Paul Heyman: Masato Tanaka. He's a sick fuck!
Vince McMahon: Tatanka? Jesus, he's gone all cat-eyed! Did he have surgery?
Paul Heyman: No, Vince. Masato Tanaka. Tanaka.
Vince McMahon: (picking up phone) Johnny Ace? Get me Tatanka!"
Seriously, I said the exact same thing, with Akio in place of the Dudley's.
In other news, buy Sting's official coat!
Chalk it up to poor security but some wanker jumped the gaurd rail and stole it from him in an event here a few years ago. Bastard. Hope he gets nailed.

Smackdown! never seems to satisfy me. I somehow always get bored or begin to day dream everytime I watch it...
Opening:
Chapter 2: Rey Mysterio/Eddie Guerrero:
I'm kind of getting bored with this story. I wasn't really looking foward to Cahpter 2 but I was really anxious to find out what in the world was the second part of his secret and then he decides to tell us at the end of the show. POINTLESS!!
MNM & Jillian Hall/Booker T & Chris Benoit: O
k, let me just begin by saying Jillian is a joke! It is completely obvious that 'mole' on her face is fake. I do believe though that her story does have potential. Alright, and as for the match, I think it was the best match of the night. Booker T was overall what got me going in the match. MNM are becoming worse & worse. It's kind of sad. I'm sure Chris & Booker would had gotten this one if it wasn't for Melina. Jillian actually impressed me when she tackled down Sharmell. A story between her & Sharmell will be pretty good but I wanted to see more of a story between Jillian & Candice.
The Contract Signing: Batista/JBL:
There really isn't much I can say about this. I am extremely excited at the fact that the match for summer slam will be a 'No Holds Barred' match. Definitly looking foward to that.
Road Warrior Animal & Heidenreich in Action:
LOL! How long exactly was this match against...um...I already forgot the other two wrestlers (thats how much I cared about them). This match got me going though. Animal and Heienreich definitly did a number on those two.
Randy Orton's Speech:
I saw this coming!! Undertaker vs. Randy Orton...a match I am definitly looking foward to at Summer Slam.
Christian/Rey Mysterio:
I'm sorry but this match really blowed! Many may disagree with me but the match just really bored me to death. I'm sure I would have been more interested in the match if I cared about Christian but no...I don't enjoy his wrestling.
Chapter 2: Continued:
Not so much a secret but a 'not-so-interesting' chapter. Yawn...a dragged on segment of the show that I could care less about. This feud between these two guys really needs to end, it's getting old.
I'm looking foward to Raw next Monday...I heard Hulk Hogan is supposed to make an appearance. See you guys then...

Benoit, Flair (yes, really), Angle, I would have said Christian and Jericho too but uh, whaddya know? They've actually been getting title shots recently. Hell's thermostat must be broken or jammed on "frosty" or something.
I can understand not putting the belt on Angle though (and Flair, obviously). Angle's neck is pretty dodgey and he may not have many matches left in him, and if they put a title on him he'd be very active, which would shorten his already short career moreso. Best to just have him around in the background and then pull out classic five star matches every so often (like he did with HBK). It's win-win that way.
Not really. The champion doesn't have to be very active, and these days they aren't. Batista and JBL hardly have any matches these days, except on PPV of course.
There were tons of times when Triple H was around where he'd simply come to the show to taunt the challenger or champion, and then not even wrestle.
I wish Christian was the world champion and Jericho the WWE champion. Everything would be so much better that way.
Oh and people if you want to see a pretty good cruiserweight match... Check out London vs. Nunzio on Velocity. I read the spoilers and it sounds like a great match.

