lol, when I first got to Chargestone Cave, I caught 4 of them, just because I knew they were a bitch to find, and I thought about raising one... Anyway, yes, Eelektross doesn't learn any new moves after becoming one, so don't evolve it until you are sure you have the moves you want. Also, Spark's pretty darn weak despite the paralysis, are you sure you want to pass up Wild Charge? You could try to make it mixed, but I think it would be better to go for either Physical or Special. It has stronger, more varied Special options (Flamethrower, Grass Knot, Acid Spray, Hidden Power, Thunderbolt) , but Coil only works on boosting Physical moves it learns (Crunch, Wild Charge, Dragon Tail, Dragon Claw, Brick Break, Acrobatics). Go based on what you need in a team.
As for Ghetis, just over level, but if he's picking your team apart with one Pokemon, then you should consider investing in a way to stop that Pokemon, and any others like it. See what weaknesses your team has.

Team: Emboar, Ferrothorn, Seismitoad, Golurk, Chandelure and Krookodile
I suppose I could use Reshiram to take it out but then I'd have to sacrifice another team mate and I'm not a fan of using legendaries. Ferrothorn can resist the Dragon Pulse, but it also knows Flamethrower so that isn't happening. I also have 4 Pokemon weak to water, and it knows Surf.
Unbelievable! I picked the wrong Pokémon!

Not the wrong pokemon, just the synergy's off. Just get something that can take Water and Fire hits well. Thick Fat Walerine comes to mind, maybe you can trade to get one?

I'm playing Black, not Black 2. Is it even possible to trade non-native Pokemon without the national dex?

What is this dream world stuff?

It's a magical place where you register your game on the website and catch pokemon with Hidden Abilites. Just activate wireless on your game, select Online in the C-Gear, turn on Game Sync, put a pokemon in your game to sleep so it can dream (can't be in your party), then you can enter its dream and collect items and play games to befriend pokemon for about an hour. Before you leave Dream World, you can only take one of the pokemon you befriended back, and however many items you pick up (most are berries that you can plant in Dream World anyway). After that, wake the pokemon up in your game through Game Sync, then click Wireless in C-Gear, and go to Entralink to capture the new pokemon and collect any dream items you found.

It's an online game linked to Pokemon Black & White (and possibly X & Y, following their release).
The game consists of various areas where you can play out events, grow berries, and obtain all sorts of pokemon. The pokemon you obtain in Dream World will be transferred to the EntraLink in Black/White upon disconnecting from Dream World.
According to the official site, the available pokemon changes everyday, at the makers' discresion.
EDIT: Dang it, Jerrod! I wanted to help!

Sounds annoying. But I'll check that out. Do you need to unlock it or something first?

Nope. All you need to do is register your name (you get the code off the cartridge, it explains on the site how to get it). As far as I'm aware, you can do it immediately. All Dream World pokemon are at level 10, and when caught, have your Trainer ID, so you can use them right away.
My current Emerald team
Rayqauza level 73
Groudon level 70
Kyogre level 70
Regice level 43
Registeel level 40
Regirock level 40
My older team had some HM slaves (Tropius for Rock Smash/Strength/Flash) and a Marill for the water HMs. I had Regice (who has Hail, Blizzard, Icy Wind and Amnesia for moves), my Blaziken, Sableye (fucking love it) and Rayquaza. Will probably box Regirock and Registeel for Sableye and Blaziken,

Haha... That team would turn my current Black team into Pokemon pudding... Let's see...
Liepard
Eelektrik
Swanna
Crustle
Liligant
... And Stunfisk.
I can't be bothered to remember what level they are.... But, for the record, Swanna OHKO's almost everything in this game. I don't care how bad the competitive folks say the water/flying birds are... Right now, in this moment, Swanna is whoopin' ass.
Heh, my Swanna's a guy. They put a feather bra on a Pokemon that can be male... My Swanna is a drag queen.

i haven't got to that part of the continent yet, but when i do i intend on catching a female Mr. Mime just so i can call it Ms. Mime.
i used to think that Mr Mime and Jynx were the male & female equivalent of each other, being both human shaped, psychic types, close in pokedex order etc. They both even received pre evolutions in later gens. (of course by that time there was no mistake that my original hypothesis was erroneous).

I wish Slaking and Regigigas were better... And HP or Speed might be better, since more HP's like raising both defenses at once, or Speed, since the faster it is, the better chance it has of attacking first, and perhaps not taking any hit.

I'd totally get down with Slaking, but that loafing defect irritates the hell out of me.
Ironically, Slaking's loafing was the one thing that helped me beat it when battling Norman in Sapphire. That thing was tough.

So I ignored your advice, or didnt read it in time lol, and so far Lapras hits pretty hard and can take a thunder pretty well, but as soon as any fighting pokemon hit me, BOOM im dead. :/

Yeah, sometimes padding weaker stats can only go so far... It has a lot of HP to work with, and so many weaknesses against it, that raising the defensive stats almost seems like a waste. It'd probably work better if you only brought it out once all opponents with Super Effective moves were down for the count, depending on the kind of Lapras you're using (is yours defensive or offensive? Does it use boosting moves like Curse or Dragon Dance?).
Sometimes you just have to wonder why certain Pokemon turn out the way they do...
I love my Liepard, I do, but her move pool verges on useless. What's interesting is that at this point I have Cloyster, Crustle, Swanna, and Gyarados with her, and Liepard actually has the highest Sp.Atk on my entire team (which is a very physical team, but Cloyster and Swanna are more mixed)... And the highest speed... But she's stuck with an 80bp ghost move and a weaker dark move. Return is stronger than her other attacks. Return! She already 2HKO's quite a lot of things with these moderate attacks, but if she could just learn a special move with high bp, she'd be fantastic (in game, at least). She's got Double Team and Nasty Plot, as soon as she sets up she could wipe out loads of Pokemon... But no! She gets nothing to compensate for the fragility but a bunch of utility and situational moves and luck based gimmicks that you just don't ever need in this game.
She has found an excellent niche though as a bit of a wall-breaker. And of course, I'll always use her for ghosts and psychics.

Wow I just found a level 25 Braviary out in the wild in White 2. It caught me completely off guard. Of course I caught it and now it's part of my team. I love it when stuff like this happens. The kind of stuff that I don't know about in a Pokemon game.
