also they already showed Kuia Liang in the comics, why would they show him again fighting the Lin kuei in a different, much darker looking outfit(and without the scar), this has to be Bi-Han.

"I am not my brother" could easily mean "I'm not that Sub Zero you know, I'm the real Sub-Zero" quan chi has had both sub Zero's souls so it really could go both ways with it.

Oh and i dont think the soulando is what will chang noob, i think it'll have to do with the Neatherrealm War thats hinted at.

As long as the character Noob Saibot stays around, Baraka could be the next Sub Zero for all I care.

I think Noob has so much potential , from a story and gameplay stand point. I love the whole shadow power thing, and he is the character I would like to see return the most, even if it is another person posed taking up the mantle of Noob.

That isn't true, the point of Scorpion realizing that he was being mind fucked IS because he knew that's not how Sub-Zero acted or was, so why would sub-Zero screw up being himself.

It was someone trying to still frame Sub-Zero, but scorpion saw through it.

I'm not sure why people are jumping to conclusions about it being the older brother. Can't draw too many conclusions from one line of dialogue we heard in the stream today.

There's still no conclusive evidence either way about who the Sub-Zero in MKX is.

That's true but I will just stick with my theory from day 1, It's Bi-Han.

Not because of what we heard in the intro today but because it makes sense that it's Bi-Han or a totally new Sub-Zero.

Thank you! That was something I definitely thought Kuai Liang would say, but nothing like Bi-han.

Even the way that he speaks leads me to believe it's not Bi Han. That dude was a dick. I have a hard time imagining him being a Earthrealm hero. Bi-Han was a corrupt individual long before he met Quan Chi.

So wait... You expect Raiden, The god protector of Earthrealm to speak to one of the Earthrealm heros like he did? But you don't expect that Bi-Han had changed over time?

Raiden was a dick to Kung Lao in the intro and Raiden never talked like that before.

But 25 years change a lot, so the Bi-Han that we knew could have changed over those 25 years just like Raiden changed over those 25 years.

I'll stick with this being Bi-Han or a new sub-zero but I respect your opinions don't get me wrong I am not trying to be aggressive I'm just doing what we are supposed to do, which is speculate at this cool sub-zero.

Raiden can barely call himself the protector of Earthrealm. He has completely lost it. The dude gave Scorpion clues about a threat, instead of info on it.

Sub-Zero is right, Earthrealm needs a better protector. We know Kuai Liang has done some bad things since the end of MK9 too.

Maybe I don't see it as clearly since I think Bi-Han returning as Sub Zero is a terrible idea. But seeing what they did in MK9 I should expect it.

Sub-Zero talking about a having a heart (Scorpion state in the comics that he and Bi-Han never talked about feelings, Bi-Han doesn't stop to talk about this because he thinks it's BS) and in a different dialogue telling Ermac that Shao Kahn is no longer here and that he's free (for starters Bi-Han never got to oppose Shao Kahn in the whole history and only interacted with him as Noob, serving him at Quan Chi command) screams Kuai Liang for me.

There is also this thing: You don't bring Kung Lao and Kitana (and at least in the comics Jax too) from the exact same place than Kuai Liang without bringing him back too.

And about that scar, for me it's pretty simple, his primary costume will be shown for the first time when he's a revenant under Quan Chi, before that confrontation with Kano, so even if he gets to use it after getting the scar, they're not going to make 2 versions of the same costume just to add the scar on the same costume (maybe alternate color would have it?), then (if the scar is supposed to stick this time, which isn't confirmed given how Raiden and Kotal keep slashing themselves) he could have an alternate costume from later in the timeline with the scar.

Totally Bi-Han.

They will both feature in the game, but i am 100% Kuai will be in the game as Sub-Zero its his mantle it has been for 99% of mk's life. I wont argue, and get heated even though this topic does anger, as the character is near and dear to me.

Juat ait tight and wait till we see the game, just like when mk9 was coming out everyone was yelling its Bi-han and they were wrong, it'll happen again. I am sure we will see both brothers, and i even think bi han/noob will be the games secret character like he was in mk4.

Kuai is the heart and soul of the character, and arguably the best developed character. He deserves more respect then alot of the fans wanting bihan back as sub-zero just because hes a "bad guy" you have Noob saibot,, and let us have Sub-zero.

Why it's totally Kuai Liang:

- The "maintain our innocence" dialogue. Remember what Bi-Han did in MK9 when Scorpion said he would fight him but won't kill him? He slammed the doors and said "will not? or can not?". Bi-Han doesn't care about accusations and "quarrels". The one that is historically pissed at Scorpion obsession with revenge is Kuai Liang, and he is the brother that would try to keep the honor of his family. Bi-Han would respond something like "LOL You mad?" rather than trying to discuss if he did murder his family or not.

- The "your brother succumbed easily" "I'm not my brother" dialogue. This is a clear reference to Bi-Han totally accepting his dark side and embracing it to the point that Noob considers himself completed in that form. Kuai Liang on the other hand is the more noble brother and knows he won't accept that kind of destiny. There is NO WAY Bi-Han would be offended by the possibility of succumbing easily as his brother when Bi-Han embraced his fall.

- Dialogues with Ermac talking about having a heart (Bi-Han would NEVER stop to talk about feelings or having a heart) and telling him that he's free now from Shao Kahn (Kuai Liang would try to encourage Ermac to be better now that he can, Bi-Han never interacted with Shao Kahn as Sub-Zero and as Noob was his ally, he wouldn't be telling people "come on, we no longer have Shao Kahn, be free and live your life!".

- Dialogues against Scorpion where he seems to provoke him are probably references of Kuai Liang still as Quan Chi's revenant, which means he's supposed to act mean and probably Quan Chi himself is trying to get Scorpion mad.

- The Ermac dialogue about a tainted soul, as mentioned earlier it isn't even the first time someone has told him something in those lines and he was a revenant so it makes sense.

- As I said before: If you bring Kitana, Kung Lao and Jax from the exact same place than Kuai Liang, you totally bring Kuai Liang back too. There are no excuses here.

- The "Earthrealm needs better protection!" dialogue could simply be that most heroes are actually pissed at how Raiden manages things and probably some of them are even trying to protect it without Raiden. Even in the comics Scorpion mentions how people dies when Raiden appears and Fujin is mad at him because he never listens and just does what he wants without second guessing his crazy decissions.

- The lack of a scar could mean that either the kamidogu scar will be just temporal and was there as an easter egg in the comic, or that the primary costume is from before that time period and they wouldn't have 2 versions of the same costume to have the exact same one with a scar.

Anyway, I am entirely convinced this Sub is Kuai.

Don't worry, everytime something about Sareena is mentioned or even before it happens but he feels like it could happen, he has the inner need to remember everyone that he thinks she has shithead even if it makes him look like he's obsesed about that after sooooooo many repetitions and if you're lucky like me he will just quote your Sareena comment and post something really clever and thoughful like "BLEUGHBLEUGHBLEUGH" which actually happened once. The guy is mad at this awesome character but he's on his rights to be mad at her if he wants so let him be :)

To all the ones who think Sub-Zero is Kuai Liang, better get a grip. Don't forget about the twist thing. There were twists in MK9 and you better believe there will be twists in MKX.

The original someone gets automated idea was dumb, they wont pull the same stuff again. Why do we have to get a grip because we want a character thats been an established main stay since mk2? What all these "twists" lets make reptile a cyborg, and make shao kahn cloned and turned into a grapefruit.