Truthfully, I've run outta people to think of to throw into the world title scene, all but one that is. RVD. I know he's sidlined right now, and I know he's got a IC title push coming up when he comes back, but hear me out. Let RVD have RVD type matches, let him do his promos his way, and give him the match lengths he deserves and you have one of the best talents in the WWE. I still hold his match with Balls Mahoney at Anarchy Rulez '99 as one of my favorite RVD matches, outside of the Jerry Lynn fued. Balls and RVD went on for what seemed like and hour and didn't have a single slow point in the match. RVD pulled out all of the stops for that one: his usual series moves (quick sweep followed by high round house followed by rolling thunder, or reversed), split leg moonsault, suicide flip from the top rope over the barracade and into the crowd, a sick Van Daminator, and the Five Star Frog Splash. Balls brought his A game too (yeah Balls can actually wrestle folks).
It's really sad how WWE has missused the ECW talent over the years. Taz(z), Jerry Lynn, Lance Storm, RVD, Justin Credible, Mike Awesome, Rhino, and Tommy Dreamer were all able to not only put on top quality matches, but world title matches at that. But none of them were put in the World title scene.
Taz - Shows up with an extra Z attached to his name and chokes out Angle. But wait, here comes a fued with Jerry Lawler in witch Lawler wins, and now he's a commentator. Not only that but he's Micheal Cole's lacky.
Jerry Lynn - Recieves the kiss of death: he's placed in the lightheavy wieght division. Lynn doesn't last long since he isn't given anything to work with, along with that he didn't have RVD around yet to prove how good he really could have been. He leaves and joins TNA.
Lance Storm - My what a pathetic story. Once thought to be the second coming of Bret Hart, and to go out the way he did was sad. Lance Storm leaves ECW at the top of the tag team devision with Justin Credible and heads to WCW. there he wins every single title short of the World title. WWE buys out WCW and Lance comes with the deal. Lance never recieves a single push. Austin comes out during one of Lance's matches with a pillow and blanket and humiliates him saying his matches were "borring". And they were. How many times did we have to see Lance go from match to match with nothing solid at all. So Lance gets a lame dancing gimmik. It's the only time he gets over. And then he dissapears, never to be seen again until ECW One Night Stand were he has one of his last televised matches. He's now retired. Never one a single world title yet had all of the in ring skills to do so.
RVD - Wow, this showed promiss for about a month and then he wrestled Jeff Hardy. RVD does the Van Daminator and the surfboard with the chair, and both moves are banned. Infact RVD is not allowed to use a chair unless he's in a harcore match. So they make RVD the hardcore champion (a smack in the face IMO). So when the Harcore belt is finally done away with RVD gets put in the IC slot, but with only about half of his move list. He's been stuck in this limbo ever since.
Justin Credible - My favorite ECW wrestler of all time. So you can understand my dissapointment when I saw him in the WWE without the goatee (because only Autin can be bald with a goatee), in tights (because Austin is the only one allowed to wear jean shorts), without his singapore cane (because WWE frowns upon that type of thing, unless you're HHH with a sledge hammer), and ON TOP OF IT ALL put in one of the worst stables in WWE history :X-Factor. He was teamed with X-Pac and Albert. And if that wasn't enough I don't believe he won a single singles match in his WWE tenure. Maybe WWE would have used him better if he put a jockstrap on his face and wrestled under Aldo Montoya again. WWE fucked up twice here too; they could have teamed Lance and Credible in doing so save both of their careers and boost the poor tag title scene with them reforming as the Impact Players. But WWE isn't that smart. I was glad to see him leave only because it meant he could be Justin Credible again wherever he went.
Mike Awesome - WCW is to blame here, but Awesome did deserve it. Awesome leaves ECW in the worst way possible (with his world belt) and signs with WCW behind ECW's back. WCW has no idea what to do with Awesome seeing as how they've never had a guy that big that could actually do more than the same three moves over again **cough cough** Kevin Nash and Big Show **cough cough**. So they give him a crappy 70's gimmik, on top of saying he loves fat chicks. When he finally gets to WWE they suffer the same problem WCW did, they had no clue where to put him. You get the picture. Eventually he gets droped to the bottom feeder shows (Heat and Velocity) and then inevitable dropped. But did he lose his skill over that time? With the ECW pay-per view showed the big guy still has it.
Rhino - I don't know how they srewed this one up. Take the currect ECW World Heavyweight Champion. The right idea would be to put him in the WWE world title scene, or at least in the main event no? Guess not. By the why (W)WE don't know how to spell names right, so Rhino became Rhyno. And with the I went his career. Rhyno got nothing, seemed to be a common thing with these ECW guys. Most of 'em tended to suck big time in WWE. I guess that's they're fault because the WWE writers can't be to blame, no not the guys who wrote Mae Young giving birth to a hand, no they're not to blame. So Rhyno finally gets released and is now doing much better in TNA.
Tommy Dreamer - What a sad sight. Dreamer to me was the guy in ECW anyone could cheer for. He came in and earned the fans respect by getting one of the worst beating ever in the ring. The guy screwed up his back royally, but came out anyway because he wanted to put on a show for the fans. Dreamer was probably ECW's best go-to-face. Plus he's just like Raven without the attitude. So WWE exploits his wanting to put on a good show for the fans and makes him their go-to-hardcore guy. But theirs a catch, you can't do the kind of hardcore like you did in ECW. No no no no, this is WWE. So just swing that can thing a lot, here's a garbage can lid, and a fire extinguisher. Have fun, but remember nothing to extreme...Oh and don't wrestle either, you see the fans hate guys who wrestle. And by the way, we've banned the use of DDT's now so you can't do that either.
There are countless more guys who WWE has misused that they got from not only ECW but WCW aswell and never gave them a serious shot. People like Raven, Stevie Richards, Al Snow, etc. While these guys were trying their best busting their asses WWE was too busy giving pushes to Billy Gunn, Scott Steiner, Test and Goldberg(when they finally got that piece of shit), all of which who totally sucked but that didn't matter anyway.
I know I come off a really bitter on this subject matter, but that's because I really am.

