Boot 5 is Jax due to his boots in his character model leak matching boot 5 exactly and I'm 99% sure that boot 2 is male.

Whether its erron, sonya, kenshi, or jaqui we know who's in. Stop trying to use boot 2 to guess ots more characters in the game. We know whos in and who's not by now.

Boot 2 is the mystery. Its not either of Johnny's skins, either of Sonya's, not Erron's primary, or either Jax skin.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a concept for a character that was thrown out. Notice how Boon hasn't mentioned the boot pic in months, even though Kung Jin would have updated it.

i doubt they would do that, im sure most of these charcters have been done before they showed the boots the first time. but someone should start tweeting Ed about the boots.


Now if boot 1 is Quan, boot 4 is Kitana, Boot 5 is Jax, Boot 6 is Kung Jin

That just leaves boot 2 and boot 3 left, and we've seen everyone's boots so far that has been rumored from that leak, Kenshi, Johnny, Erron, Shinnok, Sonya, Takeda, none of them fit. BUT supposedly there is only one person left from that "leaked" roster which is Liu Kang, and he can't be two boots lol.

That's gotta mean there is more than the "leaked roster" especially after seeing Baraka(or just a tarkatan, either way)

My point is there are 2 boots left, but only one person left, which means there are more people. So get excited




Also(so not to spam posts) i think when boon said 5 reveals in the story trailer, I think he meant 5 new people that we haven't yet seen in this timeline. Takeda, Jacqui, Kung Jin, Li Mei, Erron Black, everyone else was seen in mk9 or previously revealed.

We already have seen more than 5 playable people from that trailer, that were revealed at that time.(Takeda, Jaqcui, Kung jin, Sonya, Johnny, Erron, shinnok, Mileena)

Boot 2 could still be Kenshi's older costume. We only saw the boots in the mobile trailer, the boots looked similar but without straps in the front. Could just be that the mobile version is less detailed and removed straps. Edit: Or could just be alt costume of Erron Black, Takeda, Kung Jin, Johnny etc. I still don't think 3 is Liu kang though

I have a big feeling boot C is Liu Kang because he had the same one in MK9 call that shocking.

Boot 2 is still a complete mystery. Intriguing.

Wait, we already know 23 characters (24 with Goro) and we don't know yet who are boots 2 and 3? (the others I think are confirmed to be Quan Chi, Kitana, Jax and Kung Jin).

Here we got another proof of the leaked roster of 24 main roster characters being fake and just predictions playing safe and short!

The boots could be from a different costume. Some of the revealed characters are not in their primary costume. I think Boot 2 is Kenshi who has a cape in the Mobile footage.

I guess this could also mean that baraka is In! Just think about it:

We know 23 characters. 2 boots remaining if one is Baraka we get 24 and a random select slot. BUT like i said before, the ramdon select will be replaced by a DLC slot. So Liu Kang would be the unlockable character in Story mode, and when you highlight him you open the DLCs characters such as goro.

Las screen had Goro in a lower corner (like unlockable and DLC characters on MK9) and a total of 26 squares counting the "?" mark. I don't think that is the final distribution anyway, I hope we're closer to it during the next stream :)

Btw, Baraka and Rain aren't part of those boots but got revamped costumes. The more I think about it, the more convinced I am of my original theory of 28-30 characters being needed to tell this game's story.

Boot 2 doesn't have a dang cape. Look back a page or two.

So could be there also 2 dlc Slots for each player like in MK9??

Boot 5 is definitely Jax. It looks exactly the same as the one in the concept art of him that was leaked. Could still be wrong, though. Boot 2 I think belongs to Kenshi.

I'm going to keep thinking we got more than 24+Goro (well, we know that since there is going to be an unlockable) as that boot 2 doesn't have an owner yet and we've seen all of those guys now.

Hey Mick please update this thread. Ed confirmed that Boot C is in fact Liu Kang on twitter.

The boot on the left... i still can't figure out... But the one on the right has to be Jax

Boot 2 is an unlockable character, as no one matches it. Not sonya, not kenshi, yes weve seen there boots.

Also theres already a boot thread.

That is a big mystery. What if that boot is from a costume we have not saw yet for a character we already saw, if not I think it'll be an unlockable like the guy above me said.
