On Thursdays in White 2, near Undella Town, you'll see a floating, female Jellicent with Damp. In Black 2, it's on Mondays, and it's male.

Pretty random, eh?

I caught a Kingdra not too long ago. A lot of trade evolutions can be caught in the wild.

I can breed you an awesome Oshawott. I got a lot of Pokemon with great IVs, so I can make one for you with a few stats at 30/31.

I hope the new Generation has the following animals as pokemons:
- Ostrich (Flying/Ground)
- Tiger (Fire/Electric)
- Lion (normal/dark)
- Killer Whale (water/dark)
- Dolphin (water/psychic)
- Koala (Normal/Psychic)
- Kangaroo (Fighting/Ground)
- Snow Owld (Flying/Ice)

Just some ideas...

I took the liberty of revising the 5th Generation roster and got rid of all the pokemon I felt sucked.

What's left is a nice, hefty 102.

Just noticed the Steel count is off by one. It's actually 8.

I'd clear out like more than half of that list and not because "Hurr Durr it's Gen V so it must suck by default" but because after looking at most of those and knowing about them in game and whatnot I feel they suck.

I notice a disturbing lack of Liepard... Who really is the only decent looking cat they've had since Persian... Of course, I'm fond of Purugly, but I suspect I may be the only one... And perhaps more disturbing, the presence of Watchog.

I actually like Watchog.

It makes a pretty decent pokemon for battle, and it has a more subtle poke-appearance apart from the ballsfest that is Seismitoad.

As for Leipard, to me it looks like shit and I can't stand to look at it. Plus, the fact that nearly every character I battled in White had one irritated the hell out of me. Fuck Leipard.

To be honest, I have yet to come across a cat pokemon I actually like.

Watchog is an erect rodent. That is all.

Nearly every character you battled in White had a Liepard, but you don't find this quality annoying about Watchog? At least Liepard was rare on Plasma teams (and was usually higher level to give better exp), but almost all of them had a Watchog.... And what was the first thing he always did? Confuse Ray! And if you weren't using Liepard, chances are for the first half of the game he was faster than you and got to use it! THAT is an annoying Pokemon, hehehe. Actually, scratch that, he doesn't have good speed either, heh.

While its movepool may hold it back, the cat is actually an excellent fighter in the game as well (much more than Watchog, at least) because it outspeeds 99% of Pokemon you encounter and has high enough atk/sp.atk to OHKO a huge amount of weaker game encounters or 2HKO with Fake Out if need be, but also the speed to spread Toxic to a tougher one and manage to succeed against Ghosts and Psychics (Elite 4, yes?), especially Musharna, another irritating Pokemon you have to fight way too often. My Liepard destroyed Musharna, heh. They've also gotten into a rather good competitive set for Liepard over at Smogon... It is luck based, but has become somewhat infamous for its success and frustration factor for the opponent.... In that environment it's a support Pokemon though, since support moves are actually useful. In game you don't even need them...

We can't argue looks, since I think it's the most clever cat design they've ever done. The pink mask, the question mark tail, the slender, curvy shape... It's quite elegant and fitting... They just should not have made it purple, yellow and pink. Terrible color scheme. A vastly better design that upholds the original spirit of Pokemon much more than that chicken-dog of a legendary dragon we got last gen.

Persian always will be my favorite Pokemon though, so.... Cats are my sort of thing. Also, Mew and Mewtwo are terrible. Heh, I've always hated them.... Especially Mewtwo. He's too... Bulbous.

I don't recall seeing Watchog that often, but if what you say is true then I guess I just didn't think much of it because I like Watchog.

To me, Liepard looks like a skinny adult alley cat with a disease, seriously. Its fur looks rugged, its yellow patterns make it look like it has a serious illness, and its body is so thin it looks emaciated. I just don't like it.

As for Mew and Mewtwo, I agree, they are quite terrible.

My personal favourite cat appearance wise is Delcatty.

I also like Purrloin, Liepard, Persian and Skitty.
Not a big fan of Meowth, Glameow or Purugly (even my shiny Purugly sucks lol).

Mewtwo and Mew have some of the best movesets ever.

Let's note Transform, Aura, Sphere, and Psychic Strike as bad moves.
Now, stats and design; that`s another story.

I know there is probably not even a remote chance of this, but I long for a Persian evolution. I loves me kitty, but Technician Persian with good enough stats to really abuse it would make me very happy. If it could stay like Meowth nearly ohko-ing other weaklings with Fake Out of all moves....

I think Glameow is the worst, just 'cause it is really.... really bad in a fight and quite ugly, but without the added hilarity of just being Purugly. I had a Purugly named Big Mama and I cherished it.

Meh, some people like surprises. Lord knows I thought it was pretty cool to see both of those pokemon available in the wild like that, and so frequently too.

Serebii.net or Smogon.com, though truth be told, you're better off trading with people you know who play the game, since even on those sites, you can come across some shady folks.
