell me that JBL is gonna get it of Batista at Summerslam.
And fuck Randy Orton. He doesn't deserve to fight the Undertaker at all. He's only there because he rapes divas backstage and attracts every female fan in the world. I might be female myself but I hate that little shit.

Not sure if you've realized this or not, but the Diva Search is not going to help the Women's Division. None of these have any wrestling backround and are only being hired for their looks and charisma (which none of them have). To me it looks like the Women's Division is pretty much on life support and they should really just kill it off. There isn't a single talented female wrestler left in the WWE (not like there were any to begin with).
I too was plesently surprised by Tatanka. That mach made me want to dig up my tape of Wrestlemania VII to re watch his match with Shawn Micheals (which was the highlight of the show, even if it was the curtain jerker).
And another surprise was the deafening "This match sucks" chant during Conway and Venis. I havn't seen a crowd get like that in a while. Just further proof that WWE has no idea what the fans want anymore.

You do realize the reason for Taker losing to JBL is because Hussan was intended to face Batista at Summerslam, but due to WWE having to pull his charecter off the show they decided to use JBL, seeing as how a face vs face main event for the belt is not a smart move.
And what's this about rape? You do know it's all a show right? Orton is one of the best young talent WWE has.

Prediction: Either at Summerslam or after, Lita screws Edge and gets back with Matt.
I think the WHOLE thing, from the start, was a work.

N no no no no no no. I meant they don't have charisma. Most of them are pretty hot, but they all have the personalities of frozen fish.

Russo is back!

Well, kinda. Interesting to see who's on that roster though. Espcecially Abyss.
We might yet see Sting return to action, who knows.

RVD is finally making a return...
- Rob Van Dam is expected to return by October. Rob is actually shooting for next month but we'll see. He has a feud ready to go with Carlito Caribbean Cool if WWE creative doesn't ruin it. (prowrestlingscoops.com)
I am personally excited about this return. It's be a while since the last time he was in a ring.
Also, can anyone answer me this...wasn't CM Punk supposed to make an appearance on Sunday Night Heat?

Yeah, Raw was ok last night. Tatanka's return was cool, I've liked almost all of the classic stars returns, all but Jake Roberts. I could hav done without seeing him!
I agree with whoever said that the Diva contestants have got the personalities of frozen fish, but I'd say most of them are about as bright as burned out lightbulbs!
Matt Hardy's return was not unexpected, but I was kinda hoping Vince would have announced Lesner's return, but when he said, "has been causing quite a stir backstage" I knew he meant Hardy.
Orton sucks money's balls! He doesn't even deserve to wash Taker's jockstrap, let alone wrestle him! And where does Vince and "creative" get off screwing Taker like they did? If this is indeed going to be his last run, he deserves a shot at the one World title he's never won, more so than JBL, who is a fucking loser!
To answer your question about SD vs. Raw 2006, Kabal0013, yeah, I believe those two match types were mentioned as confirmed in the game.

Tatanka was one of my favourites when I used to watch wrestlnig in the old WWF days. Himself and Crush, I have no idea what happened to Crush though...
It seems that Lesnar has declined a return to WWE but the way things are going these days I'm having trouble figuring out if this is a work or not...

That was Crush? Oh my... I don't remember any of that... lol I remember him using a finisher which was quite appropriately some sort of submission move in which he "crushed" the opponent's head... and that's pretty much it :|

And you call yourself a wrestling fan, shame on you, LOL!!! Yeah, if you never really paid much attention to WCW in it's dying years, then it is hard to remember that Brian Adams, aka, Crush, was in Kronik and in WWFE as a member of DOA. BTW, _MKS_ Crush was never in NOD, he was Crush, in the group Demolition, DOA, and Kronik. Who remembers Kronik's failed, oh so horrible return to the WWE, with Steven Richards as their manager, huh, anyone??
A quick dvd recomendation, "WWE Holdiday Tribute to the Troops", this is a great dvd, and if you were fans of both Smackdown from Iraq specials like I was/am, then you should check out this dvd.

Actually MKgeek Crush WAS in the Nation (it was VERY shortlived). He joined the same time Savio Vega joined. Niether lasted long in the Nation and both left the group to start up their own respective groups. Its what triggered the Borriquas and the Diciples of Apocalyse to form. And that's why that year all three stables fueded with each other. Interesting fact, his joining The Nation of Domination was he return to the WWE, and when he started using the heart punch as his finisher.

Cool, thanks for clearing that up, I guess it was so short lived, what I don't even remeber it, but thanks again.
Bret Hart and Dusty Rhodes have all been spotted at WWE Headquarters over the past few says negotiating their possible returns in some way shape or form. WWE hopes to induct both into the HOF next year, if they're interested.
