Haha a lot of the characters aside from a select few do nothing. The characters that are doing something aren't even on the roster.

It's just ton of things that do not make sense. I mean everything else about this game is superb, the look, the design, the fatalities- it's all stellar.

But the story and roster choices are head scratchers.

Fujin having a more prominent role and not being playable really fucking stings. Man, i'm really salty.

I'm still mad they killed Mileena.. Which means they prob are done with her for good. Fuck D'vorah.

as stated,it includes footage of a stage brutality,a bit of chapter 7,the chapter selection screen,Corrupted Shinnok,Scorpion,Cassie and Sub-Zero's endings, and a brief glimpse at the Krypt. There's also other fatalities(Kotal Kahn's 2nd,for example) Tournament Scorpion skin,Endurance Cassie skin(her workout skin) which again,confirms alt costumes on the ladder mode,etc.

And here I thought D'Vora would be an independent and unique character only to find out she's nothing but a roach infected Tanya knock-off.

I was never feeling D'Vorah, but she did start growing on me until I found out about her betrayal and her killing those two. She and Ferra/Torr are my least favorites by far.

Honestly i am shocked she killed both Mileena and Baraka.

I don't care if people will say im looking at things through rose covered glasses of the 90's, if Mileena is gone for good i would be heart broken. She deserved more, she deserved better.

I would assume to give players another character type to play with. That two in one brute type is unique in MK, and brings something new to the fighting aspect of the game. Story isn't the end all with this game.

Ferra/Torr is a complete disappointment as far as i'm concerned. I don't like big brute characters to begin with, but these guys are just completely pointless. They seem like a spot filler..

Yeah, I realize he has fans... who are happy to see him, but in the grand scheme of things, Ermac seems like a relatively useless addition to the story.

He's more or less just there to be another minion running around Outworld. Rain has more actual presence than he seems to thus far (though granted, I've only seen up to chapter 7). And at least Reptile has been prominent amongst Kotal's inner circle in everything we've seen thus far (comic and whatnot) wheras with Ermac we weren't even sure where the hell his allegiance lied before today.

Add to that the fact that Kenshi is also Telekinetic, and could theoretically have taken on any cool gameplay elements they gave to Ermac and yeah...

They totally just added Ermac because they wanted him in the game, not because he needed to be in the game.

Then again, if they hadn't added him, the roster would have zero MK3 era characters so... at least he's representing them.

Honestly the Second i saw Ferra Torr i knew this was a one and done apperance, Ed said they are his fav newcomers only because he knew they'd be poorly received.

1. D'Vorah and Kung Jin are probably gay. Get over it. They aren't stereotypes like Hsu Hao was which makes the better characters. And Hsu Hao should never reappear.

2. I need a PM to a stream provided it's the first three chapters of the end of Scorpion's onward.

3. I really hope there's a second Kombat Pack. It's incredibly lame that Baraka, Rain and Sindel are fightable but half-finished and Fujin, Bo Rai Cho and Li Mei are present in the game and not even fightable. Tanya is the only returning playable DLC fighter announced. There needs to be a second pack.

Too bad it's true. I feel bad because I actually thought Ferra/Torr were a really cool and nice idea in the MKU. I really like Ferra she is soo adorable and amazing, it really makes me upset that we might get another Kobra or Hsu Hao in this amazing character/characters that only needed more screen time.

I hope we are wrong and that Ferra/Torr will stick around.

I guess EB was hyped about Ferra/Torr. Sounds cool and Ferra is funny, but the idea for them just didn't work unless they were the sub-boss instead of Goro.

Kobra and Hsu Hao are characters who sucked and would be very difficult to make likable. I can see Kobra being reworked to be a better character but Hsu Hao is irredeemable.

Darrius and Nitara were simply underdeveloped and needed screen time.

They aren't going anywhere...
