Someone should make their own thread about this. no offense but I'm pretty sure people avoid this thread like the plague

I love her new look! I had no problem with the old one but i always loved the white eyes on her, and she looks much more like Tanya now, and not some random NPC from GTA.

Oooooh, I like! Klassic Deception-era Tanya.

The only things I wonder about are:

1) Story Mode - Will they update her model there?

2) Her other look - Will it be an alt costume? Will there be some kind of bio/trailer explanation for her look changing (eyes being white)?
Aw man they gave her the shitty white eyes again, everything else looks better though. Still liked the old hair but oh well

Hope those eyes are like Quan Chi's: Variation Specific.

Tanya is super elusive!

She is a magikal and versatile kombatant!

Epik since 1997! Until the year 3000!

She looks much better now. I never got the white eyes though. They don't bother me; I have nothing against them, but she didn't have white eyes in MK4. Why did she just randomly start having white eyes in Deception?

I assume she started using dark sorcery more openly after betraying Edenia. Shang Tsung has the white eyes thing going on sometimes.

Because she sold her soul to Quan Chi in Deadly Alliance

Ladies and gentlemen,

***TANYA*** is BACK!!

*THIS* is my girl.

They've clearly taken a lot of inspiration from Deception Tanya here. She looks miles better. Those who were fawning over the sloppy first design, shame on you!! Many on the board were extremely happy to see Tanya back again - but not in her first form - that just wasn't her.

Particularly those who were insulting other Tanya fans for simply not liking the first Tanya. Telling us to "shut up and be happy with this shitty revamp"

Imagine, if the fans didn't complain to NRS on twitter, we would have been stuck with a unrecognizable subpar Tanya. Literally everything about her from the past games is back. Her hair, her skin, her eyes, even the shade of yellow is less dim now, which makes the costume look way better.

I'm 100% percent satisfied with the changes! My fav MK chick (besides Mileena) is back!

THIS is Tanya i recognize from the past games. Unlike the other one who looked like an Anna Williams / Cleopatra wannabe.

We have proof now that Tanya is a dark skinned black Woman from nrs. If she becomes white again. it's because Nrs wants Tanya white

I like her old hair better too. The new one is just too clean. She looks a little boring to me now.

"It matters because it's only a few black people in fighting games. Elena, Balrog, Dudley, Birdie, Tanya, Jax, Jacqui, Cyrax, Tj combo, D jay, Jade. Eddy and Christie. It's sad i can name 90% of the black fighting game characters. I can't name all the white characters, it's just to many to name. When you whitewash one the black characters. it hurts because i want to see myself in a character. it's wrong because it takes away one of the only blacks in gaming, telling people light is right. If there were alot of blacks in fighting games, it would not matter as much."

Tanya is a flawless legend. She will be so epik in high definition, on the television, with all that bright yellow-ish gold.

I can't wait for the epik, mysterious, gold Edenian legend Tanya to be officially playable in MKX.

Tanya is extremely elusive and epik, no matter what anybody says.

Tanya will have epik moves and fatalities!

Nobody is even ready. LOL what a mess!

Tanya will prevail!!!

I am quoting my own epik post from another thread, because it's the best.

You guys nitpicking over Tanya has been going on for too long.

Tanya will punch you all in the face, once she becomes playable on the Playstation 4. You are klearly not ready at all. Prepare yourselves for this magikal Edenian. Koming soon.

Nothing. It's entirely irrelevant, just like whether or not Tanya's skin is dark enough. grin

Not to sound rude, but did you pass junior high?

How the fuck does a guy being killed in Baltimore equate to Tanya's skin color being irrelevant?

Honestly I don't give a shit about what skin tone Tanya possesses, nor was I one of those people who hated original MKX Tanya- I adored her lightened skin. So you can drop your bullshit assumptions about me.

That comparison however is extremely stupid and makes no sense. A character's skin tone is far more relevant simply because it relates to something about MK in the first place- a man being killed in Baltimore does not.

As a person who is black and changes colors depending on what I do I say stop acting like we don't exist.

The guy is a total imbecile. He one time started harassing me via PMs all because I said Jade couldn't be middle eastern because she's not from Earth and "Middle Eastern" isn't even a race, but a location. lol.

He's weird.

Relax guy. You know what's even less relevant than Baltimore AND Tanya's skin color? Everything you just said. Someone posted something to bait our darling sensitive Tanya fans, and I pointed out the apparent reason they did it, though it seems I did so in a way that went under your radar. Your initial post suggested you were wondering why, after all. Any further replies to this will serve only as amusement for me, so... You're invited to drop out of the conversation.
