She chose Cassie and Jax got shot in the head. Johnny woke her from her nightmare, but he had terrible news: Jax was shot in the head by an assassin's bullet.

In Sonya's ending Kano takes Jax and Cassie hostage and makes Sonya choose who lives and who dies (oh you cliche villain you) Sonya chooses Cassie, and Kano shoots Jax in the head (I was expecting him as the villain to shoot the opposite one, but whatever)... then Sonya wakes up and it's a dream. But as she wakes up, Johnny informs her he just got a call that Jax has been killed by a sniper.

So what... Sonya is a dream psychic now? Wtf was that ending supposed to mean? I found it stupid. Like a damn nonsensical Twisted Metal ending. It was more mysterious twist than relevant information.

Look, I'm very liberal and pro-LBGT, but the fact of the matter is that sexuality, religion and politics have no place in MK. It would just be awkward and out of place.

And the outcome really had nothing to do with Sonya but moreso Jax.

That was very contradicting tbh, but I understand you. I am gay too so it'd be nice to have a gay character in game, however the people on this forum kinda do far too much in reading into things for no reason. It's why half of them were so disappointed with the story, they take two words and make a whole scenario in their head. I'm all for debates, but the manner in which they go about it is ridiculous and laughable and the childishly obnoxious retorts of "YOU CAN'T PROVE ME WRONG, YOU ARE BOON" are eye roll worthy.

I don't remember Liu Kang getting any flack for loving Kitana, so I think it's safe to assume Kung Jin is not strictly heterosexual. What that specifically means (since it's not asexual) is up to the developers.
