Entertaining the idea this guy isn't full of it...nothing could possibly make me happier than being able to play as Li Mei again.

How could it show who the next round of DLC is? BUT if this is true....

Fujin? AWESOME!

Li Mei? Meh...Ashrah or Sareena or Khameleon or Sindel or Frost or Kia/Jataaka or a revamped Sheeva would have been way more awesome

Smoke? Honestly, this time around I'd rather not have him compared to some others. I'd MUCH prefer Havik or Rain especially or Kai or Kintaro or Bo or Cyrax

Spawn? Seriously...ANOTHER freaking guest character? There better be a 3rd round of DLC. BS. Although I'll be honest and would have jumped up and down over Beeteljuice, two was already pushing it, but a 3rd? You'd think MK was short on characters. Have faith in your own characters Netherrealm. Guest characters should be completely a separate entity.

Why I think it could be true:

Derrick's second go-to in the past stream was D'vorah. As a fellow Mileena fan, I would go to her allies as alternate mains as well. He obviously knows the outcome of the game and what goes down, so i think this may have something to do with his use of Dvorah

There's no true leaker in Twitter. It's confirmed in the other spoilers thread. Calm down everybody.

The character doesn't have name recognition or enough of a gimmick to be appealing to unfamiliar audiences and her fanbase isn't large enough to ensure a profitable return. DLC is entirely about profit and appealing to those easily obtainable dollars. I absolutely loathe Tanya, but the demand was vocal, it had beem since MK9. People who consider themselves "die-hard" M.K fans railed against guest fighters , yet we got two of them because Freddy made bank. It's all about squeezing money out of the general audience, and Li Mei is not a generally known character. Introducing her as DLC would be akin to introducing an original character, so unless they gimick the fuck out of her, I don't see it happening.

I'm not gonna believe the leaks as I don't want to get my hopes up, BUT Li Mei is set to appear in story mode. For all we know she might do something awesome or have a couple of good scenes, so that if she was to be released as DLC anyone that has played the story might want to give her a go. That's how I could see her or other 3D era characters making it as DLC anyway.

She's one of the more popular 3D era characters with a pretty devoted fanbase not just on websites like MKO but also places like Twitter. Gauging reaction to various threads dealing with possible character inclusion she's generally among the top names requested from the 3D era alongside others like Fujin. I mean shit, her cameo in the story trailer caused quite a commotion and even spurred petitions for making her playable.

I avoided this guy's twitter when the story streamming started, but I can tell that he was full of BS as the bios he claimed as real aren't even close to the real thing. He just wanted attention, then when he caught some real info (that everyone could get anyway since the story was being streamed) he mixed real stuff with his own BS.
