Almost none of the MKA endings had anything to do with the characters. Tanya never had anything to do with dragons in MK4 or Deception...

I'm open to Tanya being in, I just hope to god she has a good moveset. As of right now, there's nothing that she has that's even remotely interesting to me. I'm hoping if she is in, she's more fun and has a more dynamic moveset.

Your concept does look more like Kitana than Tanya. It's not a bad thing, seeing how she WAS supposed to be in the fourth but didn't make it in.

I don't know whether I want her in or not. I mean, I like her, but not enough to really care if she makes it in or not. I did like her in her debut game, but after that I lost interest.

She had one of the best stories in the fourth because of the fact that she looked so innocent, yet becomes THE traitor in the end. When it came to Deception, it was sort of like the writers forcibly made her rival up against Jade. At least that's how I saw it.

After hearing how she worked a little with the Deadly Alliance, it kind of made me wanted to know what would have happened if she was in that game instead of Deception. Because the more I think of it, I just felt that she had no place in Deception, but had a bigger place in Deadly Alliance.

If she does come back, can she have that voice from the fourth?

Same here. She is one of the characters I really don't care if she does or doesn't make it in. She is cool but I wont be bad if she is or isn't in MKX.

I think Tanya and Jade's rivalry was good, I hope the new series of events lead to it again. It gave both of them a storyline. It can either work as their main storyline or their secondary storyline. Jade doesn't always have to be Kitana's sidekick, Jade has her own enemies and storylines as well. Same for Tanya, she doesn't just always have to follow the new evil guy, she has a rivalry with Jade too.

Tanya didn't give a shit about Jade in the old timeline. That was a 1 sided rivalry.

Not enough to do the job herself. I mean, she single handedly betrayed Edenia by allowing Shinnok and invade it. She single handedly brought Liu Kang to Shinnok and Quan Chi in her ending. And then when Deception came, she needed help to defeat someone? She'd rather have someone do her bidding for her rather than herself, despite that they've made her a character that could get things done like that?

You mean JADE's non canon ending? Because i don't recall Tanya ever mentioning, or acknowledging Jade in her own bios or endings, while Jade mentions Tanya in her bio and has Tanya making an appearance in her ending.

You're taking it out of context. Tanya decieved Sindel and Kitana into accepting Shinnok and his army into Edenia. She decieved Liu Kang into following her into Shinnok's clutches. She couldn't decieve Jade, as she already knew Tanya was the enemy. Tanya knew she would be in for a fight with Jade, so she brought Tarkatans with her to gain the upper hand in battle. Tanya doesn't play fair.

Well, actually the Tarkatans were already there, Tanya just so happened to walk in since Jade allowed herself to get captured by them.

But her ending was just... That was just so dumb, I'm sorry but it really was. Again, the rivalry felt forced and it was hardly something I'd want to see come back if the two were to make an appearance together.



Actually, he's right. In Tanya's Deception biographies and her ending, there is no mentioning anywhere with Jade. Sure her bio card states that she is enemies with Jade, but still.

I agree that the ending was dumb and that the rivalry was forced, but that wasn't the point. The point was to show that the rivalry wasn't just one-sided, it wasn't just Jade hating Tanya, however, it was Jade who was most invested in the rivalry of the two.



No no, by all means, feel free to pick and choose what you feel is canon and not. Who cares that the official bio card informs us that Tanya considers Jade a foe when it isn't stated elsewhere. For it to be canon it has to be mentioned everywhere, right?
