I don't know, Crowd went nuts with everything Cena said and did on SD! a few days ago. I could definlly see him as WWE's next big star. the rumored WM match is JBL Vs Cena for the WWE title, I think a Cena Title win will cement him as WWE's top star and the most over superstar on the roster, if he isn't already.
As for Taker. he may not dress fully like the old deadman taker hell, they even added the Taker symbol on his pants. but everything else about deadman is there. the cold entrance, zombie mannerizum, his ring-style, the eye make-up, The old hat and threnchcoat, even his feuds. the casket segment on SD! was just awesome I couldn't give shit what taker is wearing. or remember when he hung Orlando Jordon on his symbol a couple of months ago. everything about the old Undertaker is there, the last thing I think about when I see Taker on TV is what hes wearing.
As for Bearer, I heard he isn't in good health to appear back on TV right now sence he recently had surgery to remove some of the fat from his body.

Yeah, Olympic, I agree with ya that SD was good. That Tag title match, I've never laughed so hard! Eddie trying to play the referee was gold, the Taker/Heidenreich segment was awesome, I hope Taker buries Heidenreich forever. I wonder how CCC is going to carry out his "resolution" to get rid of GM TL?

Exactly!
Drfatality, I agree and disagree with what you said. I like your idea for Kane and Lita, but I disagree with the stupid "robot" sounding voice. Going back to his mask again might help Kane in the long run, but not being able to talk would be a bad move. Having Lita do all the talking would also suck!
As for Taker, I'm quite happy with how he is now, and since his retirement is just around the corner, and this is not just me talking, this is also from the "horse's mouth" so to speak, so I just don't see a complete resurection of the "deadman".
Canadian fans, or all wrestling fans, go to www.tsn.ca/wrestling and you'll see an article about predictions for 2005. I mention this cause some of them, or all of them are quite bold and interesting. Check them out and please feel free to post comments/questions.

I just don't see it happening with John Cena. For some strange reason I feel like there is something missing.Maybe it's his special move.
Man,I seen part of that Taker segment. But News40 interupted it and showed this poker showhttp://mortalkombatonline.com/ov7/themes/Frost/emoticons/furious.gif>
I heard about that,He's going to look alot diffrent now without the fat.
MKG,What if Kane and Lita didn't talk at all?If they ever do come up with a Couple like that they shouldn't talk...Just spill their emotions out in the ring. That would make their matches special..God knows what they could do in the ring.
Jeff Hardy did it again:
Jeff Hardy showed up late to the December 21st Impact! Taping. He arrived only 30 minutes prior to the start of the taping. This has become a regular occurance with Hardy, which is why it makes sense that TNA Management decided to send Hardy home instead of using him on the show.
Jeff Hardy had a comment about it:
"ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ"-Jeff Hardy.

I just don't think it would be a good idea for Lita and Kane not being able to talk. Might start out good, but may hurt both their careers and the WWE, cause people want to hear the wrestlers talk, some look forward to the interview and backstage segments, it would get dull watching the two of them doing nothing during a backstage segment.
As for Jeff Hardy, he'd better watch himself, the WWE fired him cause he kept showing up late and/or whenever he felt like it, also cause he wouldn't get tested for drugs. He doesn't want to blow his last chance at being a superstar of wrestling.

Yeah, I still can't get over how much of a bad idea it is for him to use that as a finisher. It's hardly 'electrifying'. I'm sure if he had something that came off a bit quicker - even if it was just a DDT, he'd appeal to me a lot more, and I could see him being the next big thing. While we're on the topic of finishers, Orton should use that backbreaker move he does as his finisher instead of the RKO in my opinion. It looks brutal, and he can actually get it right.
On Kane's voice: How do they explain this? First he sounds like a robot, now... nothing? His mechanical sounding voice really cemented his "monster" thing for me - sorta like how Taker's entrance music and rolled back eyes really locks his character. I think Kane could go back to the mask and still make it work (he'd just need some sort of staged accident again - burning car wreck at the hands of Snitsky or something). If Rey and Juvi can do it, then surely Kane can.
Also, Jeff Hardly is my role model. What a badass - he's so badass, he doesn't even care about not caring. *jams to RATM's Killing in the Name of*

Jeff Hardy, TNA are going to make him their champion (soon) and he does this.
"...Disgusting" Goro (MK movie)
Anyway, the greatest wrestling match was Flair V Piper at Bash at the Beach. It was the match that truly made me a fan. That was the greatest moment in wrestling when Piper kicked out after getting hit by the knuckle dusters by the four horseman...and Madusa throwing the WWE womens title in the trash. Bischoff is such an asshole thats why i like him.

The Greatest rivalry: Savage V Page
The greatest tag team: Harlem Heat, used strength and speed and have been the best tag team in any promotion theyve been in
Next WWE star: Forget about Cena and give Booker the title, but none that i see.

I dunno about everyone else but New Years Revolution looks like its going to be a gud 'un. Maybe 2005 will be more eventful then 2004.
Who does everyone else think might return to the WWE this year? I heard Brock is trying to get back in Vince's good books.

