Alternate costume!

Can anyone make any comparison shots? Can't really see the difference between costumes here. Ermac looks insanely good as usual.

It's the stage that was in the Who's Next trailer that was released a while back. it was showed just a little bit with Cassie and Ferra/Torr.

Never mind. Just looked at the first issue of the comic and this costume is DEFINATELY the Sub Zero from issue 1. I think the Sub Zero in this picture and issue one of the comic is Kuai Lang while the Sub Zero we've seen in gameplay is Bi Han.

I bet that one is Bi-Han and the other is Kuai Liang. Able to play both brothers as Sub-Zero is down right cool! Hope that is how it goes.

Well that settles the whole 'which Sub-Zero is which' argument. It'll be just like in MK9 where they were separate costumes, still kind of makes one wonder how he became human again though.

I want to sit in at one of those meetings to see where exactly the line is.

There is no line, only Zuul.

The back doesn't have those stripes in the main costume.

If you've read the first comic, this looks exactly like what he's wearing on that one (an update of his MK3 look, and maybe it will even have the scar given what happens in that comic while he has that costume...).

That image looks ripped from a damn horror film... I LOVE IT!

As for the whether or not the guts came out of the mouth, if you freeze frame his reveal trailer, the VERY last frame before it cuts away shows one drop of blood coming from Sub-Zero's mouth (through the mask, no less), plus his chin drops, implying his mouth forcibly opening:

This is probably why they used a masked character for the reveal, so it would be less obvious how the fatality ends.

Back to the costume,it's been a couple of weeks since I read the first issue (old school hard copy ), but I found a pic online, and it's DEFINITELY the same one. Basically it looks like the MK3 costume, but with a face mask.
