Ok, I got you. Yeah I do agree. As much as I like Sonya I do feel that she along with Jax could take a break from this game. My main concern is that she might overshadow her daughter. It might be an unfounded fear but I have liked what I've seen from Cassie.

Because if Takeda the son of Kenshi is going to be in the game and playable does that mean Kenshi should also sit this game out ? because he would overshadow Takeda for sure.

You make a really good point, and it's another reason for characters that have off-springs to sit this game out and let the Next generation of fighters have enough space to breath.

Kenshi is one of my favorite characters, just like Sonya and Johnny are.

But with Off-springs being introduced, they should take a break and let people give the new comers a chance.

There will always be a next MK game. Sonya and the other characters could return then.

If they are in the story only that would be perfect.

and If the "cape/cloak" behind boot 2 is actually just a cliff in the background then i think Takeda is boot 2 still since it's so similiar to Scorpions

Main points have been made: she's certainly not going to be wearing that cape as part of her costume; that also doesn't quite look like a cape behind the boot. I'd be thrilled if it was her, but given their choices of reveals so far, I'm thinking they're gonna keep her stashed away until closer to release. It's a distinct possibility that it is Erron Black's boot...

Have her boots been shown in the comic? I can't for the life of me remember... She seems to always be engulfed in ominous shadows lol.