That's true I guess. Batista isn't really that active, he hasn't had a match in a few weeks. Maybe he should be more active though.
And I agree with pretty much everything you said SoS. I'm sure most fans would actually. I think RVD could be an outstanding champ if given the chance to just be RVD (maybe minus the drug references, heh). I didn't know the van daminator had been banned either.
Makes me want to type a 5278945729 word rant on how much a I hate the obsessive safety.

Just thought you guys might not know this, and I want to plug the big match for Summerslam!
Combined, Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan have competed in one dozen SummerSlam matches. Over the years, their opponents have included such huge names as Andre the Giant, Ultimate Warrior, Razor Ramon and Triple H. Never, however, have they squared off against each other. Below are the SummerSlam records each Superstar is walking into the event with. Both are undefeated in one-on-one competition. That will all change when they put they finally meet up at SummerSlam.
HULK HOGAN (4-0)
1988 - Hulk Hogan & Randy Savage def. Ted DiBiase & Andre the Giant
1989 - Hulk Hogan & Brutus Beefcake def. Randy Savage & Zeus
1990 - Hulk Hogan def. Earthquake via disqualification
1991 - Hulk Hogan & Ultimate Warrior def. Sgt. Slaughter & Col. Mustafa
HBK (4-3-1, undefeated in one-on-one matches)
1989 - The Rougeaus & Rick Martel def. The Rockers & Tito Santana
1990 - Power & Glory def. The Rockers
1992 - Shawn Michaels vs. Rick Martel ended in a double countout
1993 - Shawn Michaels def. Mr. Perfect via countout
1995 - Shawn Michaels def. Razor Ramon in a Ladder Match
1996 - Shawn Michaels def. Vader
2002 - Shawn Michaels def. Triple H
2003 - Triple H def. Kevin Nash, Bill Goldberg, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton & Shawn Michaels in an Elimination Chamber Match

Yeah, some champs these days are pretty lazy. But, look at Cena on Raw, he's a pretty active champ, because Bitchoff forces him to be, cause Bitchoff is the better GM, where as Teddy Long could give a damn, that's why Batista looks lazy compared to Cena.
LOL! You wish Christian and Jericho were the champs cause everything would be so much better, riiiiggghhht! Granted they are both good wrestlers, but I just don't think either has strong enough drawing power to be champs for an extended amount of time, but they could be transitional champs, like, Cena loses to Jericho, and Angle, who is a better champ then either one of them, wins it from Jericho. Or, and this is asking alot, say Taker was the number one contender on the SD side, Christian, by some miracle, beats either JBL or Batista, and Taker kills Christian for the title. So in all actuality, I answered Candyman1014's question, I'd love to see Angle and Taker get the gold one more/last time.
Hulk, love the Summerslam sig brother!

