If that is Kano's alternate then it's extremely bland and unoriginal. So yeah, it's probably his alternate.

It's kinda how I always envisioned him in my own head canon personally.

I don't normally think about MK characters naked especially the males but Ermac is unique.

Since he's a fusion of souls, I always pictured him as a gender less humanoid figure with no features underneath his outfit. As in, no eyebrows, no hair, no nipples, no genitals, no finger or toe nails. Just a mannequin basically.

Shao Kahn just needed a powerful warrior, not something nice to look at too like Mileena and Skarlet are.

That's weird, because I always imagined Ermac as something different. In his bio, Ermac states that he is; We are Ermac. We are the fusion of the souls of dead warriors... which is pretty vauge IMO. In my head back in the Trilogy and Deception days, I always thought Ermac's body was just the corpse of one of Shao Khan's foes that he had pumped full of souls. The body was still dead, in a way, but is able to walk around due to the thousands of souls inside it. I know that it's not even close to that but I find it interesting how people have different ideas of what a character actually is.

I always pictured his body as that of someone brought back from the dead (maybe one of Kahn's warriors from long ago) to house all those souls. I'm glad he's more that in MKX instead of a more ghostly type.

And then we found out in MK9 that he regenerated in the Soul Chamber, as if he couldn't get any cooler.

Gah! Now I really can't wait to see this one in action.

was awesome, which was then followed by my favourite part of MK9...

That was my favorite part of the story mode, hands down.

Back in the day I thought this could make a good MK meme.

Can't help but indulge and wonder whose body it would be if this was actually the case. You know they'd place a significance on it...eventually.

And hell yes to the Sub-Zero comic costume, I really liked that design. And Ermac is going to be a blast yo.

I knew Sub was gonna be kuai liang. Bi-Han as Sub Zero again would be too good to be true. At least this way we still get Noob tho which is cool.

The Sub-Zero in game-play is Bi-Han and the one in the comic is Kuai Liang, which will be the other costume. This would be best to make the fans of both (either) happy.

You speak this as if you KNOW for certain. Look back at deadly alliance and see that these costumes are not far from that. Also there was only ONE Sub-Zero in that game.

Sub-Zero speaks like Kuai: "Yet, you have no heart." "I am not my brother"

Acts like Kuai: Serves Raiden and is going to take over the Lin Kuei AGAIN.

Now he even LOOKS like Kuai.

I am not saying Bi-Han won't appear at all as Sub-Zero, but I do follow the notion that if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck... It's probably a duck.

Your never-ending quest to convince yourself and others that this Sub-Zero is Kuai Lang makes me laugh

I also love how it can't be both with you. It HAS to be Kuai Lang. Also, the whole talks and acts like Kuai Laing thing is bullshit. There is no way to truly know which Sub-Zero this is yet.

It could be fucking Stalin under the mask for all I care. I was just sick of that guy constantly trying to convince people that it was Kuai Lang with bullshit reasons like "he talks like Kuai Lang."

Or, it could just mean that one costume is Bi Han, the other is Kuai Liang, just like it was in MK9.

I also remembered that the in-game model of Sub-Zero (and his renders) have no scar on, around and near his eye. Take that as you will. It can still be both Bi Han and Kuai Lang.