Don't get your hopes up. It's still in the rumored stage. WWE, or I should say Vince, is also rumored to be thinking of brining back Austin, Foley, and Hogan (now to be called "Hollywood", cause the deal WWE had with Marvel over the name "Hulk" expired last year) who may be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. The plan that I heard, was for Austin to fight Rock, not Rock vs JBL. Of course if Rock/JBL does happen, we know JBL ain't leaving Mania with the title. Course it doesn't matter who JBL faces, he ain't leaving with the title period!

Official Raw Preview for next week:
From WWE.com
New Year's Revolution Fallout Jan. 10, 2005:
What will be the fallout from New Years Revolution? Surely none of the six participants in last Sundays Elimination Chamber will ever be the same, but who was able to walk out as the new World Heavyweight Champion? And what kind of shape will they be in with only three weeks until the Royal Rumble?
Also, Kane was out of action since last October when Gene Snitsky crushed his throat at Taboo Tuesday. Did the Big Red Monster come back from the injury too soon, or did he exact revenge on the diabolical Snitsky?
Plus what is the status of all the other championships on Raw? Was Trish Stratus able to reclaim the Womens Championship in the latest chapter of the Trish and Lita rivalry; was Shelton Benjamin able to stave off the challenge of the talented but arrogant Maven? And did Christian and Tyson Tomko get a taste for gold and win the World Tag Team Championships from Eugene & William Regal?
Be sure to tune in to Monday Night Raw (9/8 CT; Spike TV) for all the answers.

This is an update to my last post concerning Mania 21:
Austin Return Update, Rock To Meet With WWE This Week:
- On a recent radio interview, Triple H confirmed that the Rock will be returning at Wrestlemania and that Brock Lesnar has shown an interest in returning. When asked why the wrestling business is currently not doing as well as expectations, Triple H said it was a combination of Mick Foley and Steve Austin getting hurt and Rock leaving for Hollywood.
- Steve Austin is expected to be involved in Wrestlemania in some capacity, but nothing definite has yet been decided. There is an outside chance that he may actually wrestle on the PPV, but most consider it to be less than 50-50.
- The Rock is expected to meet with WWE officials in the next week or two to find out what plans they have in store for him and what his role at Wrestlemania will be. Rock will probably pitch his own ideas and considering the amount of power he has, he can basically do whatever he wants. It is expected that officials will probably push a Rock vs. JBL idea to him, probably with the intention that Layfield be put over since Rock wont be staying. If they follow that course, the John Cena title win would be pushed back until after Wrestlemania since long-term plans are still to have a re-draft.

I hope most of these ideas go through. Wrestlemania would be great if Austin, Foley, The Rock and "Hollywood" were at it. Though all Wrestlemanias are usually great. But as for the Draft, it better be good this time. The last draft sucked in my opinion.

You know, I would love to see a JBL/Rock feud. these guys are two of the best mic workers in the WWE today bar none. JBL/Rock would definlly be a fantastic feud IMO. and if this is true. The Rock needs to stay on SmackDown! perminatly!. or at least make appearences there from now on. I was against putting The Rock on Raw and still am. SD! is his show for god sakes.
I just read that Paul Heyman is backstage on SmackDown! right now and might even be back on the show tonight. At least that puts the "Heyman gone from WWE" rumor to rest.

I think you mean Rock would OBVIOUSLY lose. He's a jobber. He puts people over, and JBL can't lose the championship to the Rock because Rocky wouldn't stay.
I do agree with Olympic Hero. a JBL and Rock feud? I think that's a guaranteed draw to every single smackdown! show and pay per view where the two would meet.

Dude, what the hell crack are you smoking?? You calling the Rock a jobber just cause he put a few people over? You obviouslly don't know what a jobber is. Any way, the only reason the Rock would put over JBL is simply cause the idiots in WWE creative and Vince just love the asshole so much, and cause they know that the Rock wouldn't be returning on a full-time basis. Any how, all these suppossed returns are just in the rumored stage and likely won't be made official until we hear it straight from the WWE not these rediculous rumor sites!
Olympic_Hero, about Heyman, I read the spoilers for SD this week, and Heyman is infact on the show, involved with Taker and Heidenreich. SD this week looks like a crap show, not much in the line of good matches, just a bunch of stupid behind the scenes stuff. Though, without spoiling to much, the Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guererro match may peak your interest, and the Taker/Heidenreich/Heyman bit is interesting.
No, The Rock IS a jobber. He doesn't win matches. He puts people over by losing. That's all he does. Multi time WWE champion or not, WWE symbol or not, Overall Entertainment symbol or not, one of the youngest IC champs ever or not, former world's champion or not, that's all in the past. Right now, the Rock is a jobber.

Anyone see that 6 cd DVD set of Hulk Hogan the WWE is coming out with? Looks pretty damn cool, tons and tons and tons of old ass matches with Andre the Giant, Savage, Dibase, Valentine, Bundy, etc..
I am not a huge hogan fan but I might buy this one..
Sorry if this has been posted, if it's new and anyone wants I will post the complete DVD Match listings.
