I guess. Compared to UMK3, I think two infinites is pretty good. The only thing balanced about UMK3 was how broken everything was. We actually had to spend money on the game back then too. I also think that it would be good to ban infinites in tournament play.

All the videos and combos I have seen online are great. It still blows my mind that people still aren't doing the same combos as me. Although Konqrr, I see you have discovered "Pi Gua Rage"

I tried really hard to get that fixed, but when I showed it to Ed...well, he liked it! Scorpion is his favorite character after all.

infinites for UMK3

Cyrax- bomb trap

Classic Sub Zero-works only on big characters, no females with the exception of sheeva. Pop up combo, jump in repeat.

Sryker- Pop up combo, machine gun,dash,jab,machine gun,repeat as needed

Kung Lao- Pop up trap: Pop up spin,jump kick,miss dive kick, PUS, repeat...easiest in the corner.

I just talked to Paulo, and he said anyone with an uppercut combo can do 100% depending on the level.

Believe this. Paulo Garcia is the best UMK3 player on the planet. I think all that WaveNet really helped him get to that point. Wavenet was MK3 online. It was a Midway experiment that linked arcades in the Chicago area...truly awesome.

He would know all the best combos too. I really can't remeber anything except...Kabal is really good!

Kabal rules! Bring him back and let him kill Mav, hehe. Oh yeah and thanks to konqrr for showing how to use Pi Gua a few months ago. I read somewhere Ed Boon also likes Mavado, he didn't get the scorpion balance treatment though :-p

hey, awesome job on the tier list guys. i agree with it despite the fact that my favorite character Raiden is only mid tier. guess it's better than low tier, lol. don't matter to me, i know can kick anybody's a@$ with Raiden and that's good enough for me.

i just had a brilliant idea Versatile. why don't you guys get that tier list together, for example with explanation about why each character is where he/she is and post it on GameFaqs.com. that way it'd be there for everyone to see at any time. otherwise it'll get lost here in about 2-3 days.

Well I'd like to know the frost infinite myself, I know Bo Rai Cho's, but didn't know frost had one. Whats hers like??

Now about the tier list, I must not be as good as I think I am. Granted I am the only MK5 player in my neck of the redneck woods. And God knows there's no one here that plays video games out here, in this country ass town I live in. The only competition I get is from the computer. But I am a gamer and consider myself creative, and inovative. So anyway, the point Im getting to is; why is Kenshi rated mid tier?? My argument; he is top tier no question! His combos are just rediculous with that tele slam of his. His side stepping sword swipe move (same as scorpians) is fast as hell, it can interput combos/moves, and has almost zero recovery! Someone said he was too linear?? I don't get it. He seems hard to get away from to me. And he tracks like a mother fucker, damaging combos, has a powerup, and heal, IMO Kenshi is too good. Right up there with cheap ass dhramin, and Bo'Rai Cho. Again, I Still would like to know what Frosts infinite is. Would like replies. And can any1, please, tell me why they did not make this game LIVE??????????

Frost's infinite = Floor ice, slide, repeat...
