Yeah, I noticed. He's one of my faves. As Corezz said, if you use 1, 4, it does 28%. It becomes 33% if they have their weapon out.

The strongest single attack belongs to Havik, however. His U+2 attack in Snake does 20% and gives a knockdown allowing you to close in for a 50-50.

Are Goro and Khan planned on being put in the tier list later on once people master them?

Sub-Zero and Kira are low tier, Sindel is low-mid, Kabal/Mileena are high mid.

Gamecube changed some things too...I'll post in detail later.

Sub-Zero considered low tier again eh? That sucks. I don't understand why they had to make his Dragon style so crappy. It was better in MK: DA. Also, they should've kept his Back Kick and Sweep Kick in Kori Blade as it was in MK: DA instead of changing it.

GAMECUBE GAMEPLAY DIFFERENCES

Bo' Rai Cho no longer has any broken throw combo, but he is still a top tier character. I still think he is #1 in the Gamecube version.

You can no longer sidestep to cancel the delay time in between special moves...example, no more puke~sidestep~puke~repeat. No more Tombstone Drop sidestep then again right as they get up. The Tombstone Drop has about a 5 second delay before you can do another one and it has been slowed down so you can see it coming. Dairou has dropped dramatically in the tier list.

All known infinite combos are still in the Gamecube version.

Shao Kahn's throw is worthless...does 5 damage and he can't move until they are almost getting up. Goro's is decent and does 18 damage. The are both very powerful, but nowhere near top tier.

As far as the tier list is concerned,it won't change that much if Goro and Kahn aren't that good as you say.Simply said,Kobra,Scorpion,and Darrius will move up if they have the same BS as in the PS2 version,while Dairou falls dramatically into a possible low mid tier status.N/S and Dairou remain the best in the game as in PS2.

About the Tombstone drop, I can't believe they left that in on the PS2/Xbox releases, come on, did they even test Dairou?! It was known after a single day that Dairou would be a insane toptier, how the heck did they miss that? I still believe that Midway needs some better testers, and just sit down with them and play the damn game and actually TRY to expoit things, so the team could prevent them from happening in the final release.

All of Shujinko's combo greatness is now worthless in the Gamecube version of MK Deception as all of his high damage combos (50%+) are now around 30%.

This one does 64% on ps2 and xbox.

Sub-Zero is the best. i dont see y so many dont see it. i guess most ppl just suck ass or dont know how to play Sub-Zero to his full potential. ppl say hes better in MKDA but hes actually a huge improvement in MKD.

I know exactly how to play Sub-Zero and he is 3rd from the bottom in the Tier List...he SUCKS. Does that mean that you can't win with him if you can play him good? Absolutely not, he is fun, and you can win with him, it's just very difficult to do so.

If you seriously think that he is the best, you need some help. Maybe you should play me or anyone else online with Bo/Dairou/Darrius/Raiden/Jinko, hell...anyone. We'll show you how good Sub is.

like i said u probably dont play him to his full potential. Sub has an excellent distance game and great close up game. against some one like Noob-Smoke the Ice Clone is very effective. more effective against him than any other character. only character that it isnt good to play the distance game with Sub is when fighting Diarou cuz he has a better distance game. so u just play up close and personal where Subby has the better close up game. same thing for Goro maybe.... im not sure bout that yet. Goro can do well with some distance.

What distance game? Clone, Iceball, repeat? If I see you are going to do a clone, I'll hit you with my projectile every time. If I see you are going to do an Iceball, I'll sidestep and close the distance. Sub doesn't have a good up close game...ALL of his attacks except b+2, 1, and d+2 in Kori Blade hit high or low...NOTHING HITS MID, so I have nothing to fear from Sub up close, he is relatively unsafe in everything he does. So his bf+4 hits mid, so what...it does around 8 damage? I can deal with that. I block it, I get a free combo.

I don't know how to play Sub-Zero...right, ok. Why don't you back up your Tier List and post exactly why you think he's so great? If not, then you don't know shit.

And if you think that Sub is good against Noob-Smoke...you haven't played anyone yet who can use Noob-Smoke right.

I love the arguement "You probably don't play X character to his full potential and that's why you think he sucks."

You have to take into account who you are playing against, their abilities, and your personal ability with the character. The general fan base is not going to put forth a ton of effort with a character just to win, they're going to work with the top character and win quickly and easily to gain recognition.

Best Bo'Rai Cho in the world beats the Best Sub-zero player in the world, bottom line, based on mathematics.

Best Sub-zero player in the world *might* be able to beat a decent Bo, but it's an uphill battle.

100+ hours game experience doesn't mean a whole lot if you aren't playing the best players available.

Edit: Put your Scrub-zero up against me in UMK3 anytime by the way and we'll see how #23 of 23 does in that, lol "Sub's the best cause I like the color blue."

I don't agree with Sindel and Mileena being low tier. I played online on Ps2 using those two, and Li Mei once in a while, and i have made it to the top 100 pleanty of times. It could just be the way i play though... it might confuse people becasue im ridiculously agressive with Mileena, My strat is not give the opponent anytime to think about what goings on... and it works, especially on simple minded people . And with Sindel I constantly use different combos from all of her fighting styles, i keep continually switching due to the dramatic difference in reach her fighting styles have. Thats just my rambling.

Anyway, yeah Sub-Zero isn't that good of a character at all. He's better than he was in MKDA just because the system as a whole makes it a tad bit more of a balanced game, but tier wise he's bottom mid at best. He can beat almost any character though, except Dairou.

It all comes down to the fact that there's too much sub needs to do to win and too little most characters have to do to beat him. Just like in MKDA,actually.
