Raiden is okay, but many of his moves if you miss you're a sitting duck. His guard doesn't go back up quick enough. He needs the fountain of youth cause he's a little slow. Jax isn't my favorite but he's lightning quick, and can recover quickly from a mistakes.

I don't think Mavado's bad. Frost has a back flip kick that is quick and easy to get in, plus it puts space between you and the opponent, most effective the game I think. There isn't much to say about scorpion except he's damn good, after all he was used to market MK5. Will the spotlight ever shine on Raiden again like it did in MK2?

I always play 3 rounds with no time, it provides the most play time . Also, when I play, I kinda think of it as if this were a real fight. If I was gettin my ass beat I'm gettin the F*ck away from you, wait to see what you might do then counter.

I disagree with Kitana and Nitara's positions. They Are ranked too low. They need to be moved up a few. Obviously you haven't them much or against anyone that knows how to use them. Oh yeah, Cage is to high. Needs to be a couple positions lower than that.

the infinites r in the PAL version. sonya is good but not as good as i once thought. sub-zero is near bottom tier hes a low mid character at best. kitana basically ties with cyrax for the worst character ever.

Cyrax in low tier? whoa if u know all his combo's he isn't believe me especially this one I did with him when I was fooling around (gamecube controls): b,b,back b,L,b,b,back y,forward y,up y,L then when they're halfway up press Z. But ya that is kinda true he is hard to use but once u know how to use him he's really good.

Yea, you'd own up a scrub sub zero who just does normal d+3 and other rubbish. I repeat, you've probably never faced a decent SZ like myself or Konqrr. And we'll see who owning who when MK6 comes out.

Sub Zero is a top tier character. Maybe if your boys JOP or BLT were telling you this, you would listen to them. You say Sub Zero is low mid tier, but you have no good reasons behind them. You say he's too easily overwhelmed, but how? CB d+3 beats out every move in the game, so how can be overwhelmed. You say the opponent is coming at Sub Zero with juggle that do over 50%, but how will those 50% juggles hit if cb d+3 outpriotizes all of them? If a match ever came down to a safeness/priority/poking match, and the sub player's opponent isn't scorpion, The sub player will have the advantage. Everyt time i bring up the reasons why I believe Sub Zero is top tier, you change the subject and say some thing like "whatever dude, im better than you so im right." or "you know nothing dude, you're a scrub,kid", but in my opinion, all of those feeble attempts to insult me are simply cover ups because you cant admit that i've won the friggen debate.

Well ray, Sub Zero is defenately one of the more complicated characters to win with. Hes kinda like the Ivy of SC2, he can either go in the low top tier section or the high mid tier. I'd really have to say that an average sub zero is like mid tier, but Sub Zero at his full potential(or damn close to his full potential) is top tier. you said yourself, hes a finesseover power kinda guy, but he still has the damage and the single fastest move in the game. Who's your main character dude?

u know nothing. d+3 does not beat every move. its a good move at best. sub gets raped by fast jabbers. u r a scrub who playes with scrubs thats y your tactics work. anything works on scrubs but u r dumb enough to think it will work on a top player.

these are my favorite characters to play with.
They are the most fun for me.
Sub Zero is the only character that I favor not tier one.

It's an uphill battle Vers. I love sub to death but only because he's "Cool".

Fun to play with, but his success depends largely on the opponent.

Sub Zero loses to "Rage" badly...

My favorite characters happen to be the best, but that is because they are all deep if not out right broken.

All have excellent mixups, and huge combo/setup potential.

ANd all but Sub are offensive machines, which is my style.

Sub is defensive, which is fine. Sub has taught me patience and to recognize opportunity. I like the challenge of playing with sub in impossible match ups. I could play Sub all day against my friends and never complain or get bored.
