Hope you are right with Kabal being the first bit I won't hold my hopes high. I am curious to see how the new characters are so I hope more are included in the boots

With Kitana revealed, I believe our next reveal will be Foot #3.

I'm referring to Boon's tweet that said something about "One of these days" and having two pics of Jack Nicholson under Kitana and Foot #3.

I'm betting Fujin.....or Liu Kang is revealed as the Big Bad.

I hope boot 3 is Liu. If Fujin, then it looks Liu will have a new outfit. If he's gonna be "one" of the big bads.

I would rather Nightwolf over Kabal.

6 has GOTTA be Shinnok. I agree with your guesses about 2 except for Kabal, I think you should replace him with Takeda on that list. I agree with your boot 3 guesses as well. I agree with you about 5 possibly being Jax BUT I think it could also be Ron Tan' Cho.

Well Jax had those same boots in his MK9 alt. I'd like to say it's him and in a way, I hope it's not.

I think they forgot about the whole boot teaser when Kung Lao was announced (since his boot doesn't match any of the boots in the picture) then remembered they had teased the boots and revealed Kitana.

Found this on Ed Boon's Twitter. Not really anything new but he acknowledges the picture still exists and named and colored the ones that have been confirmed. I guess that's kind of neat.

^ Same here. Call me impatient, but I'd prefer to see reveals sooner rather than later. If the whole roster leaked tomorrow it probably wouldn't kill my hype, honestly. There are still a few favorites of mine that I to know whether they'll be showing up. And I wanna see if any of these boot predictions come to fruition.

Someone had quoted about the boot hint with the twin pics of Jack Nicholson under Kitana's foot (#4) and under foot 3, a week or so back. Also there was mention about the leg/foot in hint #3 being too small to be male.

So what I'm speculating (taking with a grain of salt), is that foot #3 could belong to Mileena?

Since there are the twin pics and Mileena is a twin of Kitana just with a mutation, could it be possible? Yes, it would be odd footwear for Mileena.

Just a thought.

I had an idea, could be wrong but I could also maybe be onto something... The 4th boot belongs to Kitana. Boon previously posted a pic with two images of Jack Nicholson as Joker under boot 3 & boot 4. At the time some speculated he was hinting at Jax because it wasn't just one Jack but two "Jack + Jack= Jax"; since people have said "Twin pics of Jack- twins" but what if he was being crafty and was actually hinting at a pair? Who's commonly paired with Kitana by fans...? Liu Kang!

I also think that it's possible Boon didn't mean the boots were a mix of old characters & new characters when he said they were a "MIxture"; I think he was wanting people to think that, but that actually the boots belong to old characters with new looks (after all Quan Chi has a new look & Kitana has a new look). Thoughts?

The twin (pair) pics of Jack Nicholson does lead to something. I know boot 3 is definitely Liu Kang, but I had this weird thought that it could be Mileena, just for the "Twin thing". Obviously the shoes wouldn't fit her quiet right, lol.

Except for Fujin and maybe Kai there's no "old" character that would fit boot 3. But what's the link between either of them to Kitana, there isn't one. It's clearly Liu Kang with a new look.

I thought Boot #2 might have been Ermac with the cape but after closer inspection, it's safe to say the boot is someone else.

My guesses (or hopes, more accurately) right now are:

2. Seido Johnny Cage

3. New female character / Queen Mileena (I have always god a strong female vibe from this foot, but I suppose it could just look smaller than it's meant to. Mileena seems like a stretch, but if she's taking her role as ruler of Outworld seriously maybe she'll go for a new look.)

5. Erron Black (really just hoping he's in because all the other potential new characters (Jacqui, Kung Jin, Salazar, Takeda, etc.) really bore me.)

6. New Character / Shinnok (If it is Shinnok they completely changed his staff, which is fine, but I'm kind of leaning towards a new staff-wielding character.)

Do you think it's time they reveal a boot or two this month?

I'm hoping they unveil boot 6 considering they spilled the pic with the weapon.