I caught Afterburn last week. And who thought of that stupid Eddie/Rey/Dominick angle? That has to be one of the worst storylines of all time.I guess the WWE finally decided to cash in on the Maury Show.lol, the WWE needs better writers.
I was talking about "forgotten storylines" with my cousin today.I hate the way the WWE forgets about old stories.Back in 97 or 98 sometime,KANE WAS BURNT.Now 05,They make it look like he never was in a fire.A storyline that they did forget about was that "Kurt Angle:The Olympic Gold Rapist" story. If I were the WWE writers,I would've made Kurt Angle fight to stay at Smackdown just so he could get near Booker T's wife.It would've been alot more entertaining.I think I might've been the only person who liked that storyline.I didn't like it like that but it was funny. And on a final note,EA should get the rights to make WWE games.EA made WCW Mayhem and I thought it was a pretty good game. But just think of the stuff EA can do now:
Fight Night's Game Engine+WWE Wrestlers+WWE Moves=A VERY good wrestling game.
Just get rid of the "Stick Control" Fight Night has.It wouldn't fit in a wrestling game.I did enjoy SVR and DOR.

Argh! Jesus fucking Christ!
Just after I calmed myself down about WWE's stupid obsessive "safey"...
"Vince McMahon has sent word down through WWE that he wants cruiserweights to tone down several risky high flying moves, unofficially banning maneuvers such as the 450 splash and the shooting star press.
Apparently the number of injuries has caused McMahon to decide that high flying risky maneuvers are simply not worth it. The unofficial ban actually went into effect around two weeks ago and when Paul London used the shooting star press against Nunzio on a recent edition of Velocity, he was told by company officials not to use it again and to come up with a different finisher.
London along with other WWE cruiserweights are upset about having to tone down their style. Many in the industry are comparing this unofficial ban to the ban of the tombstone piledriver where WWE officials only let the Undertaker and Kane use it in dramatic situations."
Source: PWInsider.com
RIP all wrestling moves except for punching.
But tune into WWE RAW next week to see 3 interview segments, half an hour of talentless woman acting like children, two musical performances by our very own WWE superstars, and an appearance by none other than Hulk Hogan!

How gay...ever since ECW and WCW disapeared I noticed the WWE toned things down a lot. They don't need to put on crazy shows anymore because they have no real competition. So now we are reduced to watching punching and the odd closeline. Might as well watch boxing the way things are going...

Well there's always UFC, and they never seem to dissapoint. I wish I was able to watch Boiling Point on Augest 20th (the card looks halfway decent), but I'm going to be at Otacon.

UFC isn't bad but I don't enjoy watching it as much as wrestling. The fights I have seen are all the same...both fighters feel out their opponent for the first bit then finally they attempt to start throwing punches and or take down their opponent into a submission. After they stop playing cat and mouse the fight usually ends real quick when someone sneeks under the radar and lands a knockout punch of puts in a submission hold and makes the guy tap. It's just to fast and not as interesting. At least to me...

Well here's a funny thing. Bret Hart shows up at the WWE HQ and websites post a picture of him at the HQ with his head shaved - at least that's what the news sites wrote after seeing him with a cap. Now, we see him shake Vince's hand with the same old long hair. Way to go "people who make the funny captions".

Just goes to show you can't always believe what you read online!
To answer your question from earlier DRFatality, about who came up with the Eddie/Rey/Dommink crap, it was apparentlly Rey himself. Now this is uncomfirmed, but that's what I heard. Bet he's wishing he'd never thought about this!
About this whole Bret/Vince thing, come on people, don't make such a big deal about it, and act like you never thought it would happen. Over the last few years, there have been tons of rumors about a possible meeting between Bret and Vince, and the two already have met once and reconciled, so this latest meeting was not unexpected. I think it's great.

Mike Mooneyham reported in the Charleston Post and Courier column today, that "Triple H and Ric Flair are scheduled to return to WWE television Oct. 3 when Raw makes its USA network debut." The return of both stars will be a great way for the WWE to kick off their cable TV jump.
As reported earlier this week, the plans for Ric Flair vs. Triple H match for SummerSlam have been scrapped.
I wonder why they're bring HHH and Flair back this late.
