I like the idea. Jax was one of my better loved kharacters from all MK, I would love to see him, AND possible daughter of his. Maybe not as powerhouse that Jax is, a daughter of him as a new character may be a great idea. I am for that.

I kno this sounds mean, but I hope this girl dies in the comic. It'll give Jax some character development. He's been pretty stale since MK3, and that's a loooong time.

To be honest, I'm not really sure what Jax daughter could bring to the table.

Cassie has all the spec ops stuff, the missile calling, and some tricks from his parents here and there (and you could say she even has some Stryker and Sektor).

Jax was strong, but what made him special were his mechanic arms that allowed him to have strength way higher than any human being and even rival a Shokan.

My point here is that Jax without his arms is more or less just some random dude as that's what make him special, and if instead of his ars he were using spec ops weaponry, then he and Stryker would've been the same kind of character (I'm going to ignore the "token black guy" stuff, so basically they would've been the same).

In this case, I don't know what Jax daughter/niece could bring to the table that makes her stand up over the other guys, given how Cassie got the spec ops stuff covered, it would be silly to also rip her arms off and without spec ops stuff or tech parts like his father, she would be just a random earthrealm girl.

So... my theory is that something bad is going to happen to that girl, either forcing her into using tech to survive (not necesary like his father, Kabal was also using tech to survive) or drying and making his daddy/uncle really angry. Maybe she dies because of Raiden and it's one of the drops that makes the heroes turn on him for real.

Don't make her a relative. The offspring thing is starting to get redundant. If she ends up on the roster, don't give her any of Jax's moves, or as few as possible.

Hopefully, if she's on the roster, she's not there to become Cassie's Jax. They can be friends or partners, but Jax's protégé (That's what I'll call her as we don't know her name yet) should have a more individual story from Cassie than Jax did from Sonya.

She doesn't look young or weak. I wouldn't guess his kid or student. Maybe it's his new partner since cage apparently joined.

Jax has a thing for Gemini. That was the only decent thing in Mk special forces. I'd like jax to be the jaelous and possessive kind of father.

Or.. she's his cousin's sister-in-law.

Apart from this girl being Jax's daughter, niece or a distant cousin, she would make a good inclusion.

If she is included, the only moves from Jax that I think she should have are the Dash Punch (revised: Double Hook- to the right and left jaw), Gotcha Grab and Back-breaker.

I hope she is no relation to Jax at all. Without his arms he is not special at all. It would be stupid if they ripped the arms of a little girl.

All kidding aside, I never found him interesting either. A viable matchup (assuming that's what you are talking about) really has nothing to do with character development.

If Jax has a daughter, then who is the mother? Gemini? No. Jade? Yes! I'm pretty sure he flirted with Jade and they banged hard and then made a child after the MK9 storyline. Just joking, ha ha.

Jax was at his best in MK 2 and genetic talent (brawling) is the best thing.

I'm not dissin' Jax, because I like him. The only move he attained from the use of those arms is his Dash Punch. All his other moves just basically got brought over from MK2/MK3.
His cybernetic arms from MKDA are the best design to date. He should get those ones back with a touch of revamping. That's if he is in MKX playable.

I honestly don't know how I feel about her yet. If she's going to be in the game (instead of Jax), she's clearly going to be a heavyweight "bruiser" kind of character. That could be a good thing, as over MK's 20+ year history, it's only had one muscled, slam-and-grapple female (Sheeva). She could fill a niche.

I like this approach. I don't really have much urge to see "Jax's daughter" and I agree with the other user that said the "offspring" thing is getting redundant. If Jax had a daughter that died it would be a good angle to make him sympathetic and have reason to take up arms (LOL) in his old age. He'd still be the Jax we know and love, but it would be a much fresher, and I think more interesting, take on him.

I just hope that when we finally do learn more about her, she can be described as something more than just "Jax's daughter," or "trained by Jax." You know...I just hope she's a well developed character with a story line that isn't dependent on just being related to Jax.

Offspring thing is getting redundant? The only one we have is Cassie and she won't be the only one we get.
