I suppose it isn't psuedo-intellectual if you are using words like that because you are intelligent enough to use them, rather than because you like it when people read what you are writing and say "huh?" I honestly don't know what anachronistic means; I've never had occassion to come across that word before despite being a (semi-) active author, and generally when someone uses a word I am unfamiliar with then its been done to make the less educated among us wonder what the heck they are talking about. You might be one of the exceptions, but I figured I would play it safe and acuse you of being a cockbite right off the bat so we don't misunderstand each other. I'm pro-active, you see.
Actually, fighting games are almost always great for fan fiction, the characters often aren't given a whole lot of development, which we are free to do ourselves, and the games don't have a lot of canon plot, so a lot of what happened within them can be assumed or manipulated to how we want it to happen. Its so much easier to write MK fan fiction using standard characters than it is Resident Evil fan fiction.
