Well it was Scorpion. They could put more than one referencing word to a character in that thing, seeing how Scorpion is Ed's Favorite. He might put a bit more hints in there to Scorpion then any one else.
Like the word Venom, people speculate that could be aiming towards Reptile; I just figured it was a reference to a scorpions' venomous sting.
But I am not here to argue, just here to say what I had to say.

Yeah, they were already mentioned and omitted just because they aren't particularly significant, and could easily be accidental. (They're also all letters that have already been used, assuming leftovers are of any importance. Something apparently noone else is thinking about)

I've been debating about adding one (and two's in there too).

I can appreciate what Boon is doing by trying to get us excited, and letting us know that news is on the way, but I just wish this viral campaign had a payoff.

Most viral sites offer clues for the community to figure out, which leads to the next set of clues ............... in this case though noob.com has been little more than a bunch vague phrases. Sure the cross word thing has plenty of MK related words in it, but figuring out the words won't give us clues to a new website with more info or anything like that.

It just would have been nice to see the clues at least lead you somewhere, rather than just be a count down webpage with MK related text and phrases being updated every week.

Um... I don't see how this is possible on the Wii.

Unless the game is ported, completely censored, and half-assed we probably won't be seeing it on the Wii any time soon.

BUT! Maybe they will do what Project Soul did and make a whole separate adventure beat-em up (Shaolin Monks 2? I dunno) for the lighter and easier Wii to handle.

Even so, I wouldn't bother with it. Konquest Modes & Shaolin Monks never really caught my attention.

Completely censored on the Wii? If you mean to say that the violence would be trimmed out of the Wii version, then there are no grounds for that statement. There are already multiple games on the Wii that feature high levels of violence (MKA, for starters), so there's no reason to believe that censorship would even be an issue for a Wii version of MK8.

As for the power difference between the Wii and other consoles, there may be some truth to that. Undeniably, PS3 and X-box 360 are superior in power, but the Wii could still support SOME form of MK8. From what I've read, no one other than the developers is clear on exactly how powerful the Wii is, but the most common estimate I've seen is that it's 1.5 to 2.0 times more powerful than a gamecube. The graphics will most likely take a hit, but beyond that, I think a Wii version is very plausible.

To Mick-Lucifer, you can expand the word FINISH to FINISHER in the puzzle. Also, TORN in not one of the words. What you have circled is TRON or NORT.

About a wii version according to wikipedia mark reign ceo of epic said a licensee of the unreal 3 engine was trying to get a unconfirmed game running on the hardware.
I strongly believe it was midway trying the new MK out.

The plain 8 in the wordsearch of numbers, is the 129th number on the search. So if this wordsearch was put up on the 4th/5th depending where you live...129 days from that date is roughly August 8th, 2008...in other words...8/8/08...I realize its nothin big or special, and that it doesn't land right on that day. It could be a demo or something...or could be nothing, just thought I would share that little fact.
